Glennie J. Peery, 99, of Loveland, died March 26, 2001, in a local nursing home.
She was born Aug. 21, 1901, in Arapahoe, Neb., to William S. and Louise Blanche Constance D'Allemand Curry.
She married Lloyd Milton Peery May 15, 1949, in Lincoln, Neb. He preceded her in death March 19, 1989.
Mrs. Peery taught art at Walnut Junior High School in Grand Island, Neb.
She moved to Loveland in 1955, where she and her husband established the Peery Stationary and Gift Shop on East Fourth Street in Loveland. They sold the business in 1968. They also had a store in Estes Park for several years in the early 1960s.
Mrs. Peery was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and volunteered at Loveland Good Samaritan.
She is survived by nephews Donald Ayars and wife Gloria of Lincoln, and Ramon Ayars and wife Alice of Lincoln; nieces Helen Johnson of Minneapolis, Minn., and Harriett Williams of St. Peter, Minn.; sister-in-law Lorna Curry of Oregon; numerous greatnieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been conducted.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Priscilla Fussman officiating.
Burial will be at First United Methodist Church Columbarium.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or Loveland Good Samaritan Retirement Village.

ZIMMERMAN:
Henry Zimmerman of Loveland. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, at Zion Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of the Allnutt-Hunter Chapel.
Henry Zimmerman, 92, of Loveland, died March 28, 2001, at Alterra Sterling House assisted-living facility.
He was born May 30, 1908, in Loveland, to Jacob and Alice Stencil Zimmerman.
He married Clara L. Dewey in 1929 in Cheyenne; she died in 1965. He married Emma J. Weiss on Dec. 14, 1969; she died in January 2000.
Mr. Zimmerman worked as a machinist for Union Pacific Railroad for 24 years before taking medical retirement in 1946. He then worked as a salesman for many years. He retired in Loveland.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Cheyenne.
He enjoyed playing golf and cards.
He is survived by sons Bob Zimmerman and wife Mary, of Paonia, Lorin Weiss and wife Charlene, of California, and Orland Weiss and wife Bonnie, of California; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son; three daughters; four brothers; three sisters; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Allnutt-Hunter Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Kim Latterell officiating.
Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Larimer County in care of Allnutt-Hunter Chapel.
BOOSE:

Deborah Beard Boose, 55, of Loveland, was killed in a tragic car accident April 4, 2001. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, paralegal and caregiver to thousands of people.
She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, John Boose of Loveland. Debbie and John fell in love when she was just 15 years old. She is also survived by two devoted and loving daughters: Kristin Boose of Aurora, who will soon be married to Christopher Harris, and Amy Boose Black, who is married to Todd Black and lives in Fort Collins. Her stepmother, Luella Beard of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, survives her as well. In addition, she is survived by four sisters and brothers: Rebecca Beard of Anchorage, Alaska; John Beard and wife Stuart of Anchorage; Martha Beard Doukas and husband Louie of Richmond, Va.; and D. Benjamin Beard and wife Katy of Moscow, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. Beard and Clare Sloniker Beard.
Debbie was born on April 24, 1945, in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. She attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for two years and then graduated with honors from the University of Denver, with a bachelor's degree in political science. She also graduated from the Denver Paralegal Institute and served as a paralegal at the law firm of Wallace and Kling in Fort Collins.
Debbie was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church for more than 26 years, where she served as past president of the church council and as deacon. She was very active in the Zion church choir, Jr. Choristers, Zion book group, the Stephen Ministry program, and numerous other leadership positions.
Debbie was passionate about Hospice of Larimer County and served as a Hospice board member for the past six years. She was a member of the Colorado Youth Tennis Association Board in Denver and an honorary member of the Philomatheon Club of Loveland. She also belonged to the Loveland Tennis Association and organized numerous tennis tournaments and events in Colorado. Debbie participated in a wide variety of volunteer activities for Philo, the House of Neighborly Service, the Multiple Sclerosis Hope Award, Colorado Rural Legal Services, Sculpture in the Park, etc.
For many years she headed the Larimer County pro-bono legal program and do-it-yourself divorce clinics, where she was able to make a difference in many people's lives.
Debbie loved to read and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word games and competing in trivia competitions. She was an instrumental part of this year's Loveland Trivia Bowl Championship team. She also enjoyed playing tennis, in-line skating, cycling, playing the piano and traveling with her family extensively throughout the world.
Debbie was known for her love of people and her love of life. She will continue to give the gift of life, as she was part of the organ donor program. Debbie has touched many and will be missed by all she touched.
Memorial services will be held for Debbie on Palm Sunday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Loveland Burial Park.
The family has asked that donations be sent in lieu of flowers to honor Debbie's life to the Hospice of Larimer County new in-house care center being developed at McKee Medical Center or Zion Lutheran Church in care of Allnutt-Hunter Funeral Home.
BROOKS:

Neil H. Brooks, 91, of Loveland, died April 4, 2001, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
He was born March 19, 1910, in Wiota, Iowa, to Carl Tice Brooks and Carrie Hurlburt Brooks.
He married Ruth G. Nikkel on Feb. 23, 1934, in Johnstown. She died Dec. 7, 1967. He then married Inez Steiner on Dec. 28, 1968, in Loveland.
Mr. Brooks farmed in Cope, Colo., and Loveland until 1948. He then worked as a driver for TWX Transport, formerly Denver and Loveland Transportation, for 25 years.
He was a resident of Loveland since 1941.
He enjoyed square dancing, traveling, camping in his recreational vehicle and gardening. He loved flowers and music and was an exceptional record keeper.
Mr. Brooks was a member of First Christian Church and a past president of the local Good Samaritan Club. He and his wife, Inez, were in charge of dances at the Chilson Senior Center for four years. He also served on the Chilson Senior Center Advisory Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Brooks of Loveland; a daughter, Bonnie Hildebrandt and husband Warren of Seal Beach, Calif.; a stepson, Dennis Steiner and wife Jan of Fort Collins; a stepdaughter, Jan Combs and husband Dennis of Loveland; a sister, Merrice Nikkel, of Lakewood; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Kelther; and a grandson.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at First Christian Church, with the Rev. Harvey Ruegsegger officiating.

