It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Chesley Childs announce his sudden passing on Monday, September 1st, 2003 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 80th year.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years Mary; son Garland & wife Jeanie; daughters: Suzanne Childs (Howard )and Rosalyn Sheppard (Rendell); foster daughter Heather Traverse (Rick) all residing in Lark Harbour; 10 grandchildren: Steven, Jeffrey, Ryan, Johnny, Melanie, Dennis, Dale. Trina, Richard and Regie; 6 great grandchildren: Kirkland, Dayna, Denise, Craig, Dawson and Mia; 2 brothers: Ronald (Mamie), Lark Harbour, Soloman (Marie), Yarmouth, NS; brothers-in-law: Roland Sheppard, Kenneth Druggett; and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Clara Childs; sisters: Ruby, Elsie, Bessie and Mary; brothers: Bill and Herbert.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 4th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, Reverend Joyce Payne officiating followed by the Interment at the Church Cemetery. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Beloved husband and best friend of Christine Vaillancourt. Precious son of Andrew and Myra Green. Cherished brother of Glen (Andrea). Loving grandson of Cecelia Peters (Max Rose) and the late Patrick Peters and the late Sidney and Lillian Green. Dear son-in-law of Robert and Eileen Vaillancourt. Special uncle of Amiee and Alexander Green, Mikaela and Olivia Groulx, Emille, Nicholas, Joel, Tianna and Caitlin Vaillancourt. Wonderful brother-in-law of Darrell and Suzanne Vaillancourt, Lyne Vaillancourt (the late Gary), Bernie and Susan Groulx. He will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Sean was an enthusiast of sports and laughter. He loved the great outdoors - from playing ultimate to swimming oceans to hiking mountains.

Charlotte Melvina (nee Martin) Hellier
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charlotte Melvina Hellier announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 11th, 2002 in her 76th year.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Gilbert S Hellier, four children; Darlene Hellier of Corner Brook, NF, Frederick Hellier of Innisfil, ON, Enid Dominey (George), of Kippens, NF and Donald Hellier (Angie) of Innisfil, ON, also leaving to mourn to with fond memories, sisters; Gladys McLeod, Clarice Bennett, Olga Rolfe (Garland); brothers; William Martin and Hedley Martin (Vonnie). She will be remembered and missed by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild as well as other relatives and friends.
Melvina was predeceased by her parents Azariah and Sarah Martin, sisters; Maisie Martin, Doris Martin, Myrtle Raymond, Emma Tucker, Annie Myles and Violet Pye: brothers Baxter and Roy Martin.

passed away peacefully at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville. Tuesday October 29, 2002, Michael Jesso in his 100th year. Leaving to mourn are his brothers: Arthur, Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing and Andrew, Vermont, USA; sons: Gerard (Moria), Ontario, Lambert (Alma), Con (Viola) both of Port Au Port and Eddie (Beulah), Kippens; daughters: Moisie, Port Au Port, Maureen, Stephenville, Rona (Raymond), Sheaves Cove, and Riza (Jim), Florida, USA, his care giver and daughter-in-law, Geraldine, Degrau. He will be sadly missed by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary (Armany); sons: Bernard, Elias and Clayton.

passed away peacefully, March 28th, 2003, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Roy Anderson in his 93rd year.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family: three sons; Edward (Loretta), Clarence (Kay), Meadows, David, Ontario; three daughters: Effie Oliver, Judy Foote (Clifford), Mississauga, ON and Lorena Blanchard (Elwood), Meadows; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Adgie Anderson, Meadows, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred on June 20th, 1997, parents John and Annabella, three brothers, William, Lloyd and Daniel, two sisters, Effie and Lena.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Ethel Mae Blanchard; 6 sons: Ernest (Claudine), Clayton, Roland (Gloria), Meadows, Jordy (Maureen), Norris Point, Brian (Marie), Mulvers, Lawrence (Peggy), Meadows; 5 daughters: Una Lovell (Nelson), Melvers, Isabel Hunt (David), Meadows, Jean Combdon (Garry), Jackson's Arm, Avril Blanchard, Anita Blanchard, Meadows; sister Edith Blanchard; brother-in-law Chesley Brake (Sylvia), sisters-in-law: Lena (Freeman) Bolt, Inez Brake, Meadows; 24 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother John Blanchard and parents Norman and Beatrice Blanchard.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Brown (1994), son William Brown, sisters Ida Wheeler, Jessie Strickland, brothers Harry Barnes, Enis Barnes and sister-in-law Margaret Williams.
The funeral service will be held Monday, September 22nd at 10:30 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral, Main Street, The Very Reverend Lorne Gosse officiating, followed by the Interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY AGNES BUCKLE announce her passing on Friday, July 11th 2003 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are four children: Sheila MacNeil (Brian), Albert Buckle (Linda), Robert Buckle and special mend Linda MacLaren, Regina Staples (Gerry); thirteen grandchildren: Brian Buckle, Janet Lynn, Brianjr, Mark & Michael MacNeil, Cheron, Cassandra, Melissa Buckle, Shane, Shannon & Erin Buckle, Michael & Danny Staples; four sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) Fitzgerald, Sheila Sova (Richard), Jean Murphy (Bill), Patricia (Pat) Greene (Bryan); three brothers: Kevin, Mike and Frank Fitzgerald; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Buckle (1986), sons Francis (1952) & Paul (1999), brothers Joe (1997) & Roy (1968).
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 14th at 10:30 a.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue, followed by the Interment at Mt. .Patricia Cemetery. Passed peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2002 at the Interfaith Home, Sarah Lavinia Carter at the age of 90.
She will be remembered with fond and loving memories by her son Reginald Carter (Sharon), Corner Brook; daughters Violet Gregory (Winston), Orrilla, ON, Elizabeth Reeve (Richard), Washington, Margaret Brenner (John), Whiting, Iowa, Audrey Carberry (Ross), Corner Brook, Sandra Taylor, Halifax, NS; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; brother Edgar Parsons, sister Marie Blackwood (Jim), sister-in-law Kathleen Parsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Carter, January 16, 1998, brother Captain Herbert Parsons, sister-in-law Nita Parsons.
The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Monday from 7-9 pm followed by a private family service on Tuesday, July 23. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Children's Wish Foundation will be graciously accepted.

ON, granddaughters: Joy (Greg) Taaffe, Comer Brook; June, Red Deer; AIta; Susan (Keith) Spencer, Saskatoon, Sask.; also by fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband Herbert Clarke (1973), son Herbert Clarke Jr. (1994), daughter-in-law Margaret Clarke (1996) and grandson Jim Clarke (1995).
