Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday August 13, 2007 at the age of 68. Michael, beloved husband of Carol Lalonde. Father of Mark Lucas, and stepfather of Melody Anthony, and Tina Lalonde and her husband Andy Jakob. Loving Papa of Simone and Yvonne. Dear brother of Pat and her husband Bob Elliot, and Paul Lucas and his wife Mary. Fondly remembered and missed by his many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 10 am to 11am Saturday. Service in the Chapel on Saturday August 18, 2007 at 11am. Interment, Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. RUHL, Chris
passed away peacefully at the Port Perry Community Hospital on Monday August 13, 2007. In his 86th year. Beloved husband of Johanna for 55 years. Dear father of Bill and his wife Lynda, Peggy and her husband Will Burke, Tina and her husband David Martin, Bert Ruhl and his wife Sarah Cowley, Chris Ruhl and his wife Claire Hart-Ruhl. Proud Opa of Zachary, Myles, Melinda, Amber, Jonathon, Jeremy, Monique, Breanne and Alise. Survived by his brothers and sisters in Holland. Many thanks to Dr. Steven Russell and the nurses and staff at the Port Perry Community Hospital for their kind care. passed away peacefully at the Ajax Pickering Hospital surrounded by her loving family on August 12, 2007 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Robert, beloved mother of Linda and dear sister of Margaret, Kenneth Ross (Allison) Wager and the late John Wager. She is survived by her sister in law Ellen. Loving father of Michael and Lindsay MacLean. Loving step son of Gordon Bell, and son of the late John MacLean and the late Joyce Bell (nee Kerr). Dear son in law of Mildred and Patrick Walker of Stroud and the late Arthur Lowther. Dear brother of Kathy and her husband Ken McConnell, and Laurie and her husband Cameron Mitchell. Uncle Rob will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his beloved dog Ricky Private family funeral service was held. Father of Jamie and the late Roy. Survived by his sister Greta Drinkle and brothers Gerald (Dorreen), Thomas (Norma) and Donald (Donna). Predeceased by sisters Betty, Mary, Edith, Nora and his brother William. Also survived by brother-in-law Gil DePratto. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and good friends at bingo. As per James request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. James final resting place will be with his wife in Holyrood, Newfoundland.
