ZACHOW, FLORENCE went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2003 at the age of 90. Survived by her loving family: Ken (Karen) Zachow, Glenda (Vince) Weigel, Carolyn (James) Swallow, Gloria (Joe) Grant, Don (Diane) Zachow, Patricia Zachow (Brian), 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. Sadly predeceased by her husband, one son, two grandsons and 12 brothers and sisters. SCOTT, HAROLD: On January 13, 2003 Harold Scott passed away at the age of 83 years. Harold is survived by his wife Daisy (Fern) and their children Richard, Keith (Bev), Philip (Kathy), Gerald (Andree), Pamela and Charles (Ann); 15 grandchildren, other relatives and his many friends. A Celebration of Harold's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park. Volk (Reggin), Clara Madelene: July 07, 1922 - January 13, 2003. passed away peacefully in her easy chair at home in Kelowna, January 13, 2003. Predeceased by her husband Leonard Volk, October 12, 1986, her brothers Lawrence, Jim and Pete, mother Mrs. Kate Jensen of Nelson and one son Lenny. Mom was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter E. Reggin of Baynes Lake, B.C. Peter was a veteran of the NWMP and served in Maple Creek, SK and his wife Mary Fussee was from a pioneer family near Simcoe, ON. Her surviving children are John (Mary) of Cranbrook, Ron (Kathy) of Oyama, Darlene (Wayne) of Kelowna, Reg (Doreen) of Kelowna, Judi (Larry) of Williams Lake, Ken (Gundi) of Kelowna, Karen (Bruce) of Medicine Hat, Sylvia Noel of Kelowna, B.C. She greatly enjoyed the company of 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and had a wonderful collection of family pictures. She recently celebrated her 80th birthday with family and friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Volk and looked forward to the marriage of her youngest daughter Karen in May of this year. Mom was happiest caring for her children, cooking and trying new recipes. She enjoyed crafts and made many delightful Christmas decorations over the years. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2003 from the Chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna. Wadeson, Rosemarie: passed away peacefully on January 12, 2003 at Westside Care Home at the age of 93 years. She is survived by two daughters Sheila (Larry) Gonzales of Lubbock, TX; Margot Graham of Sechelt, B.C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. McIntosh: Dr. Alan McIntosh passed away peacefully on January 15th, two days after his 80th birthday. Alan was born in 1923 in Shelbrook, Saskatchewan. Alan was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Pat in 1984. He was also predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, his mother and father, and special friend Walter Pyle. He is survived by his sister Lois (Gerry), his sons Doug (Nancy), Larry (Janice), Rob (Sheila), Cam (Patty), daughter Sheila, and eleven grandchildren: Jamie (Jen), Lisa (David), Heather, Kate, Riley, Scott, Hayley, Brendan, Kelyn, Bryce, & Hayden. Alan and Pat were marriage in 1948 and he received his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1954. Alan spent 1 year in Melfort, Saskatchewan and 5 years in Rockglen, Saskatchewan practicing medicine. Alan and Pat moved their family to Kelowna in 1959, where he joined the Underhill Clinic and practiced family medicine and anesthesia. Alan practiced medicine in Kelowna for over 30 years. He considered his patients part of his extended family. They loved the Okanagan, and enjoyed all that the area could offer. He especially enjoyed his sunny afternoons at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club and the many enjoyable days he spent with friends a Tribal Bay. His family would like to sincerely thank Alan's friends and the staff at David Lloyd Jones home who have also become part of Alan's extended family. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Centre of the Southern Interior or the David Lloyd Jones Home would be gratefully accepted. Special thanks goes to the staff of David Lloyd Jones and all his special friends for their care and love. Alan was truly blessed by family and friends that loved him.

McIver, David Richard: passed away peacefully in the Kelowna General Hospital on January 15th, 2003 at the age of 53 years. Survived by his loving family, parents Barry and Trudy McIver, sister Pat (Dave), brother Bryan, sister in-law Carol, nephews Shaun and Kevin, his Uncle and Aunt Roger and Pat Arcand, Uncle Sam Turney and many cousins. He will be missed by many friends far and near. SCHINKEL, ARLENE (RADOMSKE) passed away suddenly January 13, 2003. She celebrated her 75th birthday in September with her family. She was born in Freewater, Oregon. Her farming family moved to Trochu, Alberta and then on to the Okanagan, finally settling in Kelowna. She had a job in Johnston's Food Market until she met Ervin and marriage him in 1951. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2001 and had a wonderful time with many family members and friends. They went South every winter, enjoying the sun and friends and time spent there. Arlene was a wonderful cook and her love of baking has been passed on to her daughter and one of her granddaughters. She loved to knit and crochet and made many lovely afghans over the years. Arlene was very faithful in praying for all her family members daily and is having a wonderful reunion with those who have gone ahead of her to heaven. RIP means 'Rejoicing In Paradise!' She will be dearly missed by her husband, Ervin, and daughter, Terry (Bob) and 3 granddaughters, Catherine, Michelle and Margie. She has one surviving sister, Hilda (Ted) Tetz of Three Hills, Alberta, and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the CGH. TILTON, VICTORIA M. Born on May 6, 1929, passed away peacefully in Kelowna on January 15, 2003.
