Mrs. Doris Anna Almos, age 72 years, resident of Merrill Street, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2002.
Born in Port Arthur on June 23, 1929 Doris was a lifetime resident. She married Bernie Almos in September, 1951 and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She enjoyed boating on Lake Superior with her loving husband Bernie and her family. In the later years of her life, Doris pursued her dreams of becoming an artist, and created many beautiful oil paintings. Being blessed with a listening ear and kind heart, Doris enjoyed helping others, and her door was always open to anyone at any time. Doris was devoted to the Jehovah's Witnesses and truly loved serving God. The time Doris spent with her family was of the utmost importance in her life.
Doris is survived by her husband Bernie; son Barry (Agnes) Almos of Thunder Bay; two daughters: Lois (Keith) Toovey of Morinville, AB and Darlene Almos (Ken Telpuk) of Thunder Bay; four grandchildren: Leslie (Mike) Desnoyers, Stacy (Scott) Anderson, Matthew Butler, Monica Almos-Schwitzgebel; three great-grandchildren; five sisters: Vivian (Roger) Erickson, Evelyn (Tom) Craig, Barbara (Guy) Lamonde, Verna (Owen) Lemieux, all of Thunder Bay, and May (Cyril) Higgs of Sudbury; three brothers: Kenny (Colleen) Poulin of Toronto, Tim (Emily) Poulin and Norman (Marlene) Poulin, all of Thunder Bay. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Doris was predeceased by her parents Timothy and Laura Poulin; daughter Lori Almos; three brothers: Alex, Don and Charles Poulin; and a sister Audrey.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Tom Cressman of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Doris's memory to the St. Joseph's Care Group.

The family of Don Bernardi, age 54 yrs, of Thunder Bay announce with great-sadness, his passing on January 31, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospice after a brief illness. Don was born March 25, 1947 in Fort William. He attended local elementary schools and graduated from St. Patrick's High school and Cambrian College auto mechanic program. Don's love for the outdoors began as a Junior Forest Ranger and while working at his uncle Ernie Ariano's fishing lodge in Sioux Lookout. This love continued throughout his life, camping with family & friends and finally building his dream summer cottage on Graham Lake. Don made lifetime friends while he coached Elks Pee Wee hockey, as a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus (council 8602) & a member of CEP Union (Local 39). He was a founding member and current president of Graham Lake Campers Association. Don worked at Bortolins & Brescias Garages, Prudential Insurance and Gibson Motors, and finally Great Lakes Pulp & Paper (Bowater) Mill Garage. He married his high school sweetheart in 1968, and together they raised five beautiful children. Don was an avid fisherman and enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, making wine & helping family and friends with auto repairs. But Don's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. He was always known for his ability to fix everything and for his skill as the chef at the family grill. Don is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, sons, Shane (Kerri), Mark (of Calgary), and Tim, daughters, Dawn Marie, Alana and granddaughter Sydney, Parents, Oscar & Velma Bernardi, Brother Doug (of Maple), sister Gladys Berringer (Brian), and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by grandparents, Baretta & Amelia Bernardi, and Henry & Josephine Ariano of Sioux Lookout as well as aunts and uncles. Funeral service for Mr. Don Bernardi will be held at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday February 5, 2002 at St. Agnes R.C. Church. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Northern Cancer Research Center or St. Joseph's Hospice.

Mrs. Flora May Gaudreau age 86, a resident of Rosslyn Road, passed away peacefully in TBRH Port Arthur Site on Thursday January 31, 2002, with her family by her side. Born and raised in Fort William Flora met Joseph Albert Gaudreau, was married and moved to Geraldton. They had their oldest children there and following a move back to the city had their youngest child. Flora worked at the Thunder Bay Tree Farm for a number of years and then in the kitchen at McKellar Hospital until she retired. Flora enjoyed camping with family and friends at Northern Lights Lake and she enjoyed cooking, knitting and gardening in her younger years. She always enjoyed watching hockey on TV, especially the Maple Leafs. She is survived by her sons Albert (Faye), Duncan (Alisa), daughters Bernice (Bud) Wing, Coral (Mike) Tomeck, all of Thunder Bay, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers, Harold (Mary), William (Eleanor), Duncan (Anita), Norman (Bev), George (Gladys) and Keith Martyn, all of Thunder Bay, 5 sisters, Kay Nesbitt, Thunder Bay, Doris (Tom) Hood Manitoba, Margaret (Ernie) Goodchild Manitoba, Irene (John) Tapak Thunder Bay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Albert in 1985, her parents Robert and Ada Martyn, brother Daniel, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held on Monday February 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Carl Triskle of First Church United officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be on Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire memorials to the Chrohns and Colitis Society would be greatly appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Flora Gaudreau in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 29, 2003.

