GIBSON, Clarence Arthur
passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer in his 84th year at Lakeridge Health-Whitby. Predeceased by his wife Jean Evelyn Gibson (nee Umphrey). Will be deeply missed by Sharon McLaren and husband Rod. Loving father of the late Sandra Noreen and the late Judith Jean. Clarence is survived by his sister Gwen Hughes (Harold), his brother Ken Gibson (Freya) and his sister Muriel Carrigan (Bob). Clarence was predeceased by his brother Reg and sister Reta. Clarence will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, Greg Fortnum, Tara Fortnum, David Clarke, Lisa Singleton and husband Chris, Ashleigh McLaren, Adrienne McLaren and Ro, Scott McLaren, many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
GARRISON, Terrance
After a dignified and courageous fight with cancer, while surrounded by loving family members, Terry passed away on Saturday March 4, 2006 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Terry was 64 years young. Loving companion to Linda Lindsey. Dear son of Douglas and the late Margaret Garrison. Loving father to his many children, Derek and his wife Stephanie, Leona and her husband John, Lesley, Robby and his wife Ashley, Katrina and her husband Shane, Lisa and Chris. He was a loving grandfather and papa to Desiree, Chelsie, Taylor, Amber, Shyanne, Chassadie, Dawson, and Dustin. Loving brother to Ronnie and his wife Heather, Brian, Carmin and his wife Sue, Tim and his wife Carla, and Donna and her husband Gord. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday March 8, 2006 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations in Terrance s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday March 4, 2006, Walter Harold Thompson in his 69th year. Dear son of the late Harold and Edna Thompson. Beloved husband of Lucieanna (nee DeMaeyer). Loving father of Kim Thompson (Steve Curtis) and Jo-Anne Vickerman (Tom). Dear step father of Wendy Smith (Andy Kincaid), Sherrie Maize (Rick), Debbie Wells, Cathy Trepanier (Ken) and Bill Wells (Melody). Lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Walter will be sadly missed by his mother in law Theresa DeMaeyer, his extended family and close friends. Beloved son of Ann Gilbert and stepson of the late Murray Gilbert. Loving best friend and companion of Debi. Dear brother of Bonnie and her husband Hugh, and step-brother of Marlene Roberts, Rick Gilbert, Janet Gudgeon, and the late Sharon Hughes. Special grandson of the late Eric and Margaret Burton.
