Sam retired from Holly Sugar after 31 years of service. Sam was an active member of Colorado Colleges Fifty Year Club. Survivors include his wife, Mary Bloom Vickerman 32, and his son, Jay 63.
W. Henry Willie 33, Colorado Springs, Sept. 9. Henry was a retired teacher and school administrator. Henry served as president of Colorado Colleges Fifty Year Club from 1984-87 and served on the National Alumni Councils nominations and awards committee from 1987-88. The college awarded him the Lloyd E. Worner Award in 1986 for his volunteer service to the college. He and his wife, Audrey, were famous for their postcards from the road as they called on alumni all over the country in their many motorhome trips. Class Notes for the classes of the 30s were enriched by his dedication to staying in touch with alumni. Henry was a true ambassador for Colorado College wherever he went. In addition to Audrey, Henry is survived by his son, Bill, and numerous other family members.
