Brother of Barbara and her husband Bill Curtis, Shirley and her husband Jack Locke, Noel Henning and his wife Betty, Sharon and her husband Walter Jackson and Glenn Henning and his wife Nancy. Dear grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Ian, Brady, Bridie, Iris, Sadie & Malcolm. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday June 10th at 1:30 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or The Cancer Society.

McDOUGALL, Daniel
(30 years with Enbridge/ Consumers Gas). passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Monday, June 7, 2004, at the age of 52. Beloved husband of Betty and loving father of Danny and Scott. Dear son of Marjorie and Daniel. Loving brother of Margie (Charlie), Jean (Jimmy), Ian (Lynn), Audrey (Jamie) and Mandy (Billy). He will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews and extended sons. Dear son-in-law of May and Alex. Brother-in-law to Alex (Isabel) and Mary (Ian). His dry sense of humour will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The funeral service will be held at the Forest Brook Bible Chapel (south east corner of Finch and Fairport in Pickering) on Friday at 11:00 a.m, Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Durham Access to Care would be greatly appreciated.

Loving father of Sharon Trineer, Sandi Plumbtree and her husband Paul, Wendy Trineer-Rickard and her husband Robin. Dear grandfather of Scott, Heidi, Abbie, Gordie, Kelly, Rudy, Whitney and 2 great-grandchildren Jade and Jeremy. Survived by his sisters Jean, Joyce and Doreen. Predeceased by his brothers Robert, Hubert and Ross. BURDEN, Douglas
The Family of Douglas Burden regretfully announce the passing of their Dad on June 6th, 2004. His death came peacefully following a long and difficult illness. Dad was a gentle man, devoted to his late wife Evelyn and his eight children. Dad had a heart that was large with kindness and love for his family. In the end, this same heart told him it was time to be with Mom again, and he agreed. He missed her very much and had looked forward to this day for seven years. Husband of the late Evelyn Burden (Peaker), Douglas is survived by his eight children: Leslie Bissett (David, Calgary), Jane Burden (Kingston), Peter (Gale, Oshawa), Allison Halls (Kent, Oshawa) John (Mary, Oshawa), Mary Ellen Eddy (Douglas, Lindsay) Andrew (Sharon, Courtice) and Elizabeth Saunders (Darrell, Courtice). He will be remembered as Papa by 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Doug will also be missed by his brother Donald Burden of Oshawa. At the family s request, Memorial donations to the Ontario Lupus Association would be appreciated.

Peacefully passed away at The Hospital for Sick Children on Sunday, June 6th, 2004, aged 2 years. Loving daughter of Jennifer de Vries-Vander Meulen and Derek Roach. Dear sister of Ethan. Cherished granddaughter of Heidi and Gary, Pam and Archie. Great-granddaughter of Gail and Walter, and Christina and Jeanette. Great-great- granddaughter of Heidi de Vries. She will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thank you to Dr. Grant and Dr. Al-Faris and the nursing staff of the 8th floor, social worker Miss Sonya, Karen Charpentier, Susan Awrey, home care nurse Debbie Lemon and all the Rehoboth Church family for their care, kindness and compassion. Funeral service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9th, 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to (Cancer Research) The Hospital For Sick Children.

POLLEY, Eileen Elizabeth
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday June 5, 2004 in her 83rd year. Lovingly remembered by her children Ken (Paula), Jim (Hiroko), and Heather (George) Berry. Truly missed by her grandchildren Christopher, Kevin, Tyler, Kenly, Katelyn and Adam. The family would like to thank the wonderful support and care given to their mother from the medical staff of 6F at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Eileen rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME LTD., 124 King Street East Oshawa. Funeral service was held in KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 147 Simcoe Street North on Tuesday June 8, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Loving mother, grandmother and best friend of Carole Booth and her husband Eric of Scarborough, Darren 'Blue' Reece and his wife Sabrina of Brooklin and Kelly Sutherland and her husband Scott of Whitby; Kimmie Cabral and her husband Nelson, Michael Parks, Kristal and Victoria Reece. Fondly remembered by her nephew Gren Denham and his wife Shirley of Keswick, and their families; her cousin-in-law Inga Boles of Kingsville and her family; the Reece families in England, with special mention of Jack and Bette Johnstone and Irene Reece; her many neighbourhood friends, especially Linda and Jim Butler and Sal of Oshawa. She will be sadly missed by her loving dog and companion of 14 years, Sandy.
