Went to be with her Lord, peacefully after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, August 19th, 2005, at the age of 41 years. Dearly beloved wife of Steve and loving mother of Chris, (Brittany), Corey and Zack. Cherished daughter of Pat and Gord Haughton and daughter- in-law of LaVerne and Gary Young. Sadly missed sister of Sharon Wiegand (Roger), Kelly Nodell (Stuart) and Dale Haughton (Casie). Tammy will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you to her friend Sue and the nurses at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital, Chemo Clinic for their compassionate care. Tammy s faith, strength and determination were admired by all who new her. She inspired and touched many lives . Passed away, on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at the age of 18. Scott, beloved son of Vera and Ted, and Barry and Jennifer. Beloved brother of Charli-Ann, T.J., Buddy and Gordon. (Registered Dietitian) passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a thirteen month battle with cancer on August 16, 2005. Survived by her loving husband Brian Steele. Much loved daughter of Sarah Morgan and the late Tom. Dear sister of Arwyn and his wife Rhona, Stephen and Gareth and his wife Amanda. Fondly remembered by six nephews and two nieces. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village Whitby from 6-9p.m. Thursday and Friday. Harold Timms, formerly of Blackstock, and the 4th Concession, Pickering, beloved husband of the late Etta (nee Sedore). Dear brother of Fred Timms of Greenbank and predeceased by his sisters Gladys Willes, Mary Griffis and Lillian Leach, and his brothers Albert, George and Don Timms. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Loving mother of Marion and Terry Moore of Scarborough and Dirk and Lloy Garlichs of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Drew Garlichs of Waterloo. COLE, Eileen Muriel
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Cple at the Palliative Care Unit, Lakeridge Health-Whitby on Saturday, August 13th, 2005 at the age of 77. A lifelong resident of Oshawa, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine Cple and was predeceased by her sisters Doris and Edna and her brothers Ray and Bert. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her sister Hilda (and brother-in-law Harold) Woolley, her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. A member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Eileen worked for Bell Canada for 38 years before retiring in 1983. Her health had deteriorated in the past 3 years and after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, she is now at peace. We would like to thank the staff of Cedarcroft Retirement Home (Oshawa), the 8th floor, Lakeridge Health-Oshawa and the 4th floor, Lakeridge Health-Whitby for their kind and loving care during Eileen s stay with each of them. (Formerly of Wilmot Creek, Newcastle and recently of Comfortable Alternative Bowmanville) passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday August 13, 2005. Dearly loved wife of the late William David Sturch. She will be missed by her brothers-in-law Leonard (Elizabeth) of Auckland, New Zealand and Peter (Angela) of London England, sisters-in-law Mrs. Jean (Trevor) Morgan, Ms Joan Sturch and Mrs. Jacqueline Sturch and their families. She will also be missed by her many friends in Canada and the United States. Mrs. Sturch was born in Springfield Massachusetts U.S.A. and is a graduate of Chicopee High School and Bay Path College. She was a Past Grand President of the Ladies Auxiliaries to the Order of Scottish Clans in the U.S. and Canada. Past President of Aux. 39, O.S.C., Chicopee Falls and Aux 68 O.S.C. Toronto. A member of Aloha Chapter # 258 O.E.S. and a life Member of the Tartan Social Club, Toronto. According to the wishes of Mrs. Sturch there will be no visitation or funeral service. Graveside service will be held at a later date at the Pirie family plot in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee MS U.S.A. If desired donations may be made to the Memorial Hospital Foundation Bowmanville.
