Née le 12 novembre 1932 à Moncton, elle était la fille de feu François Arsenault et de feu Rose-Elva Bernard.
Elle laisse dans le deuil deux fils: Maurice (Louise) et Donald de Moncton; deux soeurs: Jeannette Arsenault et Bernice Fogarty (William) de Moncton; une belle-fille Marlene; deux petits-enfants: Julien et Stephanie.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon funéraire Frenette, 88, rue Church à Moncton (858-1900). Les funérailles auront lieu le lundi 4 août 2003 à 10h30 en l'église N.-D.-de-Grâce à Moncton. L'inhumation sera dans le cimetière N.-D.-du-Calvaire à Dieppe.
A la demande de la famille, un don à l'Institut Nationale Canadienne des Aveugles (INCA) serait apprécié.
Heures de visite: le dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h, le lundi dès 9h30 jusuqu'à l'heure du départ (10h15).
Sophie Hachey
May 10, 1914 - July 31, 2003
Sophie Hachey, 89, wife of the late Yvon Hachey, of Providence Street, Shediac passed away Thursday July 31, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born May 10, 1914 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas, and Eugénie (Belliveau) Cormier.
She is survived by a niece Bernice Cormier of Scoudouc, and seven
nephews.
Besides her husband, she's also predeceased by her sisters, Geneva, Lydia; brothers:
Amedée, Philippe, and Aurèle. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396, Main Street, Shediac
(532-3297). Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., Monday
from 10a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be
held at 11 a.m. Monday August 4, 2003 at St-Joseph R.C. Church,
Shediac. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery.
At the request of the family, memorial donations to the St-Joseph Cemetery or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
Laurie 'Corny ' Maillet
June 3, 1929 - August 5, 2003
Laurie ' Corny ' Maillet, 74, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Mansfeild St. Moncton passed away Tuesday August, 5, 2003 at the residence.
Born in Lewisville he was the son of the late Albert Maillet and the late Lucie O'Brien.
He is survived by a sister: Viola Leblanc ( Raymond ) of Toronto; three brothers: Léo ( Florence ), Yvon ( Carole ), Clarence ( Joan ) all of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he is also predeceased by his wife Roberta Robichaud; sisters: Lucille, Simonne; brothers: René and Roméo
A private Chapel service was held at Frenette Funeral Home 88 Church, St. Moncton ( 858-1900 ). Interment was in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
Emery Leblanc
1916-2008
Emery Leblanc, 91 of Grand-Barachois passed away on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness.
Born December 12, 1916 in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of the late Philias and Exelda (Cormier) Leblanc. Emery was a retired carpenter and a member of the Grand-Barachois Club d'âge d'or.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 61 years, Laura (Lirette) Leblanc, five daughters: Murielle Richard-Bourque (Noël) of Haute-Aboujagane, Simone Leblanc (Pierre Dubuc) of Ste-Foy, QC, Jeanne Leblanc (Charles Forest) of Grand-Barachois, Louise Leblanc of Edmonton, AB, Rina Cassidy (Ben) of Shediac; three sons: Robert and Roland both of Grand-Barachois, Marc (Pauline) of Edmonton, AB; twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother Adrice and by three sisters: Émilia, Julianne, and Lina.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:40 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Saint-Henri R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital Cardiac Unit or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
Léandre Brun
May 15, 1925 - August 6, 2003
Grand-Barachois-Mr. Léandre Brun, 78, of Grand-Barachois passed awayon Wednesday August 6, 2003 at his residence following a brief illness.
Born in Barachois, he was the son of the late Philippe Brun and the late Élodie Lirette. He was a carpenter by trade.
Léandre will be sadly missed by his family, wife Juliette (Vautour) Brun,daughters Thérèse Léger(Yves)of Grand-Barachois, Ginette Boudreau (Yves)of Boudreau West; sons, Ernest (Rolande), Eddie (Suzanne), Françis (Mona)and Fernand (Joceline) all of Grand-Barachois; sisters, Ella Doiron of Shediac,Florine
(John) of Grand-Barachois , Gilberte ( Carl ) of Sarnia Ontario; brothers, Alphonse of Cap Pelé, Aurèle of Niagra Falls ONT, Jean-Baptiste of Grand-Barachois ,Gérard ( Simone ) of Edmonton ALB, eleven grandchildren: Shelley, Kevin, Martin, Mario, Christine, Stéphane, Janique, Janie, Rémi, Justin, Nicholas.
He was predeceased by three sisters: Exeline, Bertha, Yvonne and one brother Camille .
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. No Visitation the day of the funeral Mass. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday August 8, 2003 at St. Henri R.C. Church in Grand-Barachois. Interment in the parish Cemetery.
In his memory, donations may be made to Shediac Hospice or the Extra-Mural Hospital in Shediac.
Jeanne Surette
1914-2008
Jeanne Surette, 93, wife of the late Calixte Surette of Dorchester Crossing passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 3, 2008.
Born August 8, 1914 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe Cormier and the late Isabelle Goguen.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Carmella Gallant of Shediac River, Rachael Geneau (Freeman) of Scoudouc and Jocelyn Wallace (Randall) of Shediac; four sons: Ronald (Juliette) of Shediac Cape, Léonard (Claudette) of Shediac, Jean Edouard (Raymonde) of Napierville, Québec, and George (Francine) of Lloydminster, Alberta; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Calixte (1982), she was predeceased by three sisters: Winnifred, Lorette and Gilberte, and by a brother Joffre.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 7 to 9p.m. only. There will be no visiting hours on Saturday. Funeral mass will be held at Saint-Joseph R.C. church, Shediac on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery.
If so desired, donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of N. B. would be appreciated by the family.
Lionel "Len" Roy
1938-2008
Lionel "Len" Roy, 70, of Dieppe, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness.
Born March 27, 1938 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Delphis and Madeleine (Gautreau) Roy (Jan. 2008).
He was proprietor of LenRoy Tours.
He is survived by his wife, Dorine (Boucher) Roy; four children: Diane of Dieppe, Richard of Montreal, Anise Lawson (Chris) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent, and Robert of Shediac River; 2 grandchildren: Stephane and Jessica; two great-grandchildren: Kayla and Madison; his brothers and sisters: Cliff (Louise), Anita Sirois (Paul-Émile), Gérard "Jr.", Georges (Jeannette), Lydia Green (William), Gérald (Delia), Raymond "Pete" (Mireille), Rita Caissie (Robert), many nieces, and nephews.
No visitation by request. The funeral mass will be held at N.-D.-de-Grâce R.C. Church (Parkton) on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

