Rachel DeLaughter, 69, of Loveland, died Jan. 28, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Loveland, to Jacob H. and Mary Stroh Bath.
She attended schools in Loveland.
She married Acy O. DeLaughter Nov. 6, 1949, in Loveland.
Mrs. DeLaughter was a homemaker and lived in Loveland for most of her life. She loved gardening and roses. She collected statues and enjoyed craftwork and jewelry. She loved pretty things.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Acy O. DeLaughter; son Terry Ray DeLaughter of Lacey, Wash.; daughter Connie Lynn Grizzard and husband Travis of Phoenix; brothers Dan Bath and wife Bessie of Loveland, Henry "Chick" Bath of Loveland, and Manuel Bath and wife Rose of Evans; sister Hannah Zimmerman of Loveland; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Cremation will be conducted.
Arrangements are being handled by Allnutt-Hunter Funeral Service.

Dorothy F. Junker of Loveland, formerly of Worthington, Minn. Final services and interment through Lynch-Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington, Minn.
Dorothy F. Junker, 84, of Loveland, died Feb. 1, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 22, 1916, in Round Lake, Minn., to Charles and Bessie Dohlman Kinsey.
She married Edmund Junker on Feb. 4, 1934, in Rost Town, Minn.
She worked as a waitress and cook in restaurants and nightclubs before retiring for health reasons.
She is survived by sons Dwayne Junker and wife Kay of Bonita, Calif., Craig Junker of Loveland, and Randy Junker and wife Bonnie of Worthington, Minn.; daughters Sheila Pirnie and husband Russell of Loveland, and Janice Anderson of Greeley; brothers Melvin Kinsey and wife Leona of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Herbert Kinsey of Wallace, Idaho; sister Verna Gentry of Storden, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Junker, on Dec. 12, 1988; three brothers; and three sisters.
Viewing and visitation with family present will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
Final services and burial will be arranged through the Lynch-Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington, Minn.
PHIPPS:
Harold Phipps, 79, of Loveland, formerly of Pahrump, Nev., died Jan. 28, 2001, at North Shore Health Care Facility in Loveland.
He was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Paducah, Ky., to Stanley E. and Mabel Potter Phipps. He married Ruth Owen in 1950, in Paducah. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Mr. Phipps lived in Paducah before moving to Pahrump, Nev., in 1984. He moved to Loveland in December 2000 to stay with his sister-in-law, Dotti Bethel.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He played the omnichord for various senior activities in Pahrump. He also volunteered for the RSVP program as a van driver, taking people to doctor's appointments. He was a ham radio operator.
Mr. Phipps is survived by a sister-in-law, Dotti Bethel of Loveland.
Cremation has been conducted at Reager Crematory.
Burial will be in Mount Kenton Cemetery in Paducah, at a later date.

PONDER:

N. Maxine "Max" Ponder, 78, of Loveland, died Jan. 27, 2001, at a local nursing home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Topeka, Kan., to Cecil and Emily Stone McGanahan.
She married Holly G. Ponder on Nov. 4, 1943, in Clovis, N.M.
Mrs. Ponder was a homemaker. She moved to Loveland in 1964 from Vandenburg Air Force Base, Calif.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Topeka for 51 years.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed genealogy.
She is survived by her husband, Holly, of Loveland; son Don Ponder and wife Kathy of Augusta, Kansas; brother Don McGanahan of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Ponder.
Cremation has been conducted. No further services are scheduled.

STAMP:
LeNeita Jean Stamp, 70, of Longmont, died Jan. 31, 2001, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Traer, Iowa, to Leonard Lee and Florence Stoakes Reigle.
She attended a country school through eighth grade and graduated from Traer High School in 1947. She attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and graduated in December 1950.
She was a home economist for Butler County in Allison, Iowa, and in Council Bluffs, Iowa, until her marriage. She married James Stamp on May 5, 1956, in Council Bluffs. He preceded her in death in 1990.
They farmed in Persia, Iowa, until 1961, when they moved to Denver. They moved to Broomfield in 1964, and to a farm four miles east of Longmont in 1969. She moved to Fort Collins in 1991.
She owned and managed commercial property in Loveland for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Stamp was a member of the Friends of the Library, both in Longmont and Fort Collins, a 4-H leader for many years and involved in the 4-H project known as Operation Easter Bunny, delivering Easter baskets to senior citizens. She was active in the American Association of University Women and the AAUW annual book fair.
As a longtime member of Bible Study Fellowship, she was the BSF Grandma, looking after the children of BSF leaders for many years. She enjoyed children, especially teaching Sunday school and Child Evangelism Good News Clubs.
Mrs. Stamp is survived by two sons, Robert Stamp and wife Lora of Longmont, and Jeff Stamp and wife Teresa of Mead; three daughters, Linda Sundberg and husband Dana of Arlington, Va., Alleta Baltes and husband Rodney of Riverton, Wyo., and Amy Jean Stamp of Longmont; a brother, Russ Reigle and wife Jo of Brighton; two sisters, Dorothy Buxton and husband Tom of Wiley, and Evie Coie and husband John of Fairfax, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Adam Stamp, Emily Stamp, Zac Stamp, Amanda Baltes, Amber Baltes, Andrew Baltes, Kimberly Stamp, Jillian Stamp, Christina Stamp, and Rebecca Stamp.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sterling, brother-in-law, Fred Stamp and wife Marilyn, and two nieces, Lynn and Diane Reigle.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, with the Rev. John Thieme officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Berthoud.