Margaret I. Mack, longtime resident of Oliver Road, passed away on January 31, 2002 at age 77 after a brief period in PAGH. Affectionately known as Billie to family and friends, she is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Martin), son-in-law Scott Martin and grandchildren Heather and Richard all of Thunder Bay. brother George Winchester Brooks of Sioux Lookout, niece Kathy Doherty (nee Mahoney), nephews Terry and Patrick Mahoney and her feline companion Muffin. Billie was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Richie in 1999, sister Georgina Mahoney and brothers Harry and Jack Brooks. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at St. Michael's All Angels Anglican Church, 675 Red River Road, Thunder Bay. Donations in memory of Billie may be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation and the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.

Loved mother of William (Skipper) Smith and his wife Rita and their daughter Katie of Corunna; Ed Smith and his wife Carolyn and their family Duane, Marnie and Natalie of Strathroy and Brent and Laurie of Calgary, Owen and his wife Sue and their children Shannon and Adam of Newmarket. Dear sister of Margaret Mendal and her husband George. Loved by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Edward and Michael Hedican and a sister Bloosom Valcheff. Mr. Kalevi Niinimaki, age 79 years, resident of Dawson Court, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - General on Sunday, January 27th, 2002. Born in Savitaipale, Finland, Kalevi came to Canada in the early fifties where he was employed by Abitibi Woodlands Division for many years until his retirement.
Kalevi is survived by two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews in Finland. He was predeceased by three brothers in Finland.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at Dawson Court, officiated by Rev. Jari Lahtinen of Hilldale Lutheran Church. Interment of cremains to take place in Finland.

Mrs. Lucille McDonald age 69 years, a resident of Toledo Street passed away peacefully at her residence with family and friends by her side on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Lucille was born in the Pas, Manitoba on January 31, 1932. She married Thomas McDonald in 1955 and together they raised their family in Nakina where she enjoyed her job at the local Post Office. Upon relocating to Thunder Bay she was employed by the Nurses Registry until retirement in 1994. Lucille was very active in her communities which included Girl Guide Leader extrodinaire, Neighbourhood Watch, The C.W.L and especially the church choir. Lucille was an avid curler, beautiful artist and a talented seamstress. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Many of those closest to her will remember her for her beautiful smile and kind heart.
Lucille is lovingly remembered by Tom, her husband of 46 years, daughters: Bonnie (Tim) Kozak, Cindy (Daniel) Langden and son Thomas (Jackie) and adored grandchildren: Ryan, Marissa, Jesse, Justin, Tessa, Robert (Michelle), Lyndsay, Andrew and great-grandaughter Averie. She is also survived by brothers Leonard, Eugene (Pat), Gerald (Jane) and sister Noella. She will also be sadly missed byTom's brother and sisters and their families as well by her friend Babe.
We can only imagine the joyful reunion in heaven with her parents Ruth and Emile, brothers-in-law: Ted, Gary, George, and Charles and sister-in-law Patsy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2002 when family and friends will gather in St. Margaret's R.C. Church for Requiem Mass beginning at 9:30 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Mrs. Mildred L. Appel age 83 years of Pioneer Ridge, passed away on Wednesday January 30, 2002. Born in Birch River, Manitoba, she came to Port Arthur with her family at 3 years of age. She had been a volunteer worker with the Canadian Red Cross, a member of Port Arthur Branch #5 Royal Canadian Legion.
She is survived by one son John (Debbie) of Pass Lake, one daughter Marlene Scully of Chilliwack B.C., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 4 brothers; Floyd (Noella) Prieston, Don (Lila) Preston of Thunder Bay, Ernest Prieston of Thunder Bay. and Austin (Rita) Prieston of Alberta, 2 sisters Marie (Yesta) Nyberg of Thunder Bay, and Metable Eggelson of Windsor. Predeceased by her husband John in 1975, son Ernest in 2001, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral service for the late Mildred Appel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday February 4, 2002 in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Dr. Robert William Welbourne formerly of Thunder Bay passed away in McCausland Hospital January 30, 2002. Dr. Welbourne was a plastic surgeon in Thunder Bay for 32 years. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Madge, daughter Sharon, sons David and Bruce, also sister Lorraine Leveque and brothers Earl (Angie), Lorne (Roberta), numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Julia Barbara Kierzkowski, age 75 years, of 355 Shuniah Street, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 28th, 2002. Born in Poznan, Poland, she came to Canada and Port Arthur in 1948. Julia's main interests were her home and family, and she enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing.
Julia is survived by her daughter Kristine (John) Fraser of Calgary, AB; son Ed (Anne) of Cochrane, AB; four grandchildren: Jacquie and Jason Fraser, Chris and Bob Kierzkowski. Also surviving are other relatives in Poland. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Kazimierz in 1991 and son Ted in infancy.

