SUSZKA:
Anton “Tony” Suszka of Loveland. Mass 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4 at Allnutt Hunter Chapel. Interment in Sobieski Cemetery, Sobieski, Minn.
Anton Ambrose Suszka of Loveland died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004.
He was born Jan. 12, 1962, in Little Falls, Minn., and graduated from Little Falls High School. Tony had been a branch manager for United Rentals since 1984 and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland.
He loved tractors, yard work and his John Deere mower, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and his Coors! Tony also enjoyed spending time with his family and was dedicated to his occupation and always clarified that honesty was the best policy.
He is now with his father and deceased siblings: Father, Ambrose Suszka; two brothers, Dick and Dean Palluck; and two sisters, Carole Miller and Mary Joe Palluck.
He is survived by his spouse, Mary Suszka; two sons, Steven (Einstein) Silvers and Dustin (Sportsfan) Suszka; a daughter, Christina (Baby Girl) Silvers, all of Loveland; brothers, Eddie Palluck and wife Trish of Cheyenne, Jim Palluck and wife Rhonda of Castle Rock, and Billy Suszka of Little Falls; sisters, Lorraine Decker of Royalton, Minn., Loretta Suszka and Jeannie and John Schuett, both of Little Falls.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight. Rosary will be at 7 tonight; mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, all at Allnutt-Hunter Chapel.
Following the Mass, there will be a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1730 W. 12th St., Loveland, CO 80537.
Interment in Sobieski St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Morrison County, Minn.

WAHL:
Robert C. Wahl of Loveland. Cremation has been conducted. Memorial services to be held in Spirit Lake, Iowa, at a later date.
Robert Charles Wahl, age 86, of Loveland, formerly of Sibley, Iowa, and Spirit Lake, Iowa, died on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at the Sierra Vista Health Care Center in Loveland.
Robert Charles Wahl was born April 4, 1918, in Gladbrook, Iowa, to Herbert and Kathryn Budde Wahl. Robert graduated from Gladbrook High School. He attended Iowa State University and received a bachelor’s degree in industrial science and a doctor of veterinary medicine. Following graduation in 1943, he served 40 months in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps during World War II.
On Dec. 1, 1943, he married Margot Bacon at Carlisle Barracks, Pa.
Following his Army discharge he established a veterinarian practice in Sibley, Iowa. Dr. Walt Hermann joined the practice four years later, and they remained in the partnership until Robert retired in 1983. Robert was an active member in the Methodist Church. He served eight years on the Sibley School Board and five years on the Sibley City Council. He was president of the Rotary Club and a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, Board of Health and the County Conservation Board.
After his retirement, Robert and Margot relocated to Spirit Lake, Iowa, where they made their summer home their permanent residence. His favorite hobbies were fishing and bird-watching. He enjoyed volunteering with the Pegasus Program at the Spirit Lake Middle School and served on the Spirit Lake Protective Association. In January 2004, they relocated to Loveland to be closer to their children.
Robert is survived by his wife, Margot, and four children, Kathy Reents and husband, Dr. Will of Loveland, Peggy O’Doherty and husband Bob of Littleton, Bob Wahl Jr. and wife Karolen of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jim Wahl and wife Jeannie of Clear Lake, Iowa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa, with Pastor Kay officiating.
A visitation will be conducted on Friday evening, Nov. 12, 2004, with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, Spirit Lake, Iowa.
Burial will take place at the Sibley Cemetery following a light lunch at the church.
Memorial contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Fisheries Bureau of the Department of Natural Resources, Educational Displays, 622 252nd Ave., Spirit Lake, IA 51360.

