Age 86 years. (Formerly of Wilmot Creek) passed away peacefully in her sleep at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday August 22nd 2007. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Nisbet. She is survived by her nieces Josie & her husband Alex McGill and Mery Magee also by her nephews Billie & his wife Nan Magee and John Magee. In accordance with Isabella s wishes cremation has already taken place. Those wishing to honour her memory may do so by making a donation to the Charity of your choice. Loving grandmother of William Edward Ross, Barry Paul Ross and Tammy, Jen and David Davies, Mindy and Darrell Petts, Dave Gainey, Mason L.J. Racine, Arianna Christine Racine and great-grandmother of Cody, David, Daniel, Ronnie and Brooke-Lynn. Survived by her sister Jenny Wade of Washburn Island. Lawrence was a long time Oshawa resident, respected businessman (Home Appliances Ltd.), active parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church, active community volunteer and a past president of the Oshawa Lawn Bowling Club. Cherished mother of Ann, and mother-in-law of Chris Billy. Dearest nanny of Brendon and Stephanie. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the daughter of the late Roy Russell, and Clara Smith Russell. Predeceased by her husband Frank, her brothers Melbourne and Stuart, and sisters Eileen, Margaret, and Kathleen. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor at Rouge Valley Ajax-Pickering Hospital. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church (1001 Ravenscroft Rd., Ajax) on Thursday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Theresa's body will be flying home to Nova Scotia for burial at a later date.
