Devoted ''Papa'' of Amy Naumienko-Heaton and her husband Spencer, Shari Misner and Charley Misner. Beloved brother of Clarence, Glenn, Murray and wife Joyce, and sister-in-law Thelma. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Brian and Matt. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Merle Crawford, his wife Minnie McLellan, his brother Bud, his granddaughter Cindy Misner and his sisters-in-law Dora and Lydia. Peacefully with his family by his side at Peel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the age of 84 years. James, beloved husband of the late Betty Doreen (Carruthers). Loving father of Marilyn Murphy, Bernice Reynolds (Richard), James B. Hubbard (Michele), William J. Hubbard (Karen) and Brett R. Hubbard (Catherine). She will be truly missed by her 18 grandchildren and her many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Ethel Holson , Daisy Barber and William Streeter. Winifred was born in Birmingham , England and moved to Canada at the age of 12. Toronto was her home until she moved to Oshawa seven years ago. The Wynfield Nursing Home is where Winifred and her many friends resided for the last year of her life. A special thanks to Ginny Petch and Merlene Boise for their care and friendship. After a long battle with cancer, on Sunday March 13, 2005, passed away peacefully at home, in his 56th year. Beloved husband of June, and loving father of Michael and the late Stephen, and son of June and Douglas Lumber, and brother of Gail. Fondly remembered by other relatives, Linda and James Elphick, Peter and Liz Carson, and William and Krysia Carson, and grandchildren Brett, Katie, Rebecca and Scott, as well as Angela, Trisha and brother-in-law David Nettleship and many other relatives and friends. Loving great grandmother of Laura (Jason), Brandon (Judy), Jordan, Kelsey, Alexandra and Elyse. An exceptional lady admired and respected by all who knew her. A devoted wife for 60 years. A woman that enjoyed good company, sewing, knitting, and looking beautiful. She will be deeply missed. MOTTRAM, Basil Charles
It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Baz, on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 84. Baz is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty, his sons and their wives, Doug and Heather, and Jim and Morag, and by his grandsons Brendan and Adrian. Baz worked as a Customs Broker from 1937 until his retirement in 1996, finishing his career as President of Bertram and Cumming Limited. He served his country during WW II as a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery with the then secret Radar Surveillance Units. "Buzz" will be remembered by his family and friends as a gentle beekeeper, a consummate carpenter, a gifted artist and a tireless punster. All who knew him were touched by his quiet thoughtfulness and kindness. His deep love and affection for his family will be greatly missed. A Private Service was held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Wednesday, March 16th with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
