Gordon, loving husband of Peggy Olga Henry (nee Parker) for 48 years. Dear father of Joan and her husband Stephen Bennett of Millbrook. Loving Grandpa to Samantha and Andrew. Brother of the late James, Aileen Reith and Dorothy Cook. Brother-in-law of George F. Parker, Rose E. Wilson and the late Ida E. Russell. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Jefferson, Dr. Stone, The Staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Community Care, St Elizabeth Home Care, Angels of Flight, Guardian Drug Newcastle and all others who aided so much in Gordon s care. (Owner/Operator of Steam Butler) passed away at home after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the age of 55. Beloved husband of Janet and dear dad of David and daughter-in-law Jennifer. Papa to Shane and Elijah. Son of the late Robert and Yvette Bureau. Brother to Jerry, Yolande, Yve, O'Neil, Carole and Bob. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Joyce and the late James Blake. Brother-in-law to John Blake. BILLINGSLEY, Ronald Howard
passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on November 2nd, 2005. Ron Billingsley in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Golding). Loving father of Rhonda Thistle, Buzzy Billingsley, and Cathy Worsley & her husband Tim. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ronnie, Caitey and Sandy. Dear brother of Eleanor Huntington, and brother in law of Constance Billingsley both of New Carlisle, Quebec. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his dog P.J. Ron was born in New Carlisle, Quebec and enlisted in 1942 with the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps. He served as a truck driver transporting tanks and ammunition to the front lines. He served throughout the entire war in England, France, Belgium and Holland and returned home at the end of the war in 1945. After returning home Ron spent four years in the veterans hospital in Quebec City due to his war injuries. He and Phyllis were married June 4, 1960 in Hawkesbury, then moved to Mississauga and retired to Courtice in 1994. He was a longtime Legion Member at Branch #582. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday November 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Visitation Friday 7 9 p.m.

(Veteran of W.W.II serving with the Lake Superior Regiment overseas; retired longtime employee of General Motors after 32 years service) A true veteran: a long and valiant battle to the end. Surrounded by his dedicated and loving wife and family, Frank passed away at the Wynfield in Oshawa on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005. Beloved husband of 57 years to Dorothy. Loving father of Robert Bob Buller and wife Susan of Brooklin and Janel Robinson and husband Bill of Oshawa and late twin sons Ronald and Donald. Dear Grandpa of Jeff Buller and wife Andrea and Greg Buller and wife Adrienne, all of Brooklin; Rob Long and wife Jessica, Tyler Long, and Laney Robinson, all of Oshawa. Greatgrandpa of D.J., Mattie, Christian and Brooke Buller. Brother of Shirley Trude, Doreen Hargrove and the late Fred Buller and Marjorie Smith, all of Peterborough. It is with heartbreaking sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Rick Tugg Passfield at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky, in his 22nd year. Dearly beloved cherished son and best friend of Sheila, devoted older brother and guiding light to Jordan. Deeply loved grandson of Bill and Dianne McArthur and Patricia and the late Ken Passfield. Fondly remembered and so terribly missed by Great Grandmother Rose Fowler. Forever mourned nephew of Grant and Nicole McArthur and Ian McArthur. Adored best friend and love of Jenelle Thwaites. A nephew of the heart to Rosemarie and Stephen Hambly and Jeff Atanasio. Especially dear in the hearts of his cousins Nicole, Jenna and Braydon. Rick is forever in the memory of his many great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Tugg will remain in the hearts and souls of his extended family of friends from our lacrosse community. passed away peacefully with friends by her side, on November 1st, 2005, in her 95th year, at the Community Nursing Home, Pickering, Ontario. Loving and devoted wife of the late Bernard Rye. Precious and special mother of Marlene Rye (of Ajax), and Phyllis Yorke (of Keswick). Grandmother of Paul, Linda, Sharon and Brenda and great-grandmother of Heather and Hollie. Velma is survived by her sister Sara Crosier (of Chesley) and she is predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Metheral and her sister Almeda Morning, her brothers John, William (Sam), Howard (Buddy) and Peter. To the end, Velma was very eloquent, brave and kind, as the aging process took its toll. A very special thanks to Ms. J. B.
