JONES, Charles Henry January 3, 1921 ~ February 25, 2007 Peacefully at the Queensway Carlton Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Breen). Loving father of Bill (Helene) of Stittsville and Ted (Carrie) of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Whitney (Jason) of Ottawa and Stephanie and Calvin of Calgary. Predeceased by his sister Gweyneth. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery in Toronto. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Gillespie, Dennis George
Peacefully on Sunday, February 4th, 2007, in his 88th year. Dennis Gillespie, beloved husband of the late May Poulton. Remembered with love by daughters Barbara Quesnel, Carole (Meme) Myles (Ray). Cherished grandfather of Christopher Quesnel, Jody Myles (Kitiya), Lisa Scrivens (Rick), Mark Myles (Shanee). His memory will live on in the lives of his great grandchildren. Potter, Pierrette Marie
Pierrette went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2005, in her 84th year. Pierrette was the devoted wife of Carrol Weston Potter, who predeceased her in 2003. She was the extraordinary mother of four children: Elaine (David), Michael (Pam), Gerald (Debbie), and Marc (Shelly); who blessed her with several grandchildren. Pierrette is also survived by three siblings: Pierre-Paul Bourbonnais, Monique Lalonde, and Yseult Bourbonnais. A memorial service will be held at Greenbelt Baptist Church, 839 Shefford Road, Gloucester, ON on Friday, September 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. (nee Buttery) Peacefully on Thursday, September 1st, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved wife of John (Jack) Whitehorne for 56 years. Dearly loved mother of Susan (Jack Ruyter) of Barrhaven, Lynda (Steve O Connor) of Munster, Sherry Herring of Kingston and predeceased by her daughter Nancy. Cherished Nanny to Elizabeth, Amanda and Nicholas Ruyter; Brendan, Christopher and Brady O Connor and Maryann and Carolyn Herring. Fond sister-in-law to Beverly Lawrence (Maury) and Joan Stevens (Eric). Predeceased by her parents Ann and George Buttery and her in-laws Dorothy and Charles Whitehorne. Offley, George William Clive
Suddenly, at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday September 1st, 2005, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary. Dear father of Cathrine (Bo Skowronnek), Judith-Ann Offley (Rick Leizert), Margaret Offley (Glenn Coffin) and Diane (Carl Harriman). Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Born in England, George affected all who knew him through his vibrant, and lively character and his determined will. He joined the Air Arm of the Royal Navy and flew one of the nine Swordfish torpedo bombers attacking the German battleship Bismarck in the first ever carrier-borne air strike against a battleship. George received the Murmansk Medal from the Former Soviet Union in recognition of his allied service, and has been decorated extensively by the Canadian and British Governments, including receiving the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. He supported and participated in The Royal Canadian Legion and ensuring veterans' rights. The family would like to thank the staff and physicians at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their care and compassion during George's treatments. Suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday September 3, 2005 at the age of 58. Loving wife and best friend of David. Dear mother of Sean (Andrea Brown) and Melissa (Andrew Woodard). Proud grandmother of Dilhan Averi and Jamie on the way. Dear sister of Bill (Edna), Sharon (Frank) and Kevin (Deb). Much loved daughter-in-law of Les and the late Rita Minion. Beloved sister-in-law of Bill (Carolyn), Rick (Carol) and Lesley (Dan). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Edith and her brother Lynn.
