Leo Clarence Fenton
October 16, 1913 - January 22, 2001
Mr. Leo Clarence Fenton, of Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly of Sussex Corner, N.B., passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on January 22, 2001, born in Millstream, NB. on October 16, 1913, he was the son of the late Patrick and Sadie (Rilley) Fenton.he was the beloved husband of the late Regina Mary "Jean" (Doyle) Fenton who passed away in 1993.
Leo is survived by his daughters, Evelyn Cummings and her husband Eugene of Norton, Shirley McKnight and her husband Charles of Berwick Road, and his sons, Bernard and his wife Marion of Carsonville and Paul of Sussex 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by 2 brothers, Leonard and Joe and by 3 sisters, Theresa, Alice and Mary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 7-9 pm at Wallace Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Phillips RC Church on Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 10:00 am, with Fr. Peter Bagley officiating. Interment at St. Phillips Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the committal at the home of Bernard Fenton.
Donations made to Alzheimer Society or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.

Joyce E. Beach

Mrs. Joyce E. Beach, of Coles Island, New Brunswick, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on January 22, 2001, born in Sussex, NB on October 04, 1953,
she was the daughter of the late James Otto and Essie Marie (Fletcher) Evans.
She is survived by her beloved husband Delbert Beach, her daughter Tara at home her son Trevor and his wife Jennifer of French Village,3 brothers Fraser Evans and his wife Irene of Coles Island, Bev Evans of Moncton, Fletcher Evans and his wife Linda of Coles Island6 sisters Marjorie Campbell of Coles Island, Patricia McIntyre and her husband Raymond of Coles Island, Charlene Perry and her husband Roy of Havelock, Gloria Ryder and her husband Cecil of Cherryvale, Norma Perry and her husband Ernest of Forks Stream several nieces and nephews

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 at Coles Island Pentecostal Church. Funeral Service will be held from Coles Island Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 25, 2001 at 2:00 pm, with Randy Croizier and Jason McCormick officiating. Interment will be at Coles Island Cemetery in the spring. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the service at the Coles Island Lions Club.

Jim Stone
Jim Stone of Picadilly, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 14, 2003 at the age of 36. Born in Corner Brook, NFLD on July 29, 1966, he was the son of Benjamin and June (Stuckless) Stone of Corner Brook. Besides his parents, Jim is survived by his wife and best friend Liz, 4 brothers; Ben and his wife Jennifer of Corner Brook, Roy and his wife Chris of Kentville, NS, Doug and his wife Lorraine of Corner Brook, Bill and his wife Vonnie of Toronto, 6 sisters; Mary Coates and her husband Len of Bonnieville, Alberta, June Woods and her husband Bob of Ontario, Linda Butt and her husband Les of Corner Brook, Dorothy Batt and her husband Byron of Fort McMurray, Terry Stone of Sussex, Shirley Strickland and her husband Don of NFLD, Gail and her husband Al of Charlottetown, his sister-in-law, Colleen McQuinn and her husband Dave of Picadilly, 2 brothers- in- law Murray Doucette and his wife Tammy of Kingston, Ont, Bob Doucette and his fianc e Stephanie Hovey of Saint John, his father-in-law, Bert Doucette of Corner Brook, his mother-in-law, Billie Ross and her husband Donnie of Norton, Jim s two Angels Ocean-Leigh, and Adena of Sussex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Jim s request there will be no visitation. A casual Tribute of Remembrance will be held at Wallace Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2003 at 7:00 pm.

Walter Joseph Steeves
Walter Joseph Steeves of Brookview Trailer Park, Sussex Corner, NB, passed away at his residence on Tuesday June 3, 2003 at the age of 84. Born in Elgin, Albert County, NB on April 28, 1919, he was the son of the late Walter David Steeves and Nina Vivian (Graves).
He is survived by his beloved wife Alma Lillian (Martin) Steeves, his daughter, Mary Doherty and her husband Dave of Mount Middleton, NB, 2 sisters, Shirley Ritchie of Riverview, Norma Collier and her husband Gerald of Boston, his uncle, Evans Steeves of Elgin, 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Dennis and Becky, 3 great grandchildren: Matthew, Abby and Emily, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Walter was predeceased by 2 sons, Gary and Ronnie and 2 sisters, Velma and Loison.

