It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Miles announce his peaceful passing at his home on Friday, August 8th 2003 at the age 65 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maude, three children- Phyllis Bennett (Rick), Bradford, On, Roger (Josie), Newmarket, On, and Derek (friend Sandy), Comer Brook- grandchildren- Robert, Michelle, Ashley, Jason and MacKenzie. His mother Mrs. Hettie Pardy (Miles), Corner Brook, sisters; Verna Grant (Jim), Comer Brook, Bernice Stratton (companion Mike), Cantley, Quebec, Renalda Miles, Toronto, On, ; brother Lorne Miles (Jessie), Sandy Point, as well as many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law other relatives and mends. Predeceased by father Jesse Miles (1959), and beloved daughter Sharon Linda (2001 ).
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 11 th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence street, Rev. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Murley announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at the age of 84.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years Thomas, children: George (Jean), Comox, BC, Frederica (Eric) Collins, Kippens and Frank (Elizabeth), Corner Brook; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother Stanley (Rita) Thoms, Carbonear as well as large circle of nieces, nephews relatives and friends. She was predeceased by sisters: Hilda and Dorothy, brothers George and Frank.

It is with great sadness that the family of John Francis Murphy announce his passing on Thursday, June 5th 2003 at the J.I. O Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 80.
Left to mourn are his sons: Robert (Evelyn), Maurice (Barbara), Edward & daughter-in-law Esther; grandchildren: Jennifer, Lori, Stephen, John, Jason and Christopher Murphy; great grandchildren: Jessica Power, Deneka Murphy, and Austin Murphy; sister Ellen Bennett (Earl); brothers: Ronald (Barbara) and Peter; sister-in-law Mary Murphy; special niece Deborah Fisher; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Maidment) 1991; daughter Ena Elizabeth 1944; parents Michael and Mary Winnifred (Kennedy) Murphy; brothers: Joseph, Stephen (Marie, Min), Aloysius (Josephine), Thomas (Sadie), Walter, Anthony (Marcella).
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 9th at 1:30 p.m. from The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue. The Interment will follow in the family plot at The Townsite Cemetery. Allan C. Parsons
passed away suddenly at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Allan Parsons, on Saturday, March 15, 2003, in his 70th year. Predeceased by his parents Allan T. and Alice (Ryan) Parsons of Corner Brook, and brother John (Jack). Leaving to mourn wife Renee (nee Tilley); three sons, Blair, Todd, and Stephen; sister, Katherine (Kitty); grandchildren, Christopher, Allan, Sydney, Clare, and Sarah; as well as many other relatives and friends. His fun - loving spirit will be missed by all.
Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Ave on Monday evening from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, March 18 at 2 pm from the First United Church, Park Street, Rev. John Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the local chapter of the SPCA.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lilly. his children Neila (Anthony) Anstey of Fort McCurray Alberta and Authorine (Jim) Offrey of Millet, Alberta Grandchildren Walter (Lena), Hughena and Lillian in Fort McCurray and Carmi, Heidi and Bobbi Jean in Millet, Two sisters Nettie Payne of Cow Head and Hilda Reeves of Hespler Ontario. Also, a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by his mother Mildred (Humber), his father Thomas and his daughter Mildred.
Visitation took place at St. Mary's Anglican Church Cow Head. The Funeral was held on Thursday, Aug 7 at 2:00pm

Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Skinner of Debert NS, Formerly of Lourdes. NL announce his sudden passing in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, July 26, 2003 in Debert, Nova Scotia at the age of 49 years.
He leaves to moron with fond and loving memories; Mother Mary, Lourdes; daughters: Sarah, Arizona, and Ali Patty (David) Goolsby, Arizona, Darlene (Lou) Drake, Lourdes; brothers: Jim (Cynthia), Kevin (Gail), & Paul all of Lourdes, Bud (Marilyn), PE.I. and Brian (Diahan) of Nova Scotia; 7 nieces and 8 nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Charles, March 26, 1974.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Diane, daughter Loretta, Comer Brook, son Ronald, Toronto, grandchildren Erica and Sheridan Kelloway, brothers; Lewis (Marie), Jack (Joan) and Wally (Barb), sisters; Ann (Harold) Abbott, Shirley (Arthur) Hull, and Eileen (George) Power, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Georgina, and parents William and Dulsie Tapp.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7~9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Church, Clarence Sstreet. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Centre, Western Region.

Alfreda Taylor
It is with great sadness that we announce tbe passing of Alfreda Taylor at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 in her 98'~ year,
Leaving to mourn, sons: Edward (Dorothy) Taylor, Toronto, Ontario; Morley (Myra) Taylor, Clarenville; Robert (Patricia) Taylor, Corner Brook; daughters: Betty (James) Brake, Corner Brook; Anita (John) Butler, Corner Brook; daughter-in-law Judy Taylor, Corner Brook; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 5 Great-great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of friends and other relatives.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold (1969), sons: Maxwell (1969) and David (1989) and daughter Ena (1992).
The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Curling Memorial United Church on Sunday, August 10111 at 2:00 p.m., Mrs. Mary Brenson officiating. Interment will follow at the Curling Memorial United Church Cemetery, Petries. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Curling Memorial United Church Fund.

Joseph Redmond Tobin
Joseph Tobin passed away peacefully on September 21 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 74.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joyce. His combined family included seven daughters, Debbie Payne (Calvin), Joann Scott (Craig), Suzanne Leblanc (John), Jeanne Colbourne (Steve), Julie Sheppard (Dave), Joanne Abbott, Janice Marshall (Chris), four sons; Jim Tobin (Jane), Glen Abbott (Loretta), Chris Abbott (Marla), Curt Abbott (Ellen), and daughter-in-law Beatrice Tobin. Loving grandchildren include Jesse, Jenna, Dennis, Brian, Pamela, Adam, Kenzie, Charlotte, Jamie, Carl, Jason, Heidi, Becky, Chris, Mike, Dalton, Kenzie, Rick, Katie and Stephen Special great grandchildren include Georgi, Ruairidh, Meghan, Alex and Anna. He leaves behind as well as two sisters, Ann Smith (Ron), Alice Ewing, four brothers, George (Eliza), Fred (June), David, Nick (Mary), sister-in-law Flo Tobin and a large circle of nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe is predeceased by his first wife Marion Snooks, son Ward, brothers Vince and Ralph, parents John and Ann (Power) Tobin.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday, September 27 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m, to pay their respects and celebrate memories. A Memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. The family guest book mil be available for signing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital or the Janeway Children's Hospital would be graciously accepted.
