LOCKWOOD:
Glen Ivan Lockwood, 84, of Loveland, died Sept. 14, 2004, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
He was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Kiowa, Kan., to William and Bertha Catlin Lockwood. He married Rita Reichardt in 1946 in Linden, N.J. They were together for 58 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1940 to 1960 and retired after 20 years.
He moved to Loveland in September 1985 from Longmont.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Lockwood of Loveland; two daughters, Maureen Fleeman of Loveland, and Kathleen Clement and husband John of Danville, Pa.; two sons, Glenn of Fort Collins, and Gary and wife Donna of Aurora; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica Lockwood of Fort Collins; special family friend, Kandess Devlin of Fort Collins.
He was preceded in death by his father, William, mother, Bertha, and brother, Gilford.
Graveside services with military honors will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

LOPEZ:
Rachel L. Lopez, 7, of Loveland died Sept. 11, 2004, at The Children’s Hospital in Denver as the result of a head-on collision on Colorado 7 just west of Brighton.
She was born Dec. 10, 1996, in Loveland to Corinna Cormier and Kurt Johnson. She attended Garfield Elementary School and was a student in Mrs. Marilyn Cummings’ second grade class.
She was a seven-year member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing and gymnastics, dressing up and applying glitter in her hair. She also loved music, learning, watching MTV and camping in the mountains with her mother and sisters.
She is survived by sisters Rochelle Cormier and Roxanne Cormier, both of Loveland; aunts and uncles Kathy Encinias and husband Santos of Loveland and Karen Lopez and husband Alfonso of Denver; and grandmother Ramona Trinidad Lopez of Loveland.
Cremation has been conducted. The rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Thursday at St. John’s Catholic Church with Deacon Paul Salas.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. John’s by the Rev. Joseph Hartmann.

NORRIS:
Steven LeRoy Norris III, 45, of Loveland died Sept. 9, 2004, in a local hospital.
He was born Dec. 24, 1958, in Baltimore, Md., to Jim and Ida Norris. He graduated from high school in Houston, Texas, in 1975 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy the same year. He served honorably for more than 10 years in both surface and submarine fleets.
Mr. Norris was a carpenter and maintenance man in the Fort Collins area for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra June (Billings) Norris of Carr; son Justin Michael Norris of Bonneau, S.C.; daughters Brandy Lynn and husband Michael Aiken of Goose Creek, S.C., Crystal Marie Norris and Sherry Leigh Norris; three grandchildren; his parents, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; brothers Jim Norris of Lebanon, Ill., John Norris of London, Ky., and Tom Norris of San Diego; and sister Linda Honick of Phoenix.
Viewing will be noon to 2 p.m. today, followed by a funeral service at John XXIII Catholic Church, the Rev. Don Willette officiating.
RICHARDSON:
Gage Dakota Richardson, infant son of Melissa Harnden and Travis Richardson of Laramie, Wyo., formerly of Loveland. Memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday, September 16 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
Infant Gage Dakota Richardson, 4 months, of Laramie, Wyo., died Sept. 8, 2004, at Children’s Hospital in Denver.
He was born April 13, 2004, in Laramie, to Travis D. Richardson and Melissa (Sanchez) Harnden.
He is survived by his parents, Travis D. Richardson and Melissa A. Harnden of Laramie, formerly of Loveland; two brothers, Jeremy Harnden and Travis Harnden, both of Laramie; grandparents, Darlene Criswell of Loveland, Carol Sanchez and Mark Neckel of Fort Collins, Lance Richardson of Sterling, and Anthony Sanchez of Fort Collins; an aunt, Tiffany Richardson of Loveland; uncles, Mark Sanchez of Laramie, and Jacob Cooper of Loveland; and numerous cousins.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Hartmann of St. John’s Catholic Church will officiate.

TURNER:
Jerry Turner, 76, of Olympia, Wash., formerly of Loveland, died Sept. 2, 2004, in Olympia.
He was born Sept. 9, 1927, in Loveland. He was artistic director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival from 1971 to 1991.
He graduated from the University of Colorado, and received a doctorate in theater from the University of Illinois. He began his career at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as an actor in 1957 and director in 1959. During the academic year he was associate professor of drama and department chairman at Humboldt State College at Arcata, Calif., from 1957 to 1964. He was chairman of the department of drama at the University of California at Riverside from 1964 to 1970, and professor of drama. In 1970 he was elected the first chairman of the faculty of the college of humanities and received a UC Humanities Institute Fellowship to study theater in Sweden. He learned the language, discovered Strindberg, saw Ingmar Bergman’s stage work at the Malmo Civic Theatre and returned to the states with a new vision for theatrical work. When he returned to OSF in 1971, it was to take up the post of producing director. He became artistic director in 1981 (a title change only), retiring in 1991. During his tenure he directed more than 40 productions, and a number of his own translations.
He is survived by Mary Turner, his wife of 36 years; his daughter and son, Erika Turner Britton and Michael Turner of Riverside, Calif.; his stepson, Ralph Young of Olympia; his brother, Robert of Loveland; his sister, Dorothy Prewitt of Ruidoso, N.M.

ALSTON:
Mary P. Alston, 85, of Berthoud died Sept. 20, 2004, in Berthoud.
She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Macon, Ga., to Marion and Clare Kay Alston. She worked at Poudre Valley Hospital as a licensed practical nurse for four years. She was also a volunteer at many nursing homes throughout Northern Colorado.
She volunteered at the Berthoud Senior Center and Chilson Center in Loveland. She also was a tour guide at a museum in Midway, Ga.
She enjoyed Civil War and World War II history. She also enjoyed playing bridge.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Kerr and wife Christy of Loveland, and James Kerr and wife Sandi of Sheridan, Wyo.; three daughters, Frances Kerr of Loveland, Stephanie Robbins of Arvada, and Kathy Kerr and husband John Lusk of Cheraw, Colo.; two sisters, Elizabeth Hurlbut and Mabel Alston, both of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Kerr, in 1980.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Valley Assembly of God, 186 S. Wilson Ave. in Loveland.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens north of Loveland.

