FRANDSEN - It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Frandsen announces his passing on November 11, 2004 at the age of 61, after a seven year affliction with cancer. Dale is survived by his wife Linda, sons Christian and Scott, nephew Al (Sandra), niece Deborah (Grant) and a large extended family of Ratcliffes, Williamsons, and Danish Frandsens. He grew up in Salmon Arm, graduated from the University of Calgary, and worked with the Boys Club in Penticton. Dale was very proud of the memories and friends that he and Bruce Irving made while running the Courtplex. Over the next 15 years, Dale developed The Trophy Den into a successful business. While in Kelowna, he spent many satisfying hours coaching his sons in hockey, actively participating in the Sunrise Rotary Club and he was a member of the Kelowna Golf and Country Club. Golfing made him grin. He will be remembered for his wit, and love of family. He was a respected businessman and competitor. Dale traveled all over the world, but his favourite place to breathe was Murtle Lake. The family would like to thank its many friends and family for all of their support over the past few years. Thank you Dr. T. Taylor for your diligence and compassion.
