Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday January 31, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Cemetery. Predeceased by husband Lawson Sturgeon, sons Harold, Clifford and Ivan Sturgeon, daughter-in-law Anne Sturgeon, grandson William (Bill) Sturgeon, granddaughter Dawn Sturgeon and great grandson Matthew Daley. A wonderful woman and mother who will be deeply missed by her children Phyllis Palmer (Jack) of Oshawa, Donald Sturgeon (Margaret) of Trenton and daughter-in-law Dorothy Sturgeon of Trenton. Mary will be remembered as a loving Nanny that shared special tea times with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by great great grandchildren Cody Irvin, Kayla Irvin and Emily Roberts. Fondly remembered by caregiver and special friend Yvonne Vanderhyden.
