Predeceased by his parents Margaret and John Dooley, sisters Mary Cummings and Sheila, brother Jack, nephews Sam Cummings and Michael Dooley and great-nephew Jimmy Cummings. Leaving to mourn brothers Sidney, Peter (Madeline), Bernard of Ottawa and a very special nephew, Bill Cummings, who helped Charles prepare for a peaceful journey to the other side. OATES, George Frederick - passed away at Vancouver Island, British Columbia, on March 30, 1998, George Frederick Oates of Naramata, British Columbia, formerly of Freshwater, Carbonear, and St. John`s, age 80 years. Later deceased, his wife Mary, November 11, 1998. KRUG, Joseph R. - 70, of Dalton, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel with Fr. Ronald Turek officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born March 6, 1932 in St. John`s, Newfoundland, Canada to Ernest F. and Margaret M. (Reddy) Krug. He was President of Local 457 AP Green Re-Fractory in Massilon and retired from Clark Ceramics in Dalton where he was an artistic painter. He was a member of St. Agnes Church in Orrville and enjoyed refinishing furniture. Surviving are his loving wife, Yvonne ( Birdsey) Krug, 4 step-children and other relatives and friends in Canada and United States. His parents died previously.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Ellen Messervey announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the age of 98.
