MacFARLANE, Stephen David. passed away November 15, 2001 at the age of forty-one after a short battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving mother Joan, his sister Dawn and best friend Stan, his loving children Tyler and Jared who were his world, his Nanny Douglas and Heather, his nieces Stephenie and Melanie, his puppy Bart and his kitty Kiwi. MORROW, Arthur Cecil Forrest. (Art Morrow - Musician). passed away November 13, 2001 in Nanaimo. Born December 11, 1919 in Montreal, Quebec. He is survived by his sons Michael, David and Charles and their mother Denyse, his loving wife of many years. Art was a life long musician, arranger and conductor, known for his work with C.B.C. Radio from 1946 to the 1960's. He was also a member of the Nanaimo Concert Band, Parksville Concert Band, Just Us Band and the Port Alberni Group. HALASZ, Viola (nee Reiner). Born February 9, 1929, passed away in her beloved native city of Budapest, Hungary on Tuesday night, November 20, 2001. She will be greatly remembered by her devoted husband Tom, her step-children, Peter, Kathy (Rosenbaum, Scott) and her many devoted friends in three countries (Hungary, Canada and the U.S.). We will miss her grace, thoughtfulness, honesty, sincerity, unconditional love and above all, her joy in life's smaller pleasures.
