Dear friend of Eric, Pat and Bessie. Loyal fan of the Oshawa Generals, New York Rangers and Lacrosse Teams. At Paul's request a direct cremation with a Committal Service in England to take place at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated. LINDSAY, Clare Marie (nee Colford)
Peacefully after a brief illness at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa in her 80th year, formerly of Montreal, Quebec. Always loved and deeply missed by her husband Charles Crawford Lindsay MD; and their children Joanne (Ray Conlogue), Charles (Susan Keith), Ian, Brian (Diana Guthrie), Martha Roussy (David MacFarlane), and Zoe (Peter MacGibbon); also by their grandchildren Jenna and Dannielle, Sarah, Joshua, and Michelle, Jonathan, Clare and Christopher; also by her brother Rev. John A. Colford and her sister Rosemary Huestis. Predeceased by her brother George Colford. We sincerely thank Cathy Fiddes, our family's close friend of the last few years. December 23, 1921 - November 9, 2003. Formerly of Port Perry. WWII Veteran. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 9, 2003. Beloved husband of Kay (Mary Duddin). Loving father of David and his wife Chris and Brian and his wife Marie. Dear grandfather of Aaron and Steven and his wife Tracey. Survived by brothers Norm and Bob and his wife Jane. Predeceased by siblings Jack, Bill, Doris and Alice. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held in the chapel of the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Wednesday November 12 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation at Mount Lawn Crematorium. Dear father of Judy (Bill) Bouman, Donna (Rick) Green, Jim (Deb) Flieler and Helen. Ferdinand will be missed and always loved by his 9 grandchildren, his 3 great grandchildren, his sister Frieda Osborn and brother Floyd. Predeceased by his parents Cora and Wilmer Flieler and his granddaughter Stephanie. At Mr.Flieler's request there will be no visitation. The Lord took back Home to Himself on Saturday November 8, 2003 at Toronto Sick Children's Hospital after a courageous 9 year battle with illness, aged 9 years. Beloved son of Pam & Harvey Snyder. Dear brother of Justin. Loving grandson of Ralph & Barb Tukker and Rienk & Annie Snyder. Dear nephew of Betty & John Gore; Jim & Audry Snyder; Rod & Colleen Tukker and Paul Tukker. Loving cousin of Melissa, Matthew, Kelsey, Erin, Laura, Luke & Rebecca. Specially remembered by Bob Crocker, Laura & Dylan. Lovingly remembered & sadly missed by his home nurses. A Special Thank you to Dr. Hilliard, Susan, the loving staff, Doctor's & Nurses who have all helped to care for this special little boy, and to Waverly Public School staff & students for their love & kindness through out the years. McDONALD, Arthur Allen
( Born in Toronto May 27th, 1908) At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday, November 6th, 2003. Husband and best friend of wife Loretta for 67 years. Dear father of Mary Wannamaker (Roy), Allen McDonald (Lee) and Teresa Gow (David). Predeceased by son Joseph Roland McDonald. Oldest of 16, he is survived by sisters Cecelia, Nora, Verna and brother Ross. Loving grandfather of 9, great- grandfather of 17 and great-great-grandfather of 2. Mr. McDonald was a Veteran of W.W. II Royal Canadian Engineers, stationed at Camp X throughout the war and remained there until 1969. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Friday, November 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, Bowmanville on Saturday, November 8th at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. A Legion Service will be held at 7 p.m.

McKNIGHT, Marion
With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Marion McKnight, peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Friday, November 7th, 2003 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Richard McKnight. Dear mother of Darlene Owen, Diane and husband Doug Kirby, Ted and wife Christine McKnight. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Craig and wife Sue Michael, Kevin Michael and Andrea, Mark and Diana Owen, Maureen Owen and Colin Weir, Mathew McKnight and Johnathon Mills, Wanda (Kirby) and husband Shayne Anderson. Loved dearly by great grandchildren Kelsey and Kaitlyn Michael and Kali and Cassidy Michael. Loved sister of John Ham and Bert and wife Rosemary Ham. She will be missed by nieces and nephews and will always be loved and remembered by Asa Pixley and Kevin McCable. Predeceased by parents Lorne and Ada Ham, sister Georgina Temperton, son Allyn McKnight and grandson Cary Michael. Much loved Mom of Joanne and the late Bruce Smith, Stewart and Judi, Douglas and Joanne, and Lawrence and Mary. Cherished Grandma of Bryan and Linda, Christine and Craig, Jennifer and Bryan, Andrew and Lolita, Mathew, Sean and Shane. Great-Grandma of Melissa, Justin, Damian, Autumn, Reece, Breanna, Joshua and Andrew. Sadly missed sister-in-law of Mildred Stewart. Bea was former member of the Oshawa Seniors and will be fondly remembered by her relatives and friends.
