ALBERT, Eunice Ethel (nee Furlotte)
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville on Saturday July 31, 2004, at the age of 84. Eunice was one of the 18 children born to her (predeceased) parents James Furlotte and Edith (Gallon) Furlotte in Jacquet River, New Brunswick. Eunice is predeceased by her loving children Evan Albert and Mary Grearson. She will be sadly missed by her surviving children William and his wife Betty, Rita and her husband Eric, Fred and his wife Manny, and Juanita and her husband Tom. Eunice is survived by one sister Cassie Fullarton of Frederickton, New Brunswick. She is predeceased by her six sisters Laura, Florence, Alice, Patricia, Lillian, and Edith, and also by her ten brothers Edward, Edwin, Hubert, Ernest, Andrew, Alfred, Stewart, Eugene, John and James Furlotte. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, Tammy, Steven, Bryan, William, Barbara, Karen, Heather, Helene, Frederick, Dwayne, Roland, Wanda, Tracy, Dawn, Joseph, and Monica, and is predeceased by her grandson Allan. Eunice was also blessed with 24 great grandchildren Nealy, Quinton, Mason, Emma, Liam, Bradley, Tarah, Micheal, Adam, Jessica, Taylor, David, Natasha, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Mathew, Taryn, Robyn, Justin, Cody, Tierra, Christopher (predeceased), Selena, and Jacob. Eunice will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday August 4th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation Tuesday August 3rd, from 6 - 9 p.m. Cremation. The Interment of cremated remains will take place on Saturday August 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery. In memory, donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ELLINS, Robert Lloyd (Bob)
passed away peacefully in his 75th year at Port Perry Hospital on Saturday, July 31st, 2004, after a brief but tough struggle against a number of problems. Bob's passing leaves a great hole in the life of his loving sister Eleanor. He will be greatly missed by many cousins, especially Bruce Ewart, his constant cohort of school days, and by good friends, most notably his sidekick of later years, Ed Iglar. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

GILBERT, Bea
passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital on July 31, 2004, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Roy for over 52 years. Dear mother of Don (Laura), Doug, Darlene, Lucy (Mark), Barry (Kim) and pre-deceased by Debbie. Proud grandmother of 10. Pre-deceased by her brother Don Arnold. In Bea's memory donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

WESTHUES, Maria (Mary) Josefa (nee Ferkmann)
Peacefully at home in Whitby on Saturday, July 31, 2004, in her 85th year. Beloved husband of William. Loving mother of Mary, and her husband Michael Dziawa, from Ottawa, Elisabeth and her husband Glen Davidson, of Whitby, and Leo Westhues and his wife Sylvia from Bielefeld, Germany. Survived by her sister, Agnes Ferkmann of Coesfeld, Germany and by her grandchildren Matthew and Craig Davidson, and Carolyn and Valerie Dziawa. She will be sadly missed and always in our hearts. Funeral Service to be held at Holy Family Church, 91 Ribblesdale Dr., Whitby, on Friday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m., with internment following the sevice. In lieu of flowers, donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family

At Extendicare Nursing Home on Friday July 30, 2004, Gladys Fulling in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Fulling. Loving mother of Diane Richardson and her husband John, Marlene Kornie and her husband Nick, Randy Fulling and his wife Jan and their sister Marion Cain. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Candis Sabean, John Richardson, Nick, Michael, Jason and Christine Kornie and Kent Fulling and by her great grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Bryanna, Tiyonna and Cadet. Rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa. A graveside service was held at Union Cemetery on Tuesday August 3 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation was held Monday 7-9 p.m.

(now an Angel of God). Entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, July 30, 2004. POLMATEER, Bruce
Suddenly passed away on July 30, 2004 at the Ajax and Pickering Hospital in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Loretta. Loving father to Shelley and her husband Tom Britton. Cherished poppa to Jason and Stacey. Also Bruce leaves behind his sister Irene Cadieux and was predeceased by his three brothers Alan, Ken, and Grant. Cremation. STAPLETON, Leonora Evelyn
In her 90th year. With peaceful dignity and her family at her side, on Friday July 30, 2004 at Kawartha Lakes Extendicare, Lindsay. Born on September 22, 1914 in Orono and having lived a full life as part of the Kendal farming community we announce with great sorrow the loss of our dear Mom, Leonora Evelyn Stapleton. Predeceased by her husband John Maxwell (Jack), 1987 & her parents Charlie & Leta (Bryson) Cooper and brothers Bill & Grant Cooper. Survived by brother Vance Cooper (Marguerite), sister Audrey McKee (Jim), and sister-in-law Jackie Cooper. Also her children Anne West (Dean), Merle Dost (Jerry), and Bill Stapleton (Shirley). Grandchildren Terry Cook, Cindy Guimond (Dennis), Deanna Walker (Dennis), John West, Lori Knox (Randy), Steve Dost (Karen), Linda Carter, Brad Stapleton and Brent Stapleton (Natascha). Great-grandchildren Shawn Cook, Katie & Riley Knox, Sarah & Kristine Dost, Dallas, Candice & Dakota Guimond, Brandon & Alyssa Stapleton, Kristian & Weston Walker and Jacob Carter. Mom will be fondly remembered by her many friends and relatives of the Kendal & Lindsay areas. passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry on Friday, July 30th, 2004 at the age of 67. Ken Wild, loving father of Crystal and her husband Anthony Celar and Stephen and his wife Gina Wild. Dear grandfather of Leanne, Michael and Matthew Celar, Ryan, Daniel and Taylor Wild and great- grandfather of Brooklyn Celar-Younghusband. Dear brother of Joyce Coward, Janet Wild and Kathleen Long, all of England. At the request of Ken, no funeral service will be held. Cremation. KIRK, Lillian M.G. (nee Wilson)
Long time Whitby resident, Lillian, a loving Christian went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on July 28, 2004 at Fairview Lodge in Whitby in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband James R. Kirk (Jimmy) in 1984, and her second son Ronald D. of Port Hope in 1996. Will lovingly be remembered by her son Robert J. and his wife Lorraine F. of Whitby, daughter Nancy B. Jansen and her husband Casey of Newtonville, Ronald's wife Dianne of Cobourg and sons Daniel W. of Oshawa, and Peter R. of Port Credit. Also remembered by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Lillian served in the C.W.A.C. during World War II, Member of the Orange Lodge, and long time member of the Salvation Army. Many thanks to the staff and the many volunteers of Fairview Lodge.
