Richard Edward "Dick" Fulton, 72, of Loveland, died of cancer Dec. 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 10, 1929, in Scottsbluff, Neb., to George Edward and Sylvia Deena Phillips Fulton. He was raised in Gering, Neb., and graduated from Gering High School. He married Carolea E. Warner on Oct. 8, 1949, in Gering.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy submarine service following high school.
He began his career as a machinist with Great Western Sugar Co. following the service and retired as plant manager.
He worked for Great Western Sugar Co. in Mitchell, Bayard and Gering, Neb., Lovell, Wyo., Billings, Mont., Loveland and Greeley, Goodland, Kan., and Findley, Ohio.
He retired from Great Lakes Sugar Co. in 1988 due to declining health.
He and his wife moved to Loveland to be near family following retirement.
He enjoyed playing pool at the Chilson Center and bowled in four senior leagues. He was an avid hunter and fisherman earlier in life.
Mr. Fulton is survived by his wife, Carolea E. Fulton of Loveland; a son, Richard L. Fulton and wife Charleen of Loveland; two daughters, Peggy Billmire of Berthoud, and Laurie Bosley and husband Barry of Loveland; three brothers, Ray Fulton and wife Winnie of Alliance, Neb., Scott Fulton and wife Sherry of Sidney, Neb., and Jack Fulton and wife Mary of Northglenn; three sisters, Zelma Miller and husband Kenneth of Mattawa, Wash., Janice DeBoer and husband Bill of Morrill, Neb., and Marylee Bragg of Gering; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been conducted.
Private family graveside services will be conducted.

HIPPE:
Ethel M. Hippe. Funeral services 1 p.m. today, Thursday, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Ethel Marie Hippe, 89, formerly of Loveland, died Dec. 8, 2001, in Thornton.
She was born March 2, 1912, in Kansas City, Mo., to Willis Bertram England and Elva Bryant. She married Steven Hippe on July 7, 1930.
Mrs. Hippe lived in the Loveland area for about 25 years and worked for the Green Thumb outreach program. She also worked for numerous restaurants in Colorado and Arizona.
She enjoyed traveling and making rag dolls for children.
She is survived by daughters Esther Elder of Denver, Darlene Alexander of Loveland and Alia Scott of Yukon, Idaho; brother Louis England of California; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Hippe; son George "Buck" Locke; grandson John Locke; and sister Vida Brock.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Loveland.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

HUNTER:
Annie "Juanita" Hunter of Loveland. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church. Viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the Allnutt-Hunter Chapel. Interment Loveland Burial Park. Annie "Juanita" Hunter, 80, of Loveland, died Dec. 8, 2001, at McKee Medical Center.
She was born April 22, 1921, in Kansas, Okla., to W. Thomas Jackson and Addie Brady Jackson. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1939.
She married Ward Curtis in March 1942 in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He died Feb. 7, 1987. She then married Delmer Hunter Aug. 4, 1993, in Loveland.
Mrs. Hunter worked for REA in Fort Morgan from 1957 to 1965. She then worked in the finance department at Hewlett-Packard in Loveland from 1966 until her retirement in 1983. She worked after her retirement for Rowes Flowers and Gifts from 1987 to 1994.
She was a former resident of Fort Morgan and had lived in Loveland since 1965.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time at their cabin in the Big Thompson Canyon. She enjoyed family time and visiting with people. She loved family holidays. She never met a stranger. She was proud of her Cherokee heritage.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she belonged to the Mary Circle. She held several offices in her church, including being a current member of the Diaconate.
She was an honorary member of the Philo Club and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was active in the community as past Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls. She was a member of Chapter LM PEO, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary where she had served as state secretary. She was a member of Hewlett-Packard Agilent Retirees Club. She was also active in the community assisting at local grade schools.
She is survived by her husband, Delmer Hunter of Loveland; son Mike Curtis and wife Chris of Longmont; daughter Kim Kuxhausen and husband Dave of Loveland; stepsons Del Hunter and wife Linda of Aurora and Doug Hunter and wife Janet of Atlanta; grandsons Ryan Kuxhausen and wife Amanda of Lawrence, Kan., Todd Kuxhausen and wife Brooke of Loveland and Kevin Hunter and wife Kristen of Savannah, Ga.; grandchildren Jody and Brady Curtis of Hollywood and Santa Barbara, Calif., Darin, Joel, Eric and Jennifer Hunter of Atlanta, Alex, Barbara and Katie Hunter of Aurora, and Mindi and Bill Schwamle of Longmont; great-grandchild Alex Schwamle of Longmont; several nephews and nieces; brother Doyle Jackson of Loveland; sisters Lucille Galka and husband John of Cheyenne and Bette Rae Burda and husband Ed of Sonora, Calif.; and sister-in-law Evelyn Hammond of Arvada.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ward Curtis; brother Dale Jackson; and sister Thelma Hipps.
A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Loveland. The Revs. Rick Truitt and Harvey Ruegsegger will officiate.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the Allnutt-Hunter Chapel.

MILLER:

Glendora Faye Miller, 74, of Loveland, died Dec. 9, 2001, at McKee Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1927, to Arthur Headley and Mary Christina Fensler.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and worked as a reservationist for Frontier Airlines for 10 years before retiring in 1989.
She moved to Loveland a year ago from Grand Junction, where she had lived for 14 years. She also lived in Denver and Omaha.
She loved dancing, singing, yoga, the performing arts and walking. She was a great seamstress and an artist.
She is survived by her son, Rod Miller and wife Rebecca of Overland Park, Kan.; daughters Gail Overton and husband David Stoner of Boulder, Karen Reich and husband Walter of Aurora, Susan Miller and husband Tom of New Castle, Colo., and Becky Miller and husband Tony of Brighton; brothers Harvey Wayne Headley of Louisville, Art Headley of Ogden, Utah, and Floyd Headley of Nebraska City, Neb.; and sister Eileen Williams of Omaha; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Benson Sculpture Park Circle 11 a.m. Friday.

