HEADLAND, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Sutherland)
After a courageous battle with cancer at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, December 5th, 2005 in her 80th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lloyd; and her sister Anna and brother Hugh. Survived by her brother Harold Sutherland and his wife Margaret and family of Burlington, and sister in-law Isabel and family of Burlington. A private Funeral Service was held in the Chapel at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 8th, 2005 at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE "Thornton Chapel", 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations made to the Humane Society of Durham Region or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

MacLEOD, Murdoch Alexander
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Centre on Monday, December 5, 2005 at the age of 84. Survived by his wife Doris, son Garry (Laurie), granddaughter Christine and his sister Gladys. Predeceased by brothers Lawrence, Mansell and Raymond. A private memorial service was held on Wednesday December 7, 2005. Special thanks to the staff at Taunton Mills Nursing Home for their outstanding care of Murdoch. Memorial donations to Christ Memorial Anglican Church.

YOUNG, Norman W.
(Retired after 30 years and 6 months of service with the Toronto Transit Commission) passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5th, 2005 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Betty for 44 years. Loving father of Judy and her husband Harry, Paul and Colin and his wife Joanne. Cherished Grandpa to Eric, Ayla and Sydnee. Brother of Ruda, Ella and her husband Clayton, Ruby, Gary and Fern. Predeceased by his parents Katie and Lloyd Young. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. At his residence on Sunday December 4, 2005 at the age of 42. Paul David Berry, loving son of Marlene Berry and John and Theresia Berry. Loving brother of Colleen and her husband Scott Webb, and Heather and her husband Irwin Van Daalen. Dear grandson of Irene Stinson and the late Albert Stinson and nephew to Shirley and David Bolton. Paul will be fondly remembered by his nieces Carly, Grace, and by his nephew Ayden and his cousins. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday December 7th at 2:30pm. Cremation. BURNS, Kenneth Keith
passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4th, 2005 at the age of 51. Beloved son of May Burns and the late Keith Burns. Loving brother of Robert Burns and his wife Janet, Marilyn Herrington and her husband Paul, Alfred Burns and his wife Deborah, Sylvia Spicer and her husband Ron and John Burns and his wife Darlene. Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by 14 nieces and nephews. A private Memorial Service to be held. Grandfather of Michael, Scottie, Justin McDougall, Johnny, Jeremy, Krista Noel; Christopher, Andrew, Matthew Noel, Ross, Mellisa, Matthew, Cory, Victoria and Andrew Noel; Ronald, Teresa Noel; Roger, Nelson, Jamie, Brian Lajeunesse, Lisa, Wayne, Jerry, Jamie, Carrie Lyn Lajeunesse. Dear brother of Aline Grenier, Jeanette Patrie and predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by very close family friends, the Kazmerack family. Sadly missed by all his family. PAVLOFF-TROFIMOV, Elvira Helen
Suddenly, yet peacefully, on Sunday December 4th, 2005, Helen passed away to be with our Lord Jesus. She is survived by her loving and caring husband Peter Trofimov (predeceased by Walter Pavloff); her three children Anna, Ron and Emma and their spouses Bryan, Judy and Peter. Grandma is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Jared, Joelle (Jason), Mackenzie, Courtney, Mandy and Patricia. Loving remembered by her cousins Walter and Dietland Krenz and Waldermar and Albine Krenz. Predeceased by her grandmother Adele Schultz, her mother Elvira Nickel, and sister Elizabeth (Michael) Hlywa. Helen will be greatly missed and remembered for the important role she played in our lives -her kindness -her gentleness and much humour. Most of all, her family wishes to remember and thank her for her long lasting prayers that she consistently brought to the throne of God for the salvation of each and everyone of her family. Age 54 years. After a brave battle with cancer, passed away on Sunday December 4th, 2005 in Bowmanville.

Loved daughter of the late John and Georgina McCaffrey. Survived by her sister Helen and predeceased by her brothers Ed, Pat and Frank. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces Pamela, Caroline and Joanne and her nephew John. Loving father of Richard, Don (Sandy), Debbie Miller (Gary), Kenneth (Debra) and Joanne Peeters. Devoted grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Shirley Besachuk (Late Stan), Olga Siblock (Nick), Nettie Homes (Ed) and Mary Linkletter. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Beloved son of the late Alexander and Tekla Wasiluk.
