MacLEAN, Dorothy Marion
Peacefully, on Monday, March 27, 2006 at her home in Port Perry. Dorothy (nee Irwin), beloved wife of Ross MacLean. Loved mother of Brian MacLean and his fiancée Norma Moore. Dear sister of the late Marjorie Hunter and the late George Irwin. Survived by her nieces Merle St. John and Barbara Griffen. The family of Dorothy MacLean will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel” 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, March 28th 7-9 p.m . A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday March 29th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Michael Bishop officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Durham Hospice, the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry or the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.

MacLENNAN, J.A. (Phil) Philip

passed away on March 27, 2006 at the age of 80 at the Providence Villa. Loving husband of Lillian. Beloved father of Charles (Susanna), Robert (Jane), William, Cheryl and Carole. Cherished grandfather of Charles and Matthew; and William, Neil and John Alec. Brother of Bay, Sadie (Wayne) and Harold. Uncle to Carole (Karl), Evelyn, Elaine, Charlene (Thomas), David and Cameron, and great uncle of Tom. Phil will also be sadly missed by his many friends including Marg and Ron Herron. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church on Thursday March 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

MACHENNAN, John Angus Philip
His life was long and filled with much love and happiness. On March 27, 2006 at 6:40 a.m. Philip Machennan entered through heaven's gates. Beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. Philip Machennan is much loved and will be missed dearly. His memory will be revered and his life celebrated by his wife Lillian Machennan, three sons, Charles, William and Robert and her daughters Cheryl and Carole Machennan. His daughter-in-law, Susanna and his grandchildren Charlie, Matthew, William, Neil and John Alec will forever cherish his memory. "Papa, you are now in God's hands . I will not mourn your passing but celebrate your life. I will see your face in every wild flower and sunset to come. Your memory lives on as each new day dawns. Beloved wife of Hugh W. Wooldridge. Loving mother of Rick Fuligno (Judy Scraba) and Bob Fuligno (Denise Kordyban). Loving stepmother to Megan (Tim Elliott) and dear Nana to Zachary and Emily Elliot. Stepmother to Tracey-Ann (Chris Corrigan). Dear sister to Elaine; Joan (Hugh Bowles); Audrey (Joe Donaldson); Lena (Tom Griffin); Lois; Tom (Roberta Ashworth) and Doug (Helen McIlvanney). Predeceased by brothers Gerry (Diane Douglas) and Kevin (Louise Hicks). Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Bill, beloved husband of Mary for over 52 years. Proud father of Dan and his wife Betsy, Tom and his wife Debbie, Bill and his wife Suzanne and Rick and his wife Donna. Died peacefully on Sunday March 26th, 2006 at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough. Jim, beloved husband and soulmate of Joyce for forty years. Loving father of Cynthia Estabrooks and her husband James, Terri Donovan, Scott Cassells and his wife Kimberly, Darlene Withers and her husband Ken and Jim Cassells and his wife Deb. Predeceased by his daughter Sharon. Grandfather of David and Michael Estabrooks, Nathan, Danielle, Alicia, Sahra, Roberta and Jason Cassells, Krista Schofield and Jeremy Garrett, Kenny, Jennifer and Brian Withers, Laura Henry and Tracey Kaarto, Great grandfather of Braeden Schofield, Courtney and Cassidy Kaarto and Mekaih and Qhaden Henry. Jim was a passionate golfer and enjoyed the many hours he spent on the golf course with Joyce and all of his wonderful friends. Jim will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends. Jim worked at General Motors until his retirement. Survived by sisters Kay, Barb and Pam, and brothers Gord, Ron, Bob, Gary and Ralph, predeceased by Dorothy, Reg and Laurie. Irene Heenan, in her 86th year, was the beloved wife for 59 wonderful years of Wallace Ellsworth (Pat) Dillman. Loving mother of Deborah and her husband Don Perrin, Danielle and her husband Doug Clarke and Dana Dillman, all of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dwayne, Dale, Douglas, Daulton, Robert, Victoria, Allison and by her great-grandchildren Noelle, Peter, Zabrina and Zachary. Dear sister of Jack Heenan and his wife Mary of Cornwall, Hilda Polito of Oshawa and Florence Cuddahee of Lindsay and predeceased by her brother Albert Heenan. FOSTER, Russell Alymer
(Chemical Engineer - Chief Engineer of Conveyor Belts at Goodyear Tire) It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Russell on Saturday March 25, 2006 in his 85th year at St. Michael's Hospital NICU after a tragic fall. Russell is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (Kay) of Whitby, his devoted daughters Diane Wainwright (Mark) of Oshawa and Susan King (Paul) of Gatineau, Quebec and his loving grandchildren Jennifer Wainwright of Belleville, Christopher Wainwright (Christine) of Oshawa and Leigh-Anne Cooke (Brian) and Adam King of Gatineau, Quebec. Russell is survived by his brother Jack Foster of Kirkfield, his sisters Thelma Westlake (Jack) of Oshawa, Barbara Cochrane (Don) of Hampton, Lois Nimigon (Steve) of Enniskillen, Jean Penfound (Lorne) of Whitby and Judy Hunt of Oshawa and is predeceased by his loving parents Evelyn & Carman Foster , his dear sister Dorothy Mesher (and husband Jack) and by his nephew Jerry Penfound. He will be sadly missed by his many many dear nieces and nephews. Russell was born in Moira, Ontario then served as a Sergeant in the Signal Corps during World War II. Upon leaving the service he attended the University of Toronto graduating in 1949 as a Chemical Engineer. Russell then joined Goodyear Tire eventually to become the Chief Engineer of Conveyor Belts until he retired. Russell was an avid golfer, curler, gardener and photographer but his number one joy was being with his family. In lieu of flowers donations in Russell's memory may be directed to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre or to the Charity of one's choice

passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Don (Gail). Cherished grandmother of Jim (Karen), Cathy (Moe), Kimberly (Gary), Ian (Shawna), Melissa (Art), Dianna (Dan), Mike (Julie), Stephanie (Scott) and great-grandmother of Joshua, Jesse, A.J., Devon, Amy, Aidan, Morgan, Conner, Kayla, Madeline and Jackson. Sister of Gwen (Bill). Flo will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends.
