He was born Sept. 5, 1932, in Omaha. He married Pearl Buxton.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Pamela J. Andrews and Patti J. Deonnegan; a son, James Jr.; and two stepsons, Steve Miller and Jerry Miller.

William C. Spoor of Aurora, a retired math teacher, died Wednesday in Aurora. He was 75.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd.
He was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Dinura, Calif. On May 11, 1947, he married Josephine Anderson in Denver. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He retired from Aurora Public Schools after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Paul, Seattle, Steve, Evergreen, and Mike, Lakewood; two daughters, Debbie Roum, Aurora, and Katherine Gates, Parker; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by four sisters, Lucy Tomlinson, Goldendale, Wash., Lucille Crawford, Mills, Wyo., Ilene Burns, McPherson, Kan., and Frances Frank, Hemet, Calif.

He was an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kathi Pollock, Castle Rock; two sons Don, Madison, Wis., and Keith, Aurora; and three grandchildren.

He graduated from Colorado College and was a Phi Gamma Delta. He served in the Army. He was a buyer and manager for the Safeway Credit Union for 40 years until he retired. He was a member of Christ's Episcopal Church and Perry Park Country Club. His interests included reading and golfing.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Lynn Gilreath, Bakersfield, Calif., Ann Hoopes, Delano, Calif., and Debra Otten-Pain, Indianapolis; two sons, Thomas R. Henritze II, Denver, and Michael S., Windsor; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Harlan I. Firminger of Denver, a pathologist, died July 22 in Denver. He was 80.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at University Hospital, Glaser Auditorium, 4200 E. 9th Ave. There will be cremation.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1918, in Minneapolis. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and trained in pathology at Washington University and Massachusetts General Hospital.
He served in the military in the Panama Canal Zone.
He was a member of the first pathology group at the National Cancer Institute. He worked for the University of Kansas School of Medicine; was a professor and chair of pathology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine; and retired as professor emeritus from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. His research focus was cancer and liver DNA. He published numerous papers and books and was the editor of the Atlas of Tumor Pathology of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. A student award has been created in his name.
His interests were tennis, hiking, skiing, and reading. He is survived by his wife, Jane; three daughters, Ann Howard, Raleigh, N.C., Carol Feeney, Boston, and Barbara Romero, Grosse Pointe, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