WEBSTER:
Joan P. Webster, 79, of Loveland died Oct. 31, 2004, at her home.
Ellen Joan Paton was born July 2, 1925, in Bradford, Pa., to Lloyd and Arlene Paton. She grew up in Bradford and married Harold Webster on April 13, 1951, in Allegheny, Pa. They formerly lived in Rochester, N.Y., and settled in Johnstown, then Loveland, in the early 1970s.
She was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed baseball and football.
She is survived by her son, Ken Webster and wife Susan of Fort Collins; sisters Theda Young of Bradford and Jean DiMatteo of Butler, Pa.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter, Hallie Webster; and great-grandchildren Paul and Alanna Downey.
No formal services are planned, and she and her late husband are to be buried privately in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
Goes Funeral Care in Fort Collins, 482-2221, handled local arrangements.

BOLTZ:
Janice Boltz of Loveland. Graveside service 3 p.m. Monday, November 22, Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor.
Janice Mae Boltz, 67, formerly of Windsor, died Nov. 17, 2004.
She was born July 13, 1937, in Windsor.
She was cared for by Foothills Gateway from 1981 on, then from 1985 on by Good Shepherd Communities.
She loved art, pictures, bowling, boating and dancing.
She is survived by two sisters, Edna Huwa and husband Jake of La Salle, and Maryanna York of Windsor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Emma (Honstein) Boltz; three brothers, Arthur Boltz, Harold Boltz and Glenn Dean Boltz; and a sister, Arlene Simmons.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Lakeside Cemetery in Windsor.
Allnutt-Hunter Chapel of Loveland is in charge of arrangements.

BRYANT:
Charles E. Bryant Jr. of Loveland. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, November 20 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home. At the family’s request, the casket will not be open. Cremation will follow services.
Charles E. Bryant Jr., 62, of Loveland died Nov. 15, 2004, at the Hospice Care Center at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
He was born June 3, 1942, in Rock Falls, Ill., to Charles E. and Darlene Phyllis (Aldrich) Bryant. He attended Rock Falls High School in Rock Falls, Ill. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Bryant moved to Loveland in 1964 from Denver. He worked for the Thompson School District for many years and after retirement drove the bus for physically challenged children for seven years.
He married Kaye Ann Austin in the fall of 1997 in Loveland.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He loved golfing and enjoyed bowling. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed watching sports on television.
He is survived by his wife, Kay A. Bryant of Loveland; two sons, Charles Bryant and wife Jennifer and Michael Bryant, all of Mount Vernon, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Lynne Benoit and husband Chris of Loveland and Amy Miller and husband Jason of Fort Collins; his father, Charles E. Bryant of Loveland; four grandchildren; brother Kevin Bryant and wife Sandee of Nipomo, Calif.; and sister Barbara Bryant of Loveland.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, with Chaplain Manon Weber officiating. Cremation will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home and Crematory, 1102 N. Lincoln, Loveland, 80537.

FRETWELL:
Lt. Col. Barbara J. Fretwell, retired U.S. Army, formerly of Loveland, of Wellington. Funeral services 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 23 at Viegut Funeral Home. Interment Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, 2 p.m. Tuesday. Viewing 4-8 p.m. Monday at Viegut Funeral Home. Memorials to the Siloam Children’s Home in India in care of Viegut Funeral Home.
Lt. Col. Barbara J. Fret-well, retired U.S. Army, 62, died Nov. 18, 2004, at her home in Wellington.
She was born March 3, 1942, in Ottawa, Kan., to Miles E. and Verda Mae Tucker Briggs. She graduated from high school in Shawnee Mission, Kan., and from Kansas State University. She received a master’s degree in counseling from Bowie State University in Maryland. She also attended dietitian school at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Denver.
She married Carl Fretwell on Aug. 8, 1970, in Shawnee.
She retired as a lieutenant colonel after serving in the Army for 35 years.
She and her family traveled widely and lived in many different places, including four years in Loveland from 1999 to 2003.
She loved cooking, music, traveling and singing. She was a seamstress and a missionary’s wife.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Fretwell of Wellington; a son, John Carl “Carmen” Fretwell of Wenatchee, Wash.; two daughters, Christina Jo Eilers (Rudolph) and Anna Elizabeth Fretwell, both of Wellington; three sisters, Beverly Ann Roseberry of Jacksonville, Ala., Connie Mae Black of Charleston, S.C., and Leah Elizabeth Diggs of Oxford, Ala; and two grandchildren.
Viewing will take place 4-8 p.m. Monday at Viegut Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial following at 2 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Siloam Children’s Home in India in care of Viegut Funeral Home, 1440 N. Boise Ave., Loveland, 80538.