CURTIS:
Darby Curtis of Loveland. Memorial service 10 a.m., Saturday, September 25 at First United Methodist Church.
Darby Ann Curtis of Loveland, born April 29, 1954, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Arthur and Margaret Erickson Ewald, died suddenly at her home Monday, Sept. 20, 2004.
A graduate of Greeley West High School in 1972, Darby attended Mountain College in Steamboat Springs. She married Peter Curtis on May 31, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev., and until 1979 was a resident of Steamboat Springs.
Darby was a medical assistant at Aspen Medical Center in Loveland and was also an instructor for College America in Fort Collins, teaching medical assistant courses. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She also enjoyed being outdoors, spending time boating, playing cribbage and scrapbooking, especially for her family.
Preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Wanda Ewald, she is survived by her husband, Peter Curtis; son, Tyler Curtis, both of Loveland; daughter, Meghan Curtis of Steamboat Springs; parents, Margaret Ewald of Loveland, and Art Ewald of Greeley; brothers, Jack Ewald of Denver, and Doug Ewald of Greeley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 533 Grant Ave., Loveland.
HOUSH:
Clarence E. Housh, 84, of Glen Haven died Sept. 21, 2004, at Estes Park Medical Center.
He was born May 21, 1920, in Lincoln, Neb., to Albert and Nellie Mae (Littlebridges) Housh. He married Mary Grafton on Oct. 17, 1940, in Platte City, Mo.
He spent four years in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a forward scout in an armored division, with tours in Germany and Belgium.
Mr. Housh was a self-employed house painter and antique dealer in the Kansas City, Mo., area.
In 1970, he and his wife fulfilled a lifelong dream and moved to Glen Haven, where they had owned property since 1950. After moving, the couple continued their antique business and sold items from locations in Loveland and Fort Collins.
For the last few months of his life, he lived at Prospect Park Living Center in Estes Park.
He is survived by a son, Clarence E. Housh Jr. and partner Jean Bradshaw of Kansas City; a daughter, Betty Todd of Estes Park; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Housh, and a daughter, Judy Chapin.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Allnutt Funeral Service’s Estes Park Chapel. Friends not attending the
service can stop by the funeral home to sign a register book from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

LANGDAHL:
Bernard A. Langdahl of Loveland, formerly of Duluth, Minn. Cremation. An open house in honor of Bernard will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 19 at the home of his granddaughter, Karen Kirkley, 152 Lark Bunting Ave. in Loveland.
Bernard A. Langdahl, 94, of Loveland, formerly of Duluth, Minn., died Sept. 18, 2004, at his Loveland home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1910, in Duluth to Ingeborg Stavne and Ole Pedre Langdahl.
He married Lorraine B. Ericson Aug. 24, 1936, in St. Louis County, Minn.
He worked as a game warden in Minnesota for 30 years.
He moved to Loveland two years ago from Duluth.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Duluth.
He loved woodworking, tailoring, fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his grand children.
He is survived by granddaughters, Nancy Lanning and husband Larry of Allentown, Pa., Diane Greene and husband Jim of Thornton, Karen Kirkley of Loveland, Kristi Nielsen of Fort Collins and Lana Rios and husband Eric of Loveland; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine B. Langdahl; two daughters and one sister.
An open house in honor of Bernard was held in Loveland Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at the home of his granddaughter, Karen Kirkley.
Cremation has taken place.

LEONARD:
Beverly J. “Bev” Leonard of Longmont died Sept. 17, 2004, at HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties Care Center in Louisville.
She was 68.
She was born July 3, 1936, in Norcatur, Kan., to Carl and Helen (Jones) Jacobson.
She married Wayne Leonard Aug. 4, 1957, in Pauls Valley, Okla.
She was a homemaker and also an assembler for Picker Electronics and Stayodyne Engineering and Measurements.
She was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club of America. She enjoyed embroidery, crochet, birds and animals.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Jacobson.
She is survived by her husband of Longmont; a son, Ron Leonard of Longmont; two daughters, Sandy Gwin and her husband Scott of Longmont and Sharon Leonard of Longmont; three grandchildren, Kelly, Ryan and Heather Gwin and a great-grandchild, Jasmine Solis.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with David Bradshaw of LifeBridge Christian Church officiating. Cremation held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
MOORE:
Margaret Moore, 89, of Fort Collins, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, in Fort Collins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at The Community of Christ Church, 220 E. Oak St. in Fort Collins. The Rev. Gary Clark will officiate.
Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, from 4 to 7 p.m.
A private family interment will be held in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins.
Margaret Emily Merrill was born on April 22, 1915, in Rantoul, Kan., the daughter of Franklin Winslow and Zatella May (Stratton) Merrill. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kan., and attended Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, for one year. A former resident of Kansas City, Kan., she had resided in Fort Collins since January 1977. Margaret married William Hamilton Moore on Aug. 19, 1937, in Grandview, Kan. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1984.
Mrs. Moore was a member of and secretary for The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kansas City. She was a member of the Newcomer’s Club, the Aspen Club, a hiking group, and various card clubs. She loved music, cooking, traveling, sightseeing, crafts, and square dancing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Margaret Fulton and her husband Bob of Fort Collins, and Janice Maureen June of Loveland. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Rob Fulton, Melanie Fronapfel, Carnie Fulton, Bryce and Christopher June, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Alec and Keenan Fronapfel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Herbert Merrill.