Murray Allan Raymond
Murray Allan Raymond, of Searsville, passed away unexpectedly, on August 3, 2003, at the age of 38 years.
Born in Sussex, NB on May 4, 1965, he was the son of Arthur Albert and Laurine Joan (Smith) Raymond.
Murray is survived by his parents, 3 sisters, Joan and Frank Gleboff of British Columbia, Linda Raymond-Hagen and Nevin of Alberta, Carole of Ontario, 6 brothers, Kennie of Searsville, Gordie and Allyson of Searsville, Kevin and Kelly of Parleeville, Doug and Tracy of Searsville, Glen and Diana of Salisbury, Jamie and Guylaine of Belleisle, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Murray graduated from Belleisle Regional High School in 1984. During Murray s lifetime he worked at farming, logging, mining and trucking. Murray's favorite past time was driving his Harley and looking for his lady love!! Murray always had time for Family and Friends and was noted for his easy smile and jolly laugh. He was a short man with a big heart.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) with Visitationon Wednesday 2-4,7-9pm.
The Funeral Service will be held from the Church of the Ascension on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Leo Martin officiating.
A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Church of the Ascension Church Cemetery.

Elmer Proctor
Mr. Elmer Proctor of 1111 Main Street, Sussex Corner, New Brunswick, passed away on Friday, August 1st, 2003, at the age of 74.
Born in Sussex, Elmer was the son of the late Beverly and Mabel (Hall) Proctor of Sussex. Elmer is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Gerry (Norrad) (Dunbar) Proctor; his son Beverly and his wife Christa (Virtue) of Wards Creek; his daughter Kelly and her companion Ryan Hoffman of Regina; his granddaughter, Selena Rae Proctor. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Faith Dunbar and her fiancee Brian Williams of Sussex, his step-son David Dunbar and Susan Vondette of Sundre, Alberta; and six step-grandchildren, Gina (Miller) and husband Shannon Stringer of Regina; Genelle Miller of Berwick, David Miller of Sussex, and Oliva, Danielle and Nicole Dunbar all of Sundre, Alberta, his sisters Jean Proctor of Sussex; Dorothy Horncastle and her husband Bob of Hampton; and Valerie Myers and her husband Basil of Ottawa; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Elmer is pre-deceased by a step-grandson, Jarrod, brothers, Harold, Bob, Ralph (Jud), and sisters, Greta, Sybil Watt, Bea Hay, Marjorie Atkinson and Marion Hay.

Frances Theresa Rossiter
April 26, 1928 - December 15, 2001
Mrs. Frances Theresa Rossiter of Plumweseep, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on December 15, 2001, born in Saint John, on April 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Kennedy) McCarthy.
She will be greatly missed by Ken, her husband of 50 years, 3 daughters Joanne Gregg of Cedar Camp, Cindy Gregg and her husband Sterling of Plumweseep, Karen Stanwix and her husband Vernon of Marshall Hill, 8 Sisters Margaret Martin, Helen McDonald, Rita Short, Catherine Cple, Joan Anderson and her husband Clarence and Christine Lavallee all of Saint John, Muriel Grasdal and her husband Conard of Saskatchewan, Connie Grasdal and her husband Ray of BC, 1 brother Ron McCarthy of Willow Grove. 4 grandchildren David, Melanie, Patrick, Jonathan, 4 great grandchildren Angelique, Brianna, Shawn, Ethan, several nieces and nephews. A brother John predeceased Frances.
She enjoyed music especially Blue Grass and Country, she was a former Clogger, a former member of the Seven "Cs" Trailer Club, NB Antique Auto Club, Valley Cruisers Car Club, and Princes Louise s 8th Hussars C.W.A.C Reserves,

