In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay
What you suffered you told few
You didn t deserve what
you went through
Tired and weary you made no fuss
But tried so hard to stay with us
But when we saw you sleeping
So peacefully free from pain
We could not wish for you back
To suffer that again

Love always

Memories Keep Those
We Love
Close to Us Forever
Although words seem to say so little,
they help in some small way
to ease the sense of loss
we are experiencing today
We hold fast our memories,
to all of our cherished moments
of the past,
to the blessings and laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and tears
They all add up
to a treasure of fond yesterdays.
The special moments
and memories in our life
will never change
They will always be in our heart
today and forever.