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of a wonderful Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Frank Szyja, on January 29, 2002. Frank was born on October 9, 1918 in Siemnow, Poland. He married his wife, Katherine, in 1945. They lived briefly in Germany and Belgium before coming to Canada in 1951. He was devoted to his family and received great-happiness from his many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also loved to spend time tending to his garden, cooking a variety of soups, and his nightly coffee with friends at Robins. He will be sadly missed by his children, Zigmunt (Joyce Elaine) Szyja of Winnipeg, Joseph Szyja of Thunder Bay, Rick (Eileen) Szyja of Calgary, Nina (Don) Sutton of Thunder Bay, John (Laura) Szyja of Thunder Bay, Donald (Susan) Szyja of London, George (Cheryl) Szyja of Thunder Bay along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Katherine, on September 18, 1997 and their son Henry Szyja on October 31, 1993. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel with Rev. George Zebrowski ofm of St. Casimir's Church officiating. Mrs. Enneth May Heino of Oliver, formerly of Osoyoos, B.C. and Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away at McKinney Place Extended Care Unit at the age of 87 years, on Saturday, January 19, 2002. Enneth Heino (nee Robillard) was born on March 29, 1914 in O Connor Township in Northern Ontario. She worked in Port Arthur for a time until she met and married Bert Stewart. During her working years she spent much time at home as well as housekeeping and working her investments. She resided in Port Arthur for many years, and after a year on Vancouver Island returned to Port Arthur. In 1985 she married Henry Heino and together they travelled extensively and moved to Osoyoos in 1987. She was a resident of Sagebrush Lodge for some four years before moving to McKinney Place eighteen months ago. Enneth loved to travel, fish, dance, swim, cook, garden, socialize and successfully take on the investment world. She will be lovingly remembered by her family including her son Ray (Jennifer) Stewart of Oliver, B.C.; grandson Ray Jr. (Lesley) as well as great-grandchildren Natasha, Brianne, Burton, Jonathan and Daniel. The immediate family including Ray Stewart will be in attendance for services here in Thunder Bay. She was predeceased by her first husband Bert Stewart in 1982, her second husband Henry Heino in 1990, her nine siblings as well as her grandson Rod in April 2001. Mr. Ronald (Ron) John William Miles age 58 years, formerly of N. Court Street, passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday, January 27, 2002. Born in Port Arthur, he had lived here all his life and married Helen Osmulski in 1965. A heavy equipment operator and truck driver by trade, he was forced into early retirement due to ill health. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, fishing (especially at Arrow Lake) and in his younger years enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by sons, Stephen (Julie Wowk) and Dale (Larysa Martynova) both of Thunder Bay, and daughter Michelle Sloane (Michael) of Rochester, Minnesota (enroute), and grandchildren Mikael and Hanna Sloane of Rochester. Also survived by his former wife Helen Billbrough of Thunder Bay, who remained his good friend. Predeceased by his parents Glen and Edna Miles.
Memorial funeral services for the late Mr. Ron Miles will be held on Friday, February 1, 2002, at 11:00 am in Intola Baptist Church, Mapleward Road (just north of Dawson Road), with Pastor Len Nolan officiating. Services complete in the church. If friends so desire, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Mrs. Anna Skalbe, age 85 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, died at her residence, January 26, 2002. Born in Austria, she had been a longtime resident of the city. Anna was a private person, who was an accomplished concert pianist, having played at Current River United Church. Lovingly remembered by her longtime friend Irene MacDonald. She was predeceased by her husband John(Janis) in 1984. At Anna's request there will be no funeral service, with a Private Interment.