Dorothy Vera Pevlin
Mrs. Dorothy Vera Pevlin, of 476 Route 890, Smith Creek, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on July 9, 2003 at the age of 62. Dorothy was born in Saint John, NB on July 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Bertrum and Margaret Ann (Dodd) Winchester.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Hazen, 2 daughters; Linda Klein and her husband Gerald of Sussex, Cherie Ewart and her husband Brian of Sussex, 3 sons; Randy and his wife Shirley of Colina, Vincent and Flo of Hampton, Sterling and his wife Natalie of Kingston Penninsula, her brother, David and his wife Joanne of Saint John, 2 sisters: Margaret Leblanc of Roachville, Margaret Boscoe and her husband Roy of Upham, 12 grandchildren; Jonathan, Jeremy, Carrie-Lynn, Tammy, Stephanie, Taner, Amanda-Dawn, Lindsay, Gary, Gregory, Kent and Kirk, 4 great grandchildren; Jordan Julie, Trisan and Rilee, several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was predeceased by a sister Davidina Owens and by a brother Bert.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Foster Parent. She was devoted to them and to her many animals

Clifford Charles Perry
Mr. Clifford Charles Perry, of Perry Settlement, passed away at his residence on May 31, 2003 at the age of 82 years. He was born in Perry Settlement, NB on December 15, 1920, the son of the late Renwick J. and Carrie R. (Keith) Perry.
Clifford is survived by his beloved wife Margaret Aird (Fair), his daughter, Marlene Brown and her husband Gordon of Sussex, three sons Eugene and his wife Gladys of Perry Settlement, Arnold and his wife Phyllis of Moncton, Reg and his wife Dawn of Perry Settlement, eight grandchildren; David and his wife Teresa, Gail Moore and her husband Kelly, Charlene Boyd and her husband Tony, Bruce, Neil, Dwayne, Nicole and Michele, five great granddaughters; Samantha, Becky, Natalie Jennifer, and Shayna, two brothers Foster and his wife Margaret of Sussex, Garfield and his wife Shirley of Sussex, three sisters Greta Bennett of Peterborough, Ont., Alice Price of Rothesay, NB and Marjorie Dickie and her husband Joe of Cornhill, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Clifford was a member of the Carsonville Head of Millstream United Church. He was a dedicated Farmer and Woodsman.

Born in Portagevale, N.B. on October 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Alvin and Nettie (Graves) Marks.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife Edith June (Norden) Marks 2 sons, Peirce A. and Alvin J. both at home 2 brothers, Russell and his wife Treva of Sussex Corner and Myles and his wife Helen of Hungary several nieces and nephews
Stanley was predeceased by his 2 sisters, Pearl Hodgin and Elma Hall, and by a brother, Allison.

Eric William Jordan
Mr. Eric William Jordan, of Sussex, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on June 1, 2003. He was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on May 2, 1937, he was the son of the late William Luther and Violet Louise (Roulston) Jordan.
Eric is survived by his 3 daughters, Dianne of Sussex, Barbara of Sussex, Angela Weston and her husband Dana of Sussex, 2 sons, David and his wife Cindy of Whitby, Ontario, James of Sussex 4 grandchildren: Tyler Jordan, Kayla Goddard, Rebecca Jordan and Brady Weston, 2 cousins, Gretchen Gilbert and John Gilbert.
Eric was predeceased by his brother, Linwood and by a sister, Anne Louise.
During his lifetime Eric held many positions. He was a newspaper photographer in Ontario, a farm hand with Grant Floyd in Roachville and Harold Friars in Wards Creek. He was employed in the tea room department of G. E. Barbour s Ltd. With Irving Oil delivering fuel in Hampton, Petitcodiac and Sussex, from where he began his own fuel delivery company under Petro Fina where he remained for six years. Later he was employed by J. D. Irving Woodlands as a certified wood grader in Penfield and Sussex. In 1988 he moved to Ontario to work for Markham Disposal.
Among his hobbies were; playing baseball, umpiring softball games, photography, Sunday drives with his family always making time to have coffee with family, friends and truckers at various restaurants in the area. Eric is a former member of the Queen's Scouts and the CB Club.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, of Codys, NB passed away at Bellisle Creek Manor on August 25, 2001 Born in Saint John, NB on November 22, 1914,She was the daughter of the late John and Emma Farnsworth (Saunders).
Mary was the beloved wife of the Late Donald Jenkins who passed away in 1973. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Morgan of St. Catherines, Ont. 2 sons, Gordon and his wife Flora of Cambridge Narrows and David and his wife Artice of Fredericton Her brother George Saunders of Saint John. 2 sisters, Marion Burns and June Saunders both of Saint John 9 Grandchildren, 14 great grand children, nieces and nephews
Mary was predeceased by 3 brothers Howard, Edward, and John and by 2 sisters Dorothy and Helen
She was a member of the Cody United Baptist Church and the Gloria Dae Singers

