Born March 6, 1926 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Graduated into Glory March 4, 2004 in Oshawa, Ontario. For 36 years, he served as a teacher in Ontario Christian Schools, turning your hearts towards God. He was a marine, artist, author, musician, athlete, preacher, linguist and wit. He was also the faithful husband of Audrey, his sweetheart, friend and partner since that first day on the beach, during war, across an ocean and through 52 years of an extraordinary, loving marriage. He was, above all, a child of God. William was adored, respected and fiercely loved by his family Marten & Rita Demmer and Mark, Daniel & Matthew. Debbie & Hans Bulk and Nicole & Ryan Worsfold, Kristen, Paul & Danielle. Wendy & John Bakker and Rachel, Alicia & Derek. Elly & Doug Adams and Andrew, Kevin & Timothy. Lloyd & Sandra Rang and William Cameron, born on March 3, 2004 - who met his Opa through a miracle of the Grace of God. Survived by brothers Dick, Hiddo, Jaap & Gerrit in the Netherlands. Beloved wife of Guy Maldred Snider who predeceased her on May 12, 1966 and daughter of the late Charles & Nellie MacInally. Predeceased by her daughter Beverly Blakely, and son Roger Snider of Picton, and son Hugh Snider of Oshawa. Loved mother of Wilma Mellott of Oshawa, Ruth Wright and her husband Archie of Picton, Doug Snider and his wife Ellen of Picton, Laura Wilkinson of Belleville, and Ron Beaudrie of Barrie. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her 27 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2004, at age 80. Beloved husband of Grace Edna Rae. Loving and gentle father to David, Liz, Linda, Mary-Anne and Arthur. Will be lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren (1 with the Lord) and 1 great- grandson. His life was based on Proverbs Chaper 3 and his favourite verses were 5,6. He was a man who fully lived out his faith. John is survived by 4 siblings: Jim Rae, Margaret Carter, Bob Rae and twin sister Jean Head. Served with Bell Canada for 42 years in various leadership positions. Sadly missed by many friends, hockey buddies and neighbours. After a courageous battle Jack passed away at Rouge Valley Ajax Hospital on Monday, March 1st, 2004, at the age of 79. Loving husband of 53 years to Grace (nee Wallington). Cherished father of Bob (Wendy) of Calgary, Sue (Greg Irvine) of Charlottetown, John (Sue) of Ottawa and Doug (Karen) of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Alex, Erin, and Michelle; Kevin and Leanne; and Adrian. Survived by brother William Willson (Pat Moore) of Windsor and sister Amy Jeffs of London. Born in Kisbey, Saskatchewan, raised in Windsor, Ontario, subsequently lived many years in Kingston, Ontario and Oshawa/Whitby. Graduated in Pharmacy from U of T. Retired from Parke Davis after 37 years. Active in Kiwanis for over 40 years. Jack enjoyed curling, cards and his cottage, but most of all he enjoyed his extended family and friends.
