FOX, LEWIS B. (LEW) on January 29, 2003 at Brookhaven Extended Care, age 75 years. Lew is survived by his wife Sheila; sons: Bruce (Lucille), Brad (Susan) and Blair (Karen); grandchildren: Graham, Hilary, Jeffrey, Michael, Cameron and Haley. Longtime member of A.C.T., past commodore, Westbank Yacht Club and longtime volunteer with Heart & Stroke. His early years were spent in radio, and he was CKNW's first all night record man. Special thanks to Dr.'s Wickstrom and Swart and all the staff at Brookhaven for their loving care of Lew and his family. PERRY, PEARL E. On Wednesday, January 22, 2003 Mrs. Pearl E. Perry of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 89 years. Pearl is lovingly survived by her daughter: Shirley Rourke of Cold Lake, AB; son: Les (Skinny) Tennant of Toronto, ON; five step-children: Joseph (Cathy) Perry of Brandon, MB, Eugene (Marte) Perry of Winnipeg, MB, James (Jackie) Perry of Westbank, BC, Ernie (Darlene) Perry of Burnaby, BC, Gloria Turner of Winnipeg, MB; 23 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. BOSLEY, ELMER JOSEPH: passed away peacefully on January 29, 2003, at the age of 62 years, in Vernon Jubilee Hospital with his daughter, son and brother by his side. MCLAUGHLAN, A.T. 'TOMMY' of Peachland, BC, died on January 29, 2003 at Brookhaven Care Centre, at 81 years of age. Born in Peachland on December 2, 1921, Tommy was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, (Branch 69, Peachland). He enjoyed playing the guitar, country/western and bluegrass music and was fond of horses, especially in his youth. He was a kind man with a generous and optimistic nature. A Celebration of Tommy's Life will be held at Legion Br. 69 (Peachland), at a date and time to be announced. The family would appreciate donations to the BC Kidney Foundation. ADAM, ETTIE VIOLA (CLEMENT) born in Kelowna July 3, 1905 passed away at Kelowna General Hospital Thursday, February 06, 2003 at the age of 97 years. Boehlke, Pearl Olive: passed away on February 4, 2003. She was born October 22, 1913 in Castor, Alta and was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Julius Daniel (Jim). Olive is survived by three brothers, Earl (Elsie) of Craigmyle, Alta, Bill (Augusta) of Creston, B.C., Harvey of Red Deer, Alta. and her loving children, son Vern (Alice) of Kelowna and daughter Velma of Vancouver, her grandchildren; Wes, Erin, Debbie and Cheryl, her great grandchildren; Josh, Jordan, Eli, Chiara, Noah, Madison, Danika, Ashley, Branden and Christine. TODD, CLIFFORD PARKER passed away peacefully at Lake Country Lodge, Winfield on Jan. 29, 2003 at the age of 92 years. He will be sadly missed by his friends and caregivers and by his family. He leaves seven children, eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. There will be no funeral at his request. His zest in life was his love of repairing Swiss watches and clocks which he trained for at an early age. Predeceased by his loving wife Eugenia in 1992. Survived by his niece Judy Staton of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews in Poland. PRICE, SPENCER DAVID: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Spencer David Price . Spencer died peacefully in the presence of family on February 4, 2003 at the age of 88 years. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and his loving family: his wife of 66 years, Mary; his children, David (Alice) Price of West Vancouver, and Maryann Fiske of Kelowna; his grandchildren, Dianna Price of Toronto, Sandra (Steven) James of Bermuda, John (Tiffany) Price of Vancouver, Cheryl Fiske of Kelowna, and Andrea (Simon) Macleod of Vancouver; and his great-grandchildren, Lleyton James and Jack Price . He is also survived by two brothers: Ivor, of Vernon, and Clarence, of Kelowna. Spencer was a long time resident of East Kelowna. An orchardist for over 40 years, he became a skilled craftsman of gold and silver jewelry in his retirement. Spencer adored the community in which he lived, and was fortunate to spend the days leading up to his illness on the farm he cherished. At Spencer's request, there will be no service; however, friends are invited to join the family for a small celebration of his life on Sunday, February 16 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the family farm in East Kelowna.
