Passed peacefully away on Friday, August 6th, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, SARAH ELLEN BOND at the age of 48. Leaving to mourn daughter Cynthia (Cory MacDonald), son Hubert (Jeremy Gilbert), grandchild Skye MacDonald; Brothers James Young (Elizabeth), Elvin Young (Dorothy), Gerald Young (Harriett) all of Ramea, and a number of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Bond in 1994, parents James and Roseanne Young. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks, Reverend Monica Coffin officiating, followed by Interment at the Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Visitation was held at Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue. As expressions donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 9th, 2004, Louise Penny at the J. I. O Connell Centre, Corner Brook at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Hedley in 1977, brother Joseph and sister Emmie. Leaving to mourn with loving memories: sons; Wilson (Jean), Monty (Marilyn) of Pasadena, daughters; Daphne Badcock (Wayne), Bedford, NS, and Emmie Penney (Otto), Pasadena, as well Nan will be missed by her nine grandchildren: JoAnne Woodford(Randell), Deer Lake, Shawn Penney (Tracy), Kitchener, ON, Dale Penney (Gerry), Brampton, ON, Dawn Penney (Glenn), St. John s, DeAnne, Paul and Susan Badcock, Bedford, NS, Steven and Amber Milley, Pasadena; four great grandchildren: Mark and Joshua Woodford, Matthew and Haley Thistle. Visitation will take place at St. David s Anglican Church, Pasadena on Wednesday, August 11th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 12th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. He was predeceased by his parents; Bernard and Gertrude Buckle. It is with great sadness the family of the late MARGARET WATKINS announce the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday August 15th, 2004 at the age of 78. Leaving behind her children she loved so clearly, five daughters and two sons: Shirley & Austin Hunt with whom she resided, Doreen & Bill Crocker, Mt. Moriah, Joyce & George Murley, Mary & Melvin Stone Hillards Rd., Julie Ann & Kevin Boland, Cambridge, Ontario, Reg & Marilyn Watkins, Halfway Point, Wayne Watkins, Inuvik, NWT. Nineteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister Clarice Ryan. She will be ever remembered by family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Ernest Watkins and baby son Everet. It is with great sadness that the family of Emmanuel L. White in his 85th year, passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Comer Brook, on Saturday, October 30th, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Emmanuel was a WWII Veteran, President and owner of Whites Trades Ltd. And a past president of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 13, Comer Brook, NL. Emmanuel was born in Safe Harbour, Bonavista Bay to Benjamin White and Annie (nee Elkins). He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 62 years; Jane Elizabeth (nee Dean) of Litcbfield Staffordshire, England. Daughters; Gloria Tanner (Herb), Comer Brook, Carol Fennemore (Gerald), Bay Roberts and June, Corner Brook; sons: Gary (Sylvia) Humber Village, Godfrey and David, Corner Brook. Emmanuel also leaves behind one sister Agnes Pearl (Kai Gullage), Comer Brook and sister-in-law Alma (Frank Guy), Corner Brook; seven grandchildren: Michael, Kimberly, Teri, Gloria, Garry Jr., Justin and Jordon; six great grandchildren; Ashley, Matthew, Brandon, Lindsey, Carly and Olivia, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his youngest and only brother Edwin, and sisters Gladys Hann (Edward) and Olive Burt (Elias). Leaving to mourn brother Wilfred; sister-in-law Margaret and their children: Caroline, Rosita, Darren, Dwight and Leona, and their families with whom he resided for 33 years; also brothers Jack and Edward (Sylvia); sister Alice Lee (James) and a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Caroline Buckle and sisters Julie O'Brien and Annette Marshall. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Earl Wayne Chaulk announce his passing on Thursday, June 14th, 2007 at the age of 46 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley Taylor; son Garrett Chaulk; mother Rosie; father Bernard; brothers: Keith (Donna), Dave (Brenda), Bobby, Glen, and special uncle George, as well as a large circle of nieces, other relatives and friends. Friends visited the United Church, North West River on Wednesday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Ruby G. Stone
Ruby G. Stone 86, of Moncton and formerly of Corner Brook, NL, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday June 17, 2007, with her loving family at her side. She had been living in Riverview/Moncton for the past six years. Born in Clarenville, she was the daughter of the late B. Ronald and Nellie F. (Churchill) Blackmore. After leaving Memorial University, Ruby passionately taught Elementary School in Belle Island and Corner Brook, for 30 years. Upon her retirement from the Newfoundland Teachers Association in June 1975, she became a dedicated volunteer of the Western Memorial Hospital Auxiliary until her move to Moncton in 2000. She was a member of St. Philip s Anglican Church, Moncton and St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Corner Brook.
Ruby will be sadly missed by her daughter Karen VanIderstine (Paul), Moncton; the loves of her life, her grandchildren Meghan, Todd and Kelly, Moncton: Brother Walter Blackmore, NF: Sister Eleanor Prieser, Florida; Sisters-in-Law Kay Blackmore, Alberta, Annie Webb, Massachusetts, and Mima Blackmore, Gander, NL. Many loved nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the United States and her network of close friends in Corner Brook. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband F. Bruce Stone (1992); Brothers; Lester, Raymond, Tony and Doug: Sister Carol.
Funeral Service at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 25 Main St. Corner Brook on Saturday June 23, 2007, 2pm.Reverend Michael Rice officiating followed by Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
In Ruby s memory, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the Western Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Corner Brook, would be appreciated.

Today we mourn the passing of a beautiful lady. Together we celebrate her life. On Friday, June 22nd, 2007 Rosaleen Walsh (nee Byrne) peacefully passed away at the age of 72 years, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Rosaleen leaves to mourn her husband James and her 11 children: Brian Walsh, Joanne Brake (Wayne), Rosalind McCarthy (Brent), Jim Walsh (Sandra), Paul Walsh, Maxine Tapp, Sean Walsh, Wayne Walsh, Tony Walsh, Michelle Walsh (Murray) and Trudy Walsh (Robert). Rosaleen was blessed with 13 grandchildren whom she held close to her heart. They are Eliot Walsh, Theresa and Kenneth Walsh (Donna), Jason Walsh, Samantha McCarthy, Sarah Walsh, A.J. Brake, Shane Walsh, Sabrina Tapp, Matthew McCarthy, Brittney Colson (Liz), Leah Walsh and Liam Jones. Rosaleen s beloved family includes her sister Theresa Murphy (Dennis), Rita McGregor (Gary), and brothers Bernard Byrne (Mary) and Joseph Byrne (Marie) and their families. Rosaleen is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary (Callahan) Byrne, siblings Lena Humphries (William), Marie Byrne, Harry Byrne (Agnes), William Byrne and niece Denise Humphries. Friends may visit Fillatre s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from the hours of 7-9 PM. The mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 2:00 PM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Joseph Gash officiating. Cremation will follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. The Interment will take place on Monday, June 25th at 11:00 AM from Mount Patricia Cemetery.
