Peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Fairview Lodge in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late William Bradey Irvine. Loving mother of Robert (Darlene) Irvine of Oshawa and Jannette (Alistair) McKean of Whitby. Cherished "Granny" to Stewart, Billy, Ryan (Lorrie), Scott (Kella), Shirley, Karyne (Robbie) and Jennifer. Barbara is predeceased by her sons and daughters: Billy, Edith, Barbara and Stewart. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Wednesday, June 13th, 2007 at the age of 68. Dearly beloved husband of Faye for over 46 years. passed away peacefully on June 12, 2007 in her 93rd year with her family present. Predeceased by her loving husband Arnold, brother Alan and his wife Phyllis, parents Wellington and Phoebe Detenbeck and grandson Darrin. Survived by daughter Jan Cosburn (Doug), and sons Chris (Ellie) Dave (Janey) and Laurie. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Randy, Leslie, Shaun, Kyla, Brynn, Dave and Mark plus 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered, our Mommy Jo (Mo) will remain in our hearts always. The family sincerely thank the staff of Walnut Grove and Dr. Irwin for their uncompromising care and attention. Age 25 Years. Died tragically in Afghanistan while serving his country. He is the beloved son of Darlene Cushman & Chris Walsh and Paul & Christine Caswell. Lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends. Darryl was a member of the Royal Canadian Dragoons and will be sadly missed by his colleagues.

Pat Johnson, cherished wife and best friend of Edward Johnson for 53 years, passed away peacefully on her 73rd birthday, June 10th, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Youngest daughter of the late William and Flossie Dodwell. Mother of sons Kevin (Lynn) and Rob (Kim). Greatly missed and loved by granddaughters Melanie, Courtney, Cassidy and Kyla. Sister to Barbara (George) Page, Oshawa; Shirley (Paul) Sobil, Taunton Rd. E.; and Bill (Kay) Dodwell, Bobcaygeon. Sister-in-law to Olga and the late Morley Johnson, the late Howard Johnson, Bernice and the late Lloyd Webster, Shirley and George MacGregor and Wayne and Pat Johnson. Zion United Church was the centre of Pat s faith. She sang in the choir; active with her husband Ed in the Happy Gang ; secretary of the Anne Reed Unit of Zion United Church Women. She will be remembered for her efficient manner at Zion United Church caterings. She loved to go to the hunting camp to fish, walking with Rosie and Ed in the Enniskillen Conservation Park and cross-country skiing. She will be remembered for her service in Pebblestone Golf Course pro shop for many years. Worked in the Traffic Department at General Motors office from 1950 1961. A service to celebrate her life will be held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, June 14th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Interment at Zion United Church Cemetery. An avid car enthusiast and active member of the Durham Eastenders British Car Club, still driving his MG. He will be sadly missed by all.
