Peacefully, at the Port Perry Hospital, on Saturday, August 27, 2005, in his 104th year. Beloved husband of Ella May Holmes. Dear father of John (Florence) "Mike", Harry (Marilyn). Step-father to Arthur Thompson (Gertude) and family. Loving grandfather to Brian (Brigitte), Brent (Rhonda), Bridget (Scott Dewyze). Great-grandfather to Natalie, Spencer, Sabrina, Lindsay, Courtney, Brooklyn, and Cadence. Funeral Service on Thursday, September 1 at 2p.m. at the Erskine Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, and should family and friends so desire, donations to the Erskine Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Brown and Dr. Mercer and staff at Port Perry Hospital for their caring and kindness.

Loved grandmother of Christopher Martin (Donna), Florida, Kris Knight (Mary), Toronto, Tiffany Martin, Mississauga, Michelle Johnston (Brian), MaryLynn Holmes (Shawn), and Misty Knight (Tyrone), James, Michael, and David, and great grandmother of Brittany, Courtney, Christopher, Aliyah, Dion, Mikayla, Isaiah and Jamila, Dear sister of Ronald Myles, and the late Albert Myles, and sister-in-law of Carmel Hamlyn, Mary Johansen (Ejgil), Nora MacInally, and Patrick McCaffrey (Norma). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends. Special heartfelt thanks to Nancy Titka and Rose Powell for the compassionate care given to Mom over the past few years, and the staff at Credit Valley Hospital 2B. Loving sister of Carol Hazelton (Wayne), Barbara Hume (Clifford), Nancy Sherburne, Mairi Bender, John Sherburne (Denise). Daughter in law of Jaraslava and Andy Pankiw, sister of Oleh and Sylvia, Bill and Walter, Paul and Jan Sadiwnyk and spiritual sister and best friend of Lynn Ruetz. Anne will be missed by her cherished pets Cheeky, Chocolate and Bear. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Loving mother of Lynda, Bev and Charles, Kathleen, Barb and Randy. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother. Dear sister of Vern and Ruth Wright. Daughter of the late Mervyn and Caroline Wright. Eileen was loved, and will be missed by her extended family and friends. Great-grandmother of Clifford and Colleen McCarten, Kellee, Lynsee and Kale Stephens, Wesley and Olivia Henry and Sean Johnston. Survived by her brother Delbert Purdy (Dolly) of Kelowna, B.C., sister Dorothy Ballagh of P.E.I. Predeceased by brothers Frank Purdy, Louis Purdy, Harold Purdy and sisters Mabel McIntosh, Violet Findlay, Alice Jack and Beatrice Purdy. After a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer, peacefully with her family by her side at home on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Rose (nee Didych) in her 76th year. Dearly beloved wife of Donald Woods for 46 years. Loving mother of Cheryl Fleming and her husband Eric of Ottawa, Greg Woods of Oshawa, Lorraine Woods and her husband James Sarnovsky of Courtice, Jim Woods and his wife Patricia of Bowmanville, and Todd Woods and his wife Cristina of Courtice. Dear grandmother of Meghen, Melissa and Colleen Fleming, Casey, Blair and Jennafer Woods, John and Kellea DeMille, Carleigh and Brooklyn Sarnovsky, Mitchell and Riley Woods, Aaron, Alexandra and Emily Woods. Dear sister of Anne Armstrong of Whitby. Rose was a member of St. Gertrude s Catholic Womens League. Loved grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dorothy and her husband Lloyd Beech (deceased), and Irene (deceased) and her husband Stan Hall all of Bowmanville. passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Jack and son Donald Titus.