Donald Charles Howell James
Mr. Donald Charles Howell James, of 156 Schofield Road Summerville, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on June 4, 2003 at the age of 72.
Donald James was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 8, 1930 to Eddie and Moira James. Donald grew up in a sports household, having a father who played football with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and later a brother, Gerry, who played both hockey and then football. As a young boy, Donald spent time with his Aunt Lillian on the James family homestead in Charleswood and also with his grandmother on the FitzGerald farm in Grenfell, Saskatchewan.
Donald had a keen interest in travel and set out on many adventures across the country and around the world. As a teenager, he spent weeks on horseback riding through the Rocky Mountains attending rodeos and playing the role of cowboy. He set off from Winnipeg with pennies in his pocket and traveled overseas on Merchant Navy ships to Russia and countries on the Baltic Sea. From England, he worked his way overland to Malaysia and took a boat to Australia where he cut cane; he worked on farms while exploring New Zealand. Don also traveled through countries such as Nepal, Iran, Iraq, Yugoslavia, India, Tibet and China, bringing home many souvenirs of his journeys and adventures. He wrote many articles documenting his experiences during his travels which were printed in Winnipeg newspapers.
In England, while acting for the BBC and in various films, he met his wife Gillian. They were married in Niagara Falls, N.Y. in 1963 and set up home in Winnipeg. His son Simon was born in 1964, Samantha (in England) in 1965 and Stephen back in Winnipeg in 1967. He and his young family moved to B.C. in 1973 following a few months in England and Wales. Many people across the country followed the family s boxcar journey from B.C. to Sussex, N.B. where they bought the Dagnino Farm on the Millstream. His fourth child, Matthew, was born in Sussex in 1981.
Donald always considered himself a Westerner but came to love the East and the farm he lived on. He and his wife raised cattle, donkeys and mules on what he referred to as the Great White North Donkey and Mule Company. He built a shop in which he enjoyed working with wood and building things for the house. He completely renovated the old house on the farm, adding a large veranda that the whole family enjoyed. Don and Gillian always had large vegetable gardens, and raised much of their own food.
Donald loved to travel and would regal anyone who would listen with tales of his adventures. He was keenly interested in world affairs and was a frequent contributor to the CBC.
Donald is survived by his wife Gillian, and his four children, Simon, Samantha, Stephen and Matthew as well as 12 grandchildren.
At Don s request no visitation will be held. The Funeral Service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 2:30 pm.

Kathleen "Mabel" Howe
Miss Kathleen "Mabel" Howe of Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, NB, passed away at her residence on July 27, 2003 at the age of 87. Born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland on January 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Follis) Howe.
Mabel is survived by 3 brothers, Reg and his wife Edna of Roachville, Ivan and his wife Beryl of Lower Millstream, John Stuart and his wife Joanne of Quispamsis, 4 sisters: Violet Wright of Halifax, Anna McAleese of Lower Millstream, Rachel Herrmann and her husband Paul of Vancouver, Lena Young of Saskatchewan, 3 sisters-in-law, Hilda Howe of Sussex, Jessie Howe of Halifax and Shirley Howe of Sussex, several nieces and nephews.
Mabel was predeceased by 3 brothers William, Thomas, Alexander (Sandy) and by her sister Sara.
Mabel was a retired Nurse and served as a lieutenant during WWII.
She was a member of the Church of the Ascension,

Joan Amelia Hetherington
Mrs. Joan Amelia Hetherington of 113 Nelson Street, Sussex, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on June 14, 2003 at the age of 82. Born in London, England on May 20, 1921, Joan was the daughter of the late Stanton Arthur and Elizabeth Alice (Bennett) Lampard.
Joan is survived by Horace, her husband of 57 years. Her children; Betty Vautour and her husband Frank of Edmonton Alberta, her son Gary and his wife Faye of Riverview, NB, Sheila Hetherington of Vancouver, BC, Marilyn Settle and her husband Wade of Sackville, NB, her brother Stan of England, her 4 grandchildren, Rob, Matt, Jennifer, and Brad, 3 Great Grandchildren, Spencer, Sam, Sarah, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joan was predeceased by 2 brothers; Ron and Jack and her sister Alice.
She was a member of the Army Territorial Service in the British Army during WWII. She was a member of Sussex United Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMS, Fidelity Class and sang in their choir for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Aux. and the War Brides Assoc.
Arrangements are entrusted to care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Sussex United Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 2:00 pm.
The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute on Monday evening at 6:45 pm.
A private family Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.