BORLESKE:
Janet Borleske of Loveland. Memorial service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 20 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Cremation has been completed. Memorials to Mount Olive Lutheran Church in care of the Viegut Funeral Home.
Janet A. Borleske, 72, of Loveland, died Nov. 12, 2004, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born April 8, 1932, in Oconomowoc, Wis., to Bernard and Agnes Heger Ziervogel. She graduated from high school in Oconomowoc in 1950. She married Jerome E. Borleske on Oct. 16, 1954, in Oconomowoc. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1998. She was a homemaker.
She grew up in the Wisconsin area. She lived in Berthoud for a while and Billings, Mont., for five years before moving to Loveland in 1973.
She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church of Loveland. She was a past member of the Ladies Elk Lodge, member of the New Friendship Club and Bunko. She worked at the McKee Thrift Shop and also did filing for McKee Medical Center. She played for the Majahogg Club.
She enjoyed bowling, cooking and canning.
She is survived by two sons, Tod W. Borleske and wife Shirley of Manchester, N.H., and Tate Borleske of Fort Collins; two daughters, Tracy Nelson of Longmont, and Terry Walters of Loveland; two brothers, Barney Ziervogel of Maryland, and Bill Ziervogel of Georgia; three sisters, Ruth Schwartz, Joanne Krogman and Suzy LaPin, all of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Hazard.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 3411 S. Taft Ave., Loveland. The Rev. Carlton Hein will officiate.
Cremation has been completed.

GEIER:
John Geier, 85, of Lincoln, Neb., died Nov. 15, 2004.
He was born March 27, 1919, in Lincoln to Carl and Sophie Christina Geier.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by daughter Willa Mae Hilker and husband Dennis of Loveland; brother Carl Geier II of Oregon; sister Bertha Doerr of Lincoln; grandsons Tracy and Todd Geier; and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Geier III; and sisters Marie Lewis, Pauline Anderson, Mollie Rutt and Katherine Applebee.
Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, the Rev. Mike McMurtry officiating. Visitation is 1-9 p.m. today and prior to funeral on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Neb.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Tracy, Todd and Michael Hilker; Terry and Jack Doerr; and Paul Linnemeyer.

HARRISON:
Gregory Thomas Harrison, 44, of Loveland died Nov. 15, 2004, in Loveland.
He was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Ishpeming, Mich., to Thomas and Margaret Harrison.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret Harrison of Tucson, Ariz., and Tom and Kim Harrison of Windsor, Colo.; sister Karen Delaney and husband Kevin of Windsor; several uncles and aunts; three nieces; and many cousins.
Cremation will be conducted, with inurnment at 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, 80634.

KAUFFMAN:
Sandra Lee Kauffman of Loveland. Private interment and burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver.
Sandy L. Kauffman, 56, of Loveland died Nov. 18, 2004, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyo.
She was born March 12, 1948, in Fort Collins to Benjamin J. Kauffman and Ruth Bath. She graduated from Loveland High School and lived in this area most of her life.
She was a production manager for a medical manufactory for more than 20 years. She served in the U.S. Army for three years, both in the Vietnam War and at the Ireland Hospital in Kentucky.
She loved to do crafts.
She is survived by special friend Donna Moore of Loveland; her sister, Carol Jean Kauffman of Brighton; and her father, Benjamin J. Kauffman of Loveland.
Private services will be held, with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver.
Viegut Funeral Home handled arrangements.