Ms. Audrey Patriquin-Lambert, age 47 years, passed away peacefully in McKellar Hospital surrounded by her family and friends at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2002. Audrey went quickly since she was only recently diagnosed with lung cancer on January 1, 2002. She will always br remembered by her close family and friends and is survived by 2 daughters Crystal Patriquin and Bonnie Proud who will miss her deeply, as well as 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 811 Isabella St., officiated by Cecil Smith. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or to Crystal Patriquin (to help fund interment of ashes in Nova Scotia) would be appreciated. A special thank you from the family to Dr. Simpson for being so supportive and to Cecil Smith for all of his help and strength.

The family of Vera Polonoski, age 55 years, announce with great-sadness, her unexpected passing at home on January 27th, 2002.
Vera was born March 17, 1946 in Hradec U Kadane, Czechoslovakia. She came to Canada as a child in 1951 and settled in Fort William. Vera attended St. Peter, St. Theresa Elementary Schools and Lakeview High School. Her first job was a Car Hop at A & W Drive-In on Cumberland Street; later employed by the T. Eaton Company, and laterally employed by Sears Canada in the payroll department for nine years. Vera was an active member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1212, the Polish Combatants Branch 219 and was also a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed her home, going to yard sales with her friends to find the ultimate buy, enjoyed her church teas, penny auctions, pet sitting her son's dogs and volunteering her time with many organizations. A very caring person, she went out of her way to help others and everyone was always made welcome in her home. Vera was very proud of her family and especially enjoyed devoting her time and attention to them.
She is survived by her husband Larry; two sons: Shawn (Gina) and Shane both of Thunder Bay; parents John and Mary Vilcek; three brothers: John Jr., Joseph and Melan (Cindy) all of Thunder Bay; nieces Johnna (Peter) Wragg, Melissa and Julie Vilcek; nephew Michael (Lisa) Vilcek all of Thunder Bay; mother-in-law Regina Polonoski of Thunder Bay. Also surviving are numerous relatives in Canada, USA and Europe. She was predeceased by her father-in-law Peter Polonoski and sister-in-law Linnea Vilcek.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church with Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Scott Gale. Private interment will take place in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street. Following the Prayers, Women of the Moose Chapter 1212 will hold a service of tribute. Visitation for family and friends will be held the same evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Vera's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Venerable Samuel Maitland - Archdeacon (retired from the Church of the Epiphany, Sudbury, Anglican Diocese of Algoma) peacefully at the Pines Long Term Care Residence, Bracebridge, on Saturday, January 26th, 2002 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Lough). Dear father of the late Dr. William Craymer and his wife Elizabeth of Bracebridge. Much loved grandfather of Michael Craymer (Mary) of Kanata and Jane Craymer (Don Mink), Stephen Craymer (Becky), John Craymer (Patty) and Mary Galetzka (Frank) all of Bracebridge. Great-grandfather of nine. Pre-deceased by his brother Jim Craymer and his sister Margaret Craymer and Frances Weary. Will be missed by his many friends and associates. Mr. Ivan Novak age 86 years of Thunder Bay passed away in hospital early Sunday morning, January 27, 2002.
Ivan was born August 26, 1915 in Knezak, Slovenia and he came to Canada in 1951, settling in Port Arthur. He was employed in area bush camps and later worked at Manitoba Wheat Pool Elevators until his retirement in 1980.
In 1958 he married Boza (Brkic) and together they raised two daughters Vera and Joyce. He was an active participant of the Slovenian Cultural Society.
He was affectionally known as "Dido" by his 4 grandchildren. His determination and zest for life never failed, and his wisdom, guidance and humor was appreciated by all.
Ivan is survived by his wife Boza. Two daughters; Joyce Pedri and husband Attilio, Vera Simcich. Grandchildren; Doris Simcich, Paul Simcich, Laura Pedri, Michael Pedri. Brothers; Cvete Novak, Ptuj, Slovenia, Louise Novak, Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia, Frank Novak, Melbourne, Australia. Sister Maria Volcic, Melbourne, Australia. Numerous nieces and nephews in Slovenia and Australia. Predeceased by mother Josphina Novak (Slavec) father Janes Novak, two brothers, Tony and Slave Novak.