DINGMAN:
Kimberly Ann Dingman, 41, of Berthoud, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2001, at her home. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 2415 Lake Park Drive, Longmont, Rev. Tom Beaman officiating. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory. Kimberly Ann Dingman, 41, of Berthoud, died April 1, 2001, at her home.
She was born April 21, 1959, in Madison, S.D., to Richard and Rose Eileen Fritz Hallenbeck. The family moved to Longmont in 1971. She was a 1977 graduate of Longmont High School.
She married Kevin D. Dingman April 28, 1979, in Longmont. The couple moved to Berthoud for a year, then to Loveland for 13 years. They returned to Berthoud in 1993.
Mrs. Dingman was a manufacturing facilitator for Hach Co. of Loveland for the past 10 years. Prior to that she worked for Longmont United Hospital for 12 years, operating its print shop from its beginnings in Longmont through its move to Berthoud.
She organized a Bunko Club for her friends, and the "Bunko Girls" got together once a month at a member's home.
She loved to go fishing and enjoyed both water skiing and snow skiing.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin D. Dingman of Loveland; son Joseph Eugene Dingman of Berthoud; daughter Stephanie Rose Dingman of Berthoud; parents Richard Hallenbeck of Seattle, and Rose Eileen Hallenbeck of Loveland; brother Gary R. Hallenbeck and wife Janet, of Berthoud; sister Rebecca R. Hartfelter and husband Bill, of Loveland; and several nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Longmont, the Rev. Tom Beaman officiating.
Burial will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory.

ECKHOLT:
Mary C. Eckholt, 79, formerly of Loveland, died April 2, 2001, at United Medical Center West in Cheyenne.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Yankton, S.D., to Romeo and Kathryn LaLonde.
She married Cyril B. Eckholt on June 30, 1942, in Yankton.
Mrs. Eckholt worked as a quality control inspector at Dale Electronics in Yankton. During the 10 years she and her husband lived in Loveland, she worked at Colorado Screw Machine.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Cheyenne.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel J. Eckholt of Loveland, Kenneth Eckholt of Lesterville, S.D., and Thomas Eckholt, of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Mary Kay Young of Lesterville, and LeeAnne Conde of Cheyenne; a brother, Leo LaLonde of Vinton, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Cheyenne.

LEWIS:
Carmen Fay Lewis, 79, of Hastings, Neb., formerly of Loveland, died March 31, 2001, at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village in Hastings.
She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Grafton, Neb., to Cleveland and Clara Belle Swartz King. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1939. She married Vernie F. Lewis on Oct. 13, 1941, in Fairbury, Neb. He preceded her in death in 1995.
They farmed in Chandler, Okla., Loveland, and Giltner, Neb. They retired to Loveland in 1973, and moved to Hastings in 1994.
Mrs. Lewis worked as a cook at the Giltner Public Schools and Monroe Elementary School in Loveland.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hastings, life member of VFW Auxiliary Post No. 1346 in Hastings and past Auxiliary Post No. 41 president, Loveland. She was Past Noble Grand Rebekah Lodge Chapter in Loveland and Hastings, member of American Legion Auxiliary and past president American War Mothers, both in Loveland.
She spent many hours volunteering her baking talents with the Veterans and Good Samaritan Village organizations.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by five sons, Francis Lewis and wife Socorro of Pahrump, Nev., Gerald Lewis and wife Linda of Erie, Fred Lewis of Elba, Neb., Milford Lewis and wife Gloria of Cotesfield, Neb., and Lyndle Lewis and wife Katharina Schwidtal of Hastings; three daughters, Sharon Dasko of Loveland, Sylvia Fluhart and husband Don, and Vanetta Bauman and husband Dave, all of Hastings; twin brothers, Clifford King of Fairfield, Calif., and Condon King of Lincoln, Neb.; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, twins, Floyd and Lloyd King, and Lyle King and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 tonight, with family present 7-9 p.m., at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Chapel, Good Samaritan Village, with the Rev. Bill Liddell officiating.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Neb.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Loveland.

Lois M. McMillan, 68, of Loveland, died April 3, 2001, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation in Fort Collins.
She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Fleming, to Frank and Violet Nelson Stoops.
She married Vernon Fay McMillan in July 1950 in Wray. He preceded her in death.
They moved to Loveland in 1963 from Sterling.
Mrs. McMillan was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano.
She was a pianist and organist for Faith Church in Fort Collins.
She is survived by three sons, Rodney McMillan and wife Kathy of Columbia, Md., Terry McMillan of Loveland, and Michael McMillan and wife Debbie of Loveland; a daughter, Sheryl Dianne Snyder and husband Gordon of Elkridge, Md.; three brothers, Dale Stoops and wife Modesta of Sterling, William Earl Stoops and wife Jeannie of Tulsa, Okla., and Richard Stoops and wife Mary of Sterling; a sister, Sandra Chanez of Brighton; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by sisters Vedra Reed and Dorothy Stoops.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, with the Rev. David Huntwork of Fort Collins' Church on the Rock officiating.
Burial will be at Loveland Burial Park.