Doris Petitpas, 79, of Résidence Beau Séjour, Shediac and formerly of Gallagher St., Shediac, passed away in on Tuesday August 12, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Haute-Aboujagane, March 2, 1924, she was the Daughter of the late Ovila Boudreau and the late Exelda Melanson. She was an employee with the Villa Providence prior to her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by her son Ronald and his wife Denise, her two grand sons Daniel and Richard all of Shediac; three sisters: Marie Doiron ( Roger) of Cap Pelé, Bernadette Belliveau ( Fred ) and Andréa Leblanc ( Lévi ) all of Haute-Aboujagane; four brothers: Euclide ( Yvette ) of Petit-Cape, Albertin(
Exelda) of Cap Pelé, Donald of Grand-Barachois, Fernando (Rose-Marie) of Haute-Aboujagane and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband George Petitpas; a sister: Florida; brothers: Gérald, Alfred, Laurie, and Noel
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home 396 Main St. Shediac ( 532-3297 ) with visitation on Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m., on Thursday 10 a.m. until time of departure 10;45 a.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church in Shediac on Thursday August 14, 2003 at 11 a.m.
Interment in the parish Cemetery.

A l'Hôpital régional Dr Georges-L. Dumont de Moncton, le dimanche 10 aôut 2003, à l'âge de 80 ans, est décédée Loretta Melanson, domiciliée au Manoir Notre-Dame.
Née le 8 novembre 1922 à Moncton, elle était la fille de feu Arthur Melanson et feu Marie-Thérèse Leblanc.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses cinq soeurs: Lucie Ryan, Elisa Mainville (Paul), Freda Melanson et Hermance Melanson toutes de Moncton, Anna Leblanc de Dieppe, plusieurs nièces et neveux.Elle est prcécédé dans la tombe par deux frères Raymond, Emerie et par une soeur Joanne.
La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon funéraire Frenette, 88, rue Church à Moncton (858-1900). Les funérailles auront lieu le mercredi 13 aôut 2003 à 10h30 en église Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix à Moncton. L'inhumation sera dans le cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe.

Au Centre des Anciens Combattants à Moncton, le mardi 12 août 2003, à l'âge de 83 ans, est décédé Emery J. Gaudet, domicilié au Centre mais autrefois de la rue Archibald.
Né le 22 novembre 1919 à Shédiac Bridge, il était le fils de feu Denis Gaudet et de feu Emma Richard.
Il laisse dans le deuil une soeur Evangeline Angotti d'Edmonton, AB, un frère Dollar de Toronto, plusieurs nièces et neveux.
Il est précédé dans la tombe par son épouse Eva (Leblanc) Gaudet en 1997.
La dépouille mortelle ne sera pas exposée. Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 15 août 2003 à 14h en la Cathédrale N.-D.-de-l'Assomption à Moncton. L' inhumation sera Memramcook.

Shediac-Paul-Émile Landry, 59, of Scoudouc Road passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Regional Dumont Hospital.
Born in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of Edmond Landry and Annie Leblanc. He was employed with Coastal Flooring & Wall 1992 Ltd. for 12 years.
Besides his parents Edmond and Annie (Leblanc) Landry of Cap-Pelé, he is survived by his wife Bernice (Brun) Landry, four daughters: Jeannette Belliveau (Terry), Janice Gallant (Albert Jr.) of Shediac, Monique Landry and Danielle Gallant (Marc) of Scoudouc; four sisters: Anna Brun (Henri) of Cap-Pelé, Diane Landry (Alyre) of Shemogue, Jeanne Anderson (Robert) of Sackville, Marie Goguen (Ronald) of Grand-Barachois; one brother Clovis Landry of Cap-Pelé, seven grandchildren: Daniel, Pierre, Luc, Stéphanie, Joshua, Nicholas, Jenna and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers: Gérard, Clorice, Alfred and Gérard Landry.