MINER:
Mae M. Miner, 88, of Loveland, died Dec. 7, 2001, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Chicago, to Onofrio and Frances Meccia Catalano. She married Paul Miner on May 28, 1947, in Iowa. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1986.
She was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated a radiator shop in Loveland and a marina at Boyd Lake.
She moved to Loveland in 1961 from Cozad, Neb.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes, going out for dinner and walking.
Mrs. Miner is survived by three nieces, Jean Carone of Des Plaines, Ill., Marlene Rivara of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Ellen Byrne of Chicago; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Cremation has been conducted.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Chicago at a later date.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

OLSON:

Emagene Olson, 81, of Loveland, died Dec. 7, 2001, at McKee Medical Center.
She was born May 10, 1920, in Benedict, Neb., to Daniel E. and Eda M. Wiesemancq Powell.
She graduated from Osceola, Neb., High School in 1937.
She married Henry H. Olson on June 22, 1940, in Osceola.
Mrs. Olson worked as an ophthalmologist assistant for 25 years in Fort Collins before retiring in 1981. She also worked at Sam's Club as a demonstrator for one and a half years.
She came to Loveland in 1976 from Fort Collins.
She loved to camp, knit, travel and paint ceramics.
She is survived by a son, Daniel Olson of Eaton; a daughter, Joan Kay Zach of Denver; three sisters, Alycecq Marie Mentink and husband Gerald of Stromsburg, Neb., Leah Leonard of Omaha, Neb., and Maribeth Sall and husband Ray of Chappell, Neb.; three children, Melissa Dedrick and husband Jay, Robert Zach and Dan Olson II, all of Loveland; and a great-granddaughter, Mallory Olson of Loveland.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dave Lillie officiating.
Burial will be in Loveland Burial Park.
PIERCE:
Sara Blanche Pierce of Loveland. Cremation will be conducted. Memorial services will be held Dec. 22 in Hastings, Neb.
Sara Blanche Pierce was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Cairo, Neb., to Ethel (Peters) and Otis Burry.
She died Dec. 7, 2001, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was 90.
A memorial service will be held Dec. 22 in Hastings, Neb.
Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery in Hastings.
She graduated from Shelton High School in 1926 at the age of 15. She attended Kearney Normal School, a teacher's college, that summer, and began teaching in a rural school in Ravenna, Neb., prior to her 16th birthday.
She taught for 30 years.
Her parents relocated to Ericson, Neb., and she taught there.
She married Frank W. Pierce of Ericson on Dec. 27, 1938 in Gering, Neb. She quit teaching to raise a family.
They lived in Denver, Cairo, Neb., and Ericson.
Blanche began teaching again in 1955 in Ericson. She also taught at Bartlett and a rural Garfield County school until 1967.
She served at Wheeler County superintendent of schools and as a member of the Ericson Rural High School board of education.
She also assisted her husband, who managed the Pierce Drug Sundry Store.
In 1967, they moved to Sargent, Neb., where she and Frank managed a jewelry and drug sundry store. She attended Cliff Mann Floral School in Denver and then worked at a floral shop in Sargent.
She served on the Sargent Nursing Home board of directors and was a member of the Sargent chapter of the PEO.
Gardening, growing flowers and flower arrangement were her favorite hobbies.
She and her husband managed the Hamilton Motor Inn in Aurora, Neb., then the Erin Rancho Motel in Grand Island before retiring to Hastings in 1978.
Mr. Pierce died Dec. 4, 1991.
Blanche was a member of Grace United Church in Hastings.
In Ericson, she taught Sunday school, led the junior and senior choirs, was involved in Methodist Youth Fellowship, served as Sunday school superintendent and was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service.
In Sargent, she was a member of the Methodist Church Miriam Circle.
Blanche made her home at the Haven Home of Kenesaw, Neb., from 1993 to 2001, when she moved to the Sierra Vista Care Center in Loveland.
She is survived by three daughters, Muriel Nelson and husband Don of Chandler, Ariz., Lorrie Nelson and husband Dr. G. Lynn of Tempe, Ariz., and Linda Boysen and husband Bob of Loveland, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a grandson, an infant brother, and sister Berniece Allen of Grand Island.
REICHERT:

Hannah Reichert, 84, died at the Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud on Friday, Dec. 7, 2001.
She was born April 16, 1917, in Berthoud to George and Anna Marie Bauer Adler.
She attended schools in Berthoud and had worked at Garvin's Grocery Store in Berthoud.
She met and married Jake Reichert in Berthoud on Nov. 25, 1941, and he served in the U.S. Army from 1942-45.
When he returned from service, he and Hannah farmed in Johnstown and the Berthoud area for 32 years.
They retired from farming in 1982 and moved to Loveland.
Hannah loved canning, tending her flower and vegetable garden and working beside her husband.
She was a member of First Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jake Reichert of Loveland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Congregational Church, the Rev. Jonathan Winans officiating.
Viewing will be 1-5 p.m. Monday and at the conclusion of services at the church on Tuesday.
Burial will be at Loveland Burial Park.
