Cook, Annie-passed away on July 31, 2004 at 90 years of age. Predeceased by her husband William and son Tom. Annie is survived by her daughter Eleanor, grandchildren Kathy, Russell, Murray, Steven, David, Tommy, Anne, Dan, Jean and Heather. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 7 at 10 AM in Burquitlam Funeral Home-625 North Rd. Coquitlam.

Wickens, David Noel
12/24/1921 - 5/8/2006
WICKENS - David passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side May 8, 2006. David was born in Esquimalt, B.C. where he lived for 82 years. David spent his last years in Vancouver with daughter Dianne and son-in-law Ted. David also leaves behind his 'One and only' son Peter, along with devoted grandsons Kisci (Grant) and Tony. David's message to friends and relatives 'I had a good life 'VIA CON DIOS' - Dearest Dad - You will always be our hero. Edna May (nee Doleman) Hansen
Edna May (nee Doleman) Hansen passed away at her Port Moody home, November 3, 2002.
Born in Birmingham England, August 19, 1921. Came to Calgary Alberta with her family, in 1923.
She is survived by her loving family: Husband, Svend, for over 56 years; daughter Diana (Peter) Hiebert of Port Moody, and son Donald (Diane) of Gibsons. Also sadly missing her are her three grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Hiebert and Zachary Hansen. She is also survived by a brother Cyril (Margaret) Doleman and family in Calgary;cousin Joan (Norman) Barber and family in Surrey. Also saddened by her passing are Bill (Donna) Hansen and family in Brandon, Manitoba and various relatives in England and Denmark.
Edna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved her family dearly. Edna and her husband, Svend, were very active square dancers and assisted in promoting many functions. Currently they are members of the Lochdale Square Dance Club in Burnaby.
The family invites friends to join us in a celebration of Edna s life. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 8th, 2002 at St. Andrews United Church, 2318 St. Johns Street Port Moody. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Johnston, Astrid Sue - Born September 30, 1918, passed away peacefully August 6, 2004 at the age of 85 years. Sue is predeceased by her husband Bill. She is survived by her step-children; Ed (Vel) and Pat; grandchildren Rhonda (Ben), Mark (Sandy), Janet (Andrew), Kit (Paul), Ian, Lee (Donna) and many other relatives and friends. She is sadly missed by devoted friend Marg McKinnon. Sue was a master baker at Woodward s in Vancouver for 25 years. A wonderful hostess and cook, who loved to go fishing and tend to her beautiful garden. A very talented woman who will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held Saturday August 14 at 2 PM in Burquitlam Funeral Home-625 North Rd. Coquitlam. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.-#300-828 W. 8th Ave. Vancouver B.C. V5Z 1E2 appreciated.

LEWIS, Andrew Keith - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Keith, born September 20, 1969 and leaving this world August 5, 2004. Andrew was the loving son of Bob and Connie. Adored and loved by daughter Crystal Lee Lewis. Andrew will be greatly missed by sister Tracy (Doug) Johnson with Sarah and Rachelle; brothers Doug (Marion) with Christopher and Natalie, David (Trish) with Adrianna, Michael, Nicholas, and Bradley. Also missing Andrew are aunts, uncles, and many cousins. His legion of friends include many from his school days and also from his years as a proud member of BC s Trucking industry. A Celebration of Andrew s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Como Lake United Church, 535 Marmont St., Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canuck Place made in Andrew s name would be greatly appreciated, as he loved helping people, especially children.

RAITH, Betty - Born on November 4, 1921 in Calgary, Alberta. passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2004 at the age of 82. Betty served in the Canadian Air Force during World War II. Upon her discharge, Betty met and married John Lewis Raith and resided in North Delta for her remaining years. Predeceased by husband John. Survived by daughter Patricia Taylor and all other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. She will be missed by all.

CAMPBELL, Cora - (January 28, 1919 - August 10, 2004) Cora our Queen Bee passed away suddenly at the Eagle Ridge Hospital with her daughters by her side. Her family and friends will all dearly miss her. She was best known for her love and luck at Bingo, cards, Rummoli, and seeing those 7 s come up on the slot machines. All of us will especially remember her quick wit, generosity, great sense of humour and unconditional love. She was always just there for all of us. She was born in Norfolk, England and lived in Burnaby for 81 years where she was honored as a Burnaby Pioneer . Through the 1950 s - 70 s Cora was not only a devoted employee of Woodward s Dept. Store, but also she was very busy raising a family of three girls. Over the past 30 years, she also enjoyed being a member on the New Westminster Century House, Eastburn Community Center, Edmonds Community Center and the New Westminster Ladies Legion. She is survived by her younger sister, Barbara Hughes of Salt Spring Island; her immediate family, Wendy and Don Neumann, Pat Hitchens, and Lynda and Warren Hicks; her grandchildren, Mike, Renee, and Cory Neumann, Steve Jardin, Lisa and Grant Coghill, Cheri and Justin Goller, Sam, Joe and Dan (deceased) Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Kimberly and Tyson Neumann. Her dear friends Jean Purdy and Dorothy Findlay and all her new acquaintances at Parkwood Manor will also miss her.

TAYLOR, Thelma Marie (nee Niemi) April 4, 1930 - August 11, 2004 at Queens Park Care Centre in New Westminster. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Aili Niemi, son Jim, and the children's father Bob. Survived by her sons Terry, Randy, Ken, and Sheldon; daughters Sherry, Debbie Storm, and Lorena cottrell. Also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many friends, and relatives. Those who knew her will remember her for her big heart and wonderful sense of humour. Graveside Service at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery in Coquitlam on Monday, August 16, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Celebration of life to follow at the Coquitlam Legion Branch #263 at 1059 Ridgeway. Services through Burquitlam Funeral Home.
