passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Hospital, on Tuesday September 6th, 2005 in her 76th year. Jean Duff, beloved wife of Murray Payne for 55 years. Cherished mother of Garfield (Iva), Jennifer (Ivan), Lance (Martine), Shelley and the late Rodney. She will be missed by 7 grandchildren. Former schoolteacher with a lifelong interest in civic issues and environmental conservation. Service will be held at the Welcome United Church on Friday September 9th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Jean V. & Rodney C. Born March 24, 1905 at Chorley, Lancashire, England. Died peacefully resting in the arms of Jesus on September 5, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Beverley. Bella was the loving mother of June Troy (Bill - deceased) and Al Beverley (Wendy). She was also the devoted and loving grandmother of Jim (Wendy), Gord (Deb), Jeff (Melinda), Chrissie (Fred), John - deceased (Emma), Lisa - deceased and Sheri (Frank). She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Victoria (Joey), Jamye, Matthew, Jordan, Bill (Kerri), Jason (Sheila), Cara (Craig), Bretta (Brian), Leigh (Shannon), David, Jennifer (Mike), Mike (Whitney), Sarah, Aaron and her great-great-grandchildren Leah, Dayle, Allana and Declan. She was predeceased by her sisters Chrissie, Violet, Flora, and her brother Hugh. Bella will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends and church family. A Funeral Service to celebrate Bella's life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from Durham Full Gospel Church, 419 Brock St. N., Whitby, visitation 1 hour prior to service. Morrison (Irene). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Eva Morrison and her son John "Ted" (1987). Always fiercely independent, she maintained her enthusiasm for life and her sense of humour to the end. Reta (nee Robertson) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Glasgow. Loving mother of Alan (Tracey) of Sarnia, and Dennis (Renate) of Toronto, and grandmother of Jennifer, Margaret, and Stephen Glasgow. Dear sister of Eva and her husband Grant Hunter of Port Perry, and the late MacAdam "Mac" Robertson of Havelock. Loving aunt of Beth Willes, John Hunter, Linda Hunter, Susan Hunter, Sonya Carter, Marie Johnston, and Marilyn Coughlin. She will also be missed by nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Australia, as well as her many dear friends at West Shore Village who made this past summer so wonderful.
