NOBLE, William Alexander
(W.W. II RAF Veteran, Past Chief of Dunedin Camp No. 5 Sons of Scotland Benevolent Association. Retired Postal Worker) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the Toronto East General Hospital, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Mary. Beloved father of Margaret (Chris) and the late Keith. Cherished grandfather of David (Tracey), Andrew, and Matthew (Michelle). Great- grandfather of Chrissy and Ashley. Bill will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends, both here and in Wales and Scotland. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (35 Church Street N., Pickering Village) on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated.

Peacefully, at home on Sunday, February 12, 2006, at the age of 3l. Beloved son of Rose McCulloch and the late Danny Safranko. Loving brother of Kathrine Safranko and her husband Steve, Jesse Safranko and his wife Jennifer. Devoted uncle of Kiauna and Ison. Survived by her sister Iris Morrison. Gene is predeceased by her brothers Cyril, Ivan, Jim and Wilf Morrison and her sisters Doreen Wakely and Clara Eddie. Suddenly, on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital at age 67. Lillian, beloved wife of Ross and loving sister of Bill Harrison, Elizabeth Nicholson and predeceased by Hazel Gorlie. At Lillian's request, cremation has taken place.

GARLICHS, Ernst G. (Ernie)
passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11th, 2006 at the age of 84 years, at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa. Beloved husband of the late Anny Garlichs. Loving father of Marion and Terry Moore of Scarborough and Dirk and Lloy Garlichs of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Drew Garlichs of Waterloo. A private family service was held at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE Thornton Chapel , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Cremation has taken place. GOOD, Joseph Roy
Surrounded by his loving family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Joseph Roy Good passed away the morning of February 11, 2006, from a short and abrupt battle with terminal cancer. Roy grew up, and has lived in the Durham Region his whole life. Devoted and loving husband to Pamela (nee Greentree). Loving father of sons Ronald Roy and Steven Joseph, and only daughter Katherine Christine. Father-in-law to Terri and Tana. Grandfather of newborn Emily. Son of Keith Good and the late Mona Good. Brother of Pat Good and Jocelyn Leslie. Son-in-law to Ken and Chriss Greentree. Brother-in-law to Craig and Laurie, Joe and Dawn, Guy and Linda Greentree and Wayne Leslie, and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Full of spirit and strength throughout every day of his life, constantly compassionate to family and friends, sons, daughter and wife. His enthusiasm to help anyone he saw that needed a hand, 30 years of police services where he would always so proudly stand. Roy s consistent involvement within our community is recognized. Giving everything you got is what he really goes by and would always emphasize. It is clear to see that Roy s faith in God, persistence in his work, dynamic spirit, and care for everyone with all of his heart, whatever he did he would say If you re gonna do it, do it right, right from the start! He portrayed the image of a true leader, a heart of gold, a smile that s contagious, and silly jokes that never grow old! He touched the lives of everyone that he knew in some sort of way. Truly loved, always missed and never forgotten. Roy was involved in many campaigns, charities, fundraisers, and service clubs. Some include: Heroes of Hope, United Way, Kinsmen, Knights of Columbus, Parkwood, Setting the Pace, Kid s Safety Village, and Hearth Place. His dedication to family, friends, and his commitment to serving his community will be carried on with the strength and persistence that he always carried in him. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to please make a donation to either the Durham Regional Cancer Centre, or Hearth Place. Roy was strongly involved in both of these charities.

MOASE, Gordon Wells
Peacefully, on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, 3 days before his 95th birthday. Gord Moase (formerly of Billings Avenue in Toronto), beloved husband of the late Amy (nee Meades). Loved father of Wayne Moase, Gary Moase, Ron Moase, Glen Moase and Gail Smyth. He will be lovingly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Gord is survived by his sister Marjorie Brown, and he was predeceased by his brothers Earl, Harold and Al Moase. The family of Gord Moase will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985?2171) on Monday, February 13th from 12 noon 1 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Dr. John Sullivan officiating. MOLONEY, Francis ( Frank ) Joseph
August 21, 1928 - February 11, 2006
Peacefully, supported by his family, Frank will be greatly missed after 50 years of marriage to his beloved wife Patricia (nee Heffernan). He was the cherished father of Karen, Maureen (Bob Weindorfer), and Paul. Predeceased by his son Gerard in 1970. He was a very special Poppa to grandson Kevin. Lovingly remembered by his sister Helen Kokko ( Vic-deceased ); and brothers; Jim ( Teresa ), Mark ( Joan ), and Bob ( Fran ). Predeceased by his brothers; John ( Gertrude ), Vic ( Jean ), and Paul. Also loved by sisters-in-law; Doreen Cain ( Mike ), Marcella McReavy ( Jim-deceased ) and Jean Heffernan ( Joe; Bobby-deceased ). Frank will be sadly missed by a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Frank was well respected in his career, but even more importantly, he touched everyone he met with his genuine interest in people.
He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, and his kindness, acceptance, and generosity, knew no bounds. He taught us to celebrate each and every day and to always put family first. He was a model of courage, faith, and strength, for family and friends.
Frank started his professional life as a teacher in a one room schoolhouse at Douro S.S. # 7, and then a three year period as a clerk at various Bank of Montreal branches. He then devoted his career for the next 33 years working in the South and North Main offices of General Motors of Canada in Oshawa. As an involved supporter of the Catholic faith, Frank was instrumental in the formation of St. Mary of the People Parish in Oshawa and St. Paul Catholic School in Whitby. In his retirement years he continued his work as a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, helped establish Marion Place Retirement Community in Oshawa and Holy Family Parish in Whitby.
A special thank-you to the Bowmanville Hospital nursing staff in the Special Care Unit, and nurses on the second floor. Thanks also to Durham Access to Care case manager Paula Mercier and staff.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation Wednesday February 15, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8:30pm. Sadly missed by his sister Lil Callaghan, brother Ernie Haight and his wife Verna, sister in-law Hazel Smith and her husband Lorne, sister in-law Ellen Whitworth and many nieces and nephews.