Funeral service for the late Mr. Ivan Novak will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 leaving the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma at 9:40 a.m. to St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church for Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Scott Gale. Interment to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. in the Everest Chapel with prayers beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Mr. Russell Fredrick (Fred) Buckley, age 64 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Saturday, January 26th, 2002 in St. Joseph Hospice.
Fred was born in Auburton, Saskatchewan on October 27th, 1937. He moved to Fort William as a young boy and attended local schools. He retired from Bombardier in 2000 after 34 years of service. Fred was a member of Local 1075 CAW, and a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Fred was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lois, daughter Charlotte (David), sons Russell, Richard (Susan), grandchildren Candice, Meagan and Kylee (both enroute), Joseph (enroute), Ryan and Tanner. Lovingly remembered by his sister Kathleen Gilgan (Bill) enroute, brother Clinton (Alice) (enroute) and numerous brother and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. His father Harold Joseph Buckley, his mother Barbara Pearl, stepmother Mary, grandsons Robin and Nicholas predeceased him.
A memorial funeral service for Mr.Buckley will be held in the Chapel of Jenkens Funeral home 226 S. Syndicate Ave., on Wednesday, January 30th, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Sparks officiating. A private interment will be held in Mountain View Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, St. Joseph's Hospice or the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Su (Sachiko) Sakiyama of Thunder Bay went to be with the Lord she loved, on Friday, January 25th, 2002. Su was born in Vancouver, B.C., later moving to Winnipeg where she met and married Min Sakiyama.
Together they moved to Fort William in the early 1950 s.
Su was predeceased by her parents, step-mother and a son, Gregory, in infancy. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Minoru, daughter Cindy, son, Gordon, son Steven (Cathy) and her precious grandchildren, Adam and Claire. She is also survived by sister Kiyo Yamada (Winnipeg), brothers Nagy (Fumi) Nishihara (Princeton, B.C.) and Jimmy (June) Nishihara (Port Coquitlam, B.C.) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Su was very active in her church, Westmount Gospel Chapel, devoting herself to serving, ministering to the needs of others, teaching Sunday School, and participating in the Ladies Bible Study. Prior to her illness she was an active member of the Fort William Country Club, and the 55 Plus Club of the Lakehead Japanese Cultural Association, especially enjoying the Karaoke group. She loved her sports - especially baseball. She was a great-fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Susupported all her children and grandchildren's activities and was so proud of their achievements.
All who knew Su, loved her. We will never forget her sparkling eyes, her laughter, her love and generosity. Although her family and home were important to her, Su believed that her blessings were meant to be shared. She was generous of heart and was a Christian example to all who knew her.
A celebration of Su's life will be held on Monday, January 28th, 2002 at First Baptist Church, 308 Red River Road at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Knight officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westmount Gospel Chapel or a charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the staff on 6th South McKellar Site for their compassionate care. We would also like to thank Su's physicians for their kind professionalism: Drs. Malik, Davis, Fiddler, Weeks, Gamble, Biman, Gehman and their Residents.

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Murray, age 82 years of Mount Forest Boulevard passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10, 2001 with her family by her side. Born and raised in Fort William, Margaret was married in 1940 to Walter Bithrey, who predeceased her in 1949. As a young widow, she worked at Kresge's for 11 years to support her children. In 1963, she married Archibald Murray, who predeceased her in February 2000. Margaret's interests centered around home and family-knitting, sewing, and especially tavelling and RV ing with Archie. Her six grandchildren were her special pride and joy. Margaret will be remembered by: her children Brenda (Tom) Wright, Reg (Susan) Bithrey and Alice (Patrick) Gleeson; cherished grandchildren Craig and Kathryn Wright, Colin (Leslie) Cook-Bithrey and Trevor Bithrey, Sara Gleeson (husband George Rusnak) and Murray Gleeson; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Jean Ross, Rhoda McLaughlin, Violet Laakso and Evelyn Saunders. Margaret is predeceased by her sisters Vera Beck, Rita Mintenko, Evelyn Fratpietro and Viola Flint; brothers Wilbert and Harold Saunders.
