The joy of his life for the past 9 years, his great-grand daughter Katie will sadly miss her "Didi". Michael will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Peacefully at the Village of Erin Meadows, Mississauga, on April 5,2004 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (nee Palister). Loving and devoted dad of Michael, Terry (Wendy), and Cheryl (Greg Waring). Proud Grandpa of Robbie, Jordan, Dannah, Mitchell and Brett. Predeceased by his parents Grace and Louis Allems and his brothers Ross and John. Survived by brother Paul (Sondra). Bruce was employed at Ontario Hydro and retired after 40 years service. Bruce was a sportsman, who found relaxation in playing darts, crosswords and spending time with his grandchildren. A great husband, a great father, grandfather and uncle, a great man, who will be remembered always. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 10:30 am. HUSBAND, Patricia
Suddenly, after a brief illness, on Monday, April 5, 2004 at Southlake Hospital, Newmarket at the age of 71. Pat leaves her son David (Diane), and daughters Mary Crystal (Lyle), Linda Graham (David), Jackie Molica (Tino), and the girls Kathy and Darlene. Grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Darren, Misty, Samantha, Anthony and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother Gord Morris (Doris), and sisters Betty Bakker (Rudy) and Peggy Daniels (Bill). Pat lived life to the fullest enjoying her winters in Mexico and her summers at the trailer at Young's Point. Her infectious laugh, sense of humour and her feistiness will live on in our hearts and memories. Heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful nurses and staff, Drs. Nathanson and McKinnon of Southlake Hospital, Newmarket and her physician Dr. Noland of Colborne, the staff at the Armstrong Funeral Home, Oshawa and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Oshawa. Honouring Pat's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, 471 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa. Loving mother of Dorothy Nickerson of Whitby, David Edward Logan and his wife Patricia of Santa Monica, California, and Gaye and her husband Clifford (Kiffy) Dixon of New Brunswick. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Walters of Berwick-on-Tweed, England. Survived by nieces and nephews in England.
