Bradley F. John (Jack) At the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2005 in his 89th year. Beloved husband for 63 years of Muriel Grace Bradley (nee Currie). Loved father of Murray Bradley (Sheila) of Victoria B.C. and Beverley Reeves (Peter) of Nepean. Grandpa to his dearest Andrea. Also survived by his sister Joan Chilcott. Predeceased by his sisters Helen Bradley and Freda Cameron and his brother Pilot Officer Robert Bradley, RCAF Bomber Command, shot down over Berlin in January 1944. Jack was a veteran of World War II serving with the RCAF (Radar) from 1941 to 1945. Following the war Jack was employed by R.L. Crain Ltd. in Ottawa, Maple Leaf Mills in Toronto and Canadian Government Exhibition Commission and Trade Fairs and Missions Branch of the Department of Trade and Commerce, Ottawa. Special thanks to the caregivers at Lynwood Park Lodge and the caregivers and nursing staff at Stillwater Creek Community Retirement Centre for their excellent and loving care over the past two years. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Geroge Paul. An inspiration to many who were touched by her positive outlook, sense of humour and love of life. She will be greatly missed by longtime friends Bill and Diane Holmes and family, her caregiver Rose Bastien, her church congregation of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Kars and many other friends. Father of Diane Sandra Salter (the late Gillis Dwyer), William Silas Salter (David Squires), Marilyn Jean Salter, Thomas Edward Dales Salter (the late Sheila Miseck), Beverly Anne Salter and Kim Robinson Salter (Joanne McQuarrie). Grandfather of John Heard, Karl Barnwell, Melinda Morbi, Gregory Weedman (deceased), Jule Kristen Campbell (deceased), Megan Campbell, Owen Campbell, Kirsten Dimma, Sarah Kelly, Jason (Jessie) Salter, Heath Freeman, Kara Freeman, Teri Freeman, Kathleen Salter, Molly Salter and Laura Salter. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Brother of Elizabeth Philbrook and the late Jacqueline Macaskill. Cousin of John Lawer. A veteran of WWII and the Korean War, Bill was a longtime resident of Richmond, ON. and lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Richmond Branch.