Donald J. Hetherington
Mr. Donald J. Hetherington, of Cody's, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 1, 2003 at the age of 70. Born in Cody's, New Brunswick on March 6, 1933, he was the son of the late Frank and Alice (Perry) Hetherington.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife Mary Elizabeth (Gourlay) Hetherington, two daughters, Alice Dunster and Marianne Hetherington of Cody's, his son Frank of Fredericton, his brother, Gordon and his wife Ivy of England, his sister, Grace of Sussex his sisters-in-law, Margery of Cody's and Roberta of Saint John, five grandchildren, Marie, Ashley, Katlyn, Michelle and Jillian, several Nieces and Nephews.
Donnie was predeceased by a son Bill and by 4 Brothers Ralph, Palmerston, John, and Robert.
Donnie was a retired laborer for the Department of Transportation as well as farmed for many years, he was a graduate of Agricultural School in 1952, and worked at the lakeside Provincial Park for 5 seasons he was a member of Cody's United Baptist Church.

Milton Milledge Gregg
Mr. Milton Milledge Gregg of Newtown, passed away at his residence on May 18, 2003 at the age of 62. Born in Lewistown, NB on October 12, 1940, he was the son of the late Harley and Catherine (Almon) Gregg.
Milton was dearly loved and will be greatly missed but never forgotten by all his family and friends.
Milton is survived by 6 children Vernon, Darrell and his wife Susan, Rhonda and Dawn Gregg all of Hamilton, Ont. Tina Monahan and her husband Allen of Cassidy Lake, Dereck (Digger) and his girlfriend Missy Snyder of Roachville, 7 brothers; Lloyd and his wife Dorothy of Montreal, Arthur and his wife Linda of Jordan Mountain, Arnold and his wife Marlene of White's Mountain, Myles and Kathy of Hamilton, Ont., Sterling and his wife Cindy of Plumweseep, Doug of Toronto, Arden of NewLine, 7 sisters; Elsie Dyer and her husband Jim of Smith Creek, Shirley Patterson and her husband Alan of Penobsquis, Mabel Wortman of Sussex, Freda Smith and her husband Harvey of Penobsquis, Lois Beach and her husband Leland of Cody's, Pauline Bradbury of Sussex, Phyllis Lewis and her husband Fred of Woodstock, 6 grandchildren, Brian, Carolyn, Jolee, Sarah, Brandon, Shauna, and Milton s friend Wendy Young of Sussex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Milton was predeceased by his daughter Sherry, 3 brothers; Melbourn, Medley and Harry, and by 2 sisters Georgia and Vivian
Milton moved across the country as a young man working in many different provinces. He returned to Newtown in the early 1970 s where he worked several jobs from forestry work to construction. He later came to work at the Potacan Mining Co in Cassidy Lake where he worked until he retired in 1996.
Milton enjoyed the outdoors. He like hunting, fishing and driving his four wheeler and snowmobile for a pastime. Milton had a camp at Mechanic Lake where he enjoyed spending time around the campfire and socializing with his neighbours.
Milton retired from Diamond Construction and was a former employee of Potocan Canada.

Funeral Service is from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Gosline Cemetery.