Mary D. Asplin, 88, of Loveland, died March 29, 2001, at McKee Medical Center.
She was born May 22, 1912, in Stanton, Neb., to John W. and Stella Kucera Drapela. She graduated from Stanton High School in 1930.
She taught in one-room schools in the Stanton County and Bega, Neb., school systems for six years. While teaching, she attended Wayne State Teachers College in Wayne, Neb. She later attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
She married Irving L. "Irv" Asplin on Aug. 16, 1936, in Norfolk, Neb. They moved to Riverton, Wyo., in 1938, to Cheyenne in 1941, and came to Loveland in 1978. He preceded her in death April 8, 1986.
In Cheyenne, Mrs. Asplin owned and operated the Charm Beauty Salon for 21 years.
She was a past matron of Oak Leaf Chapter No. 6, Order of Eastern Star, in Cheyenne, and past matron of Orient Chapter No. 23, Order of Eastern Star, in Loveland.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cheyenne and Loveland.
She made her home at the Loveland Good Samaritan Village since 1989.
She is survived by sons Martin "Marty" Asplin and wife Bonnie of Boulder City, Nev., and Lyle Asplin and wife Marsha of Katy, Texas; daughter Rosalie Boldin and husband Jim of Austin, Texas; brother John Drapela and wife Vonnie of Denver; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Vlasta Giustino.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Priscilla Fussman of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens north of Loveland. A reception at First United Methodist Church will follow.

BELT:
June Audrey Belt, 65, formerly of Loveland, died March 20, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was born Dec. 30, 1935, in Naperville, Ill., to Emma and Clarence Gilchrist.
She moved to Loveland from Naperville in 1975. She moved to California in 1987.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, George Belt; a son, William Belt, of Carmichael, Calif.; two daughters, Elizabeth Thorson and husband Larry of Morris, Ill., and Barbara Wolfe and husband George of San Diego; a sister, Joyce Roehlk and husband Robert of St. Charles, Ill.; sisters-in-law Louise Gilchrist of Aurora, Ill., Ann Menneoh and husband John, and Carrie Belt, of Morrison, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Delmar Gilchrist; a sister, Jane Gilchrist; and a niece, Robin Barker.
Services were private.
Arrangements were handled by Valley Memorial Cremation and Burial, Las Vegas.
BLINDE:
Marjorie Blinde, 83, of Loveland, died March 24, 2001, in Loveland.
She was born Dec. 31, 1917, in Kiowa to Ralph B. and Edith Deeds Maul. She graduated from Kiowa High School in 1935 with letters in track and basketball.
She moved to Denver after high school, where she worked for various downtown companies. She met Wilson L. Blinde at a dance, and they married Sept. 1, 1941, in Tucson, Ariz.
The Blindes moved to Arvada in the early 1950s, where she started work as a rural mail carrier. When they moved to Longmont in the early '60s, she was among the first women to work for the Longmont Post Office, again as a rural carrier. She later worked as a machine operator for the Coors porcelain plant.
Mr. and Mrs. Blinde both retired in 1972. The traveled around the western states, then settled in Fort Collins. They moved to Loveland in the 1980s.
Mrs. Blinde was an avid reader and grew prolific vegetable and flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Wilson L. Blinde; sons Ray, of Valencia, Calif., and Gene, of Los Angeles; daughters Bette, of Red Feather Lakes, and Gail, of Fort Collins; and five granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Maul.
Services and burial were at Crown Hill Cemetery in Lakewood.
