Entered into rest at the Bon Air Nursing Home in Cannington, on Friday March 24th, 2006. Nellie Caroline Bagshaw, in her 89th year, was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Lloyd (1982). Loving mother of Mary & Peter Robinson of Oshawa, John & Sandra Lloyd of Oakwood, Jim & Yolanda Lloyd of Hampton and Ralph & Joanne Lloyd of Woodville. Dearly remembered by grandchildren Laurie Ann & Kary Wheeler, Darryl, Jessica, Scott, Donna, Missy, Elaine, Blair and Jeannette. HALTON, Douglas Eric
January 28, 1916 - March 23, 2006Douglas Eric Halton passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at Fairview Lodge, Whitby on the afternoon of March 23rd, 2006, in his 91st year. Doug was a decorated WWII Veteran having served with the British Army (Essex Yeomanry, Royal Artillery and Indian Airborne Division) in Europe, the Middle East, and India. 'Eric' arrived in Canada in 1954 with his wife Gwen and family and was employed at Shore Gas, Consumers Gas and the Durham Board of Education. Douglas was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Gwendoline May Halton (Bailey). He is survived by his sister Kitty Gould of Stratford. His immediate family of five sons consists of: Allan and his wife Sherillyn (Law), and grandchildren Robin, Ryan and Tracy of Whitby and Tara Bottan (Brian) of Thunder Bay; Barry of Tweed; David and his wife Linda (Edwards) of Whitby, and grandchildren Phillip (Stephanie) and great-grandchildren Lily and Lief of Toronto, granddaughter Heather Thompson (Jason) and great-granddaughter Paige of Brooklin; Ronald and his wife Carol (Sutton), and grandchildren Dawn and Colin of Fenelon Falls; Terry of Whitby. Douglas will be fondly remembered by longtime friend Stu McLerie of Oshawa and family and friends in England, New Zealand and U.S.A. (Wisconsin).
