BENBOW, Audrey Marion(nee Hollis) Suddenly in Kingston, Ontario on Saturday, March 5, 2005. Audrey was educated at Bishop Strachan School, Toronto ON, Queen's University, Kingston ON and Tulane University, New Orleans LA. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Julian Benbow, her son Michael Laurie, daughters Sandra Appleton, Deirdre Laurie-Beaumont and Catherine Benbow Plewes, her eight grandchildren and also by her sister Kalyn Allward. She was predeceased by her son Jonathan and her first husband, Dr. John Laurie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church (4333 Bath Road) Kingston on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 11:00am. lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Kingston (36 Barrie Street, Kingston ON, K7L 3J7) or the charity of your choice, in Mrs. Benbow's memory.

BENNETT, Catherine "Kay" (nee Gillis) Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, January 22, 2005, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Arch Bennett and dear mother ofJoan Danis and her husband John of Kingston, Mildred Argue and her husband Bob of Brighton and Kim Treleaven and her husband Jeff McCord, also of Kingston. Dear sister of Steve Gillis of Edmonton, Alberta. Proud Nana of Lori, Rhonda, John and Nicole and Great Nana of Terry, Ryan, Michelle, Taylor, Zoe, Owen and Zachary. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. In keeping with Catherine's wishes, cremation will be immediate. A celebration of Catherine's life will be held in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Tuesday January 25, 2005 at 4 pm, with a reception to follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. Loving mother of Bill (Cathy) and Anne Spada (Alvin). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Susan, Robert, David and Lesley; great-grandchildren Laura and Christine. Survived by her sisters-in-law Mary Robinson and Hazel Horne. Predeceased by her brothers Bruce, Reg, Alan and Bill. Margaret graduated from the KGH Nursing Program (1936), was the President of the Medical Wives, President of the Womens Aid (KGH Auxillary) and a Life Member, Member of the KGH Board of Governors, President of the Ladies Section of the Kingston Curling Club and a Life Member. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 2 pm, followed by cremation. Friends will be received from on Tuesday from 1pm until the service time. BROWN, Wilmer John "Mike" WW II Veteran - Royal Rifles of Canada Born on Amherst Island on August 23, 1916, died at Fairfield Manor West, Kingston on February 25, 2005. Mike is predeceased by his beloved wife Jean, his brother Stewart and his sister Ida Mack. He is survived by his dear sister Janie McCaugherty and his sister-in-law Joan Brown of Trenton. In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation will be immediate. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Survived by wife Margery Thompson and children Ken (Donna), Helen Hachey (Jim), Valerie Burgess (Jack) all of Kingston and Sheila Pennell (Doug) of Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON. Predeceased by wife Orpha Deyo and youngest daughter Elaine Marie. Survived by sister Hester Hobday, sister Doreen Whitehead and brother Ray all of New Brunswick. Always remembered by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral arrangements in care of the James Reid Funeral Home Cataraqui Chapel. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation will be immediate. Len was a loving Opa to Will, Caroline and Charlotte Gurnsey, Lillie Yatco and Jamie Daughtrey. Len is predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Lawrence Freeman, brothers Ken and Tom, sisters Alice, Winnifred, Eva and Dorothy. He is survived by his brother Don and sisters-in-law Mary and Marjorie Freeman. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law Wally (Fran Brumm) and Robert Adam. Len proudly served his country as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for thirty-five years, after joining as a Boy Soldier at the age of seventeen. He retired from the service as Regimental Quartermaster at the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario in 1978. GURNSEY, Audrey (NEE NILES) Peacefully with her family and friends by her side on Tuesday February 15th at the age of 74. Audrey (nee Niles) was always there with a hug and kiss. Known as Nana to everyone in the community, church, Elginburg School, family and friends. She was a wonderful person with youthful energy and was a great confidant. All who knew her will miss her sense of humour and her abounding love for family and friends. Born December 28, 1930 on Wolfe Island Ontario, to Lillian and Howard Niles both deceased. Audrey was a great mother, Nana, Great Nana and friend and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Loving mother of Niles of Newmarket and Melinda Tucker(nee Gurnsey) of Elginburg. Predeceased by son Ian and daughter Gail. The best Nana to Liza(Corey), Adriane, Kris, Erik, Andrew and Selin. Great Nana to Noah and Alexis.