Kathleen M. DeVine
1931 - 2002
Mrs. Kathleen M. DeVine, of Hillsdale, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on March 23, 2002. Kathleen was born in Poodiac, NB on August 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Ernest and Lora (Mallery) Mahoney.
She is survived by Elward, her beloved husband of 42 years. Her daughters, Cheryl Case and her husband Ray of Yellowknife, Sheila DeVine of Yellowknife, Nancy Secord and her husband Harold of Penobsquis, Cathy Burns and her husband Jim of Hampton. 7 sisters, Loretta Hanlon of Bloomfield, Jean Graves of Jemseg, Rita Bortlucci of Ont., Lois Erb and her husband Bob of Belleisle, Irene Goddard and her husband John of Grand Bay, Angela Henderson of Sussex, Diane Ganong and Tom Trecartin of Yellowknife, 2 brothers Reg and his wife Donna of Newline Rd., Leo and his wife Donna of Sussex Corner, 8 Grandchildren Melissa, Robert, Andrew, Devin, Liam, Dillon, Colin, Sean, as well as several nieces and nephews
Kathleen was predeceased by her sister Marie, 3 brothers, Fred, Ronnie and John
Kathleen devoted her life to Elward and their girls. One of her proudest moments was seeing her one and only granddaughter, Melissa being the first grandchild to join the DeVine family followed by seemingly endless grandsons.
She often spoke of the many fond memories that she shared with her family of 14 brothers and sisters, as they grew and lived their life on the farm in Poodiac.
Her passion was quilting. She made quilts for all her daughters, every grandchild and many more in between. Kathleen and her sisters spent endless hours crafting quilts to ensure every niece and nephews had a Mahoney Quilt to seal their marriage.
She spent countless hours visiting relatives and learning more about the DeVine and the Mahoney family history over endless cups of tea. Many shared great joy in sharing stories about their descendants.
One of Kathleen s greatest pleasures in life was the trips she took with her sisters. She traveled to Yellowknife twice with some of her sisters and twice with her husband. Her latest train trip was with three of her sisters to Brighton, Ontario to visit her sister Rita.
Mom loved family gatherings, baking, berry picking, staying at the camp, quilting, discovering family history and going to church.
Kathleen lived an active and fulfilling life until March 23, 2002.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday 7-9 pm, Monday 2-4, 7-9 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 2:00 pm, with Fr. Kevin Barry and Fr. Peter Bagley officiating. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery in the spring.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donors choice.

George Hugh Corey
Mr. George Hugh Corey of 80 Peter Street Sussex, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on July 6, 2003 at the age of 62.
Born in Moncton, NB on April 18, 1941, George was the son of the late Tupper and Marjorie (Beach) Corey.
George is survived by his beloved wife Joyce, two brothers Oscar and his wife Edith of Moncton and Russell and his wife Lillian of Labrador His sister-in-law Glenna Hamilton of Moncton 6 nieces and nephews Cheryl, Sheri, Michael, Sheldon, Shayne, and Gerry
His companions Snoopy and Marty
George was predeceased by his brother Gerald in 1960
George was a retired orderly and worked at the Moncton Hospital, Millcove Nursing Home, Kenneth Spencer Nursing Home and the Saint John General Hospital

Lois Beach
Mrs. Lois Beach, of Codys, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 31, 2003 at the age of 55. She was born in Whites Mountain, NB on September 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Harley and Catherine (Almon) Gregg.

Mr. David James Powell, of Church Ave. Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 4, 2001.
Born on July 5, 1943, he was the son of Flossie Powell of Sussex and the late Arthur W. Powell who passed away in 1958.
David is survived by his mother, 2 daughters Judy Booth and her husband Harry of Cassidy Lake, Donna Secord and her husband Paul of Penobsquis 2 grand children Jesse Secord and Kristen Booth, 3 sisters Joan Folkins of Sussex, Cathy Roy and her husband Donnie of Bathurst, Susan Adair and her husband Lawrence of Millbrook, 2 brothers Carl and his wife Joan of Mt. Middleton and Ron and his wife Debbie of Millbrook, several nieces and nephews. David is also survived by his special friend Helen Proctor

Mr. PAUL ELLSWORTH DUFFY, of O'Connell Ave. Sussex, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on December 7, 2001.
Born in Norton, on May 12, 1909, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Annie (Langell) Duffy and the beloved husband of 46 years to Muriel L. (Howley).
He is also survived by his 4 sisters Margaret Northrup and her husband Chester of Norton, Connie LaForge and her husband Marcel of Halifax, Hazel Duffy of Hampton, his sister-in-law, Clara Duffy of Norton, several nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his brothers, Walter and James and by 2 sisters Molly and Phyllis.
