Graveside services were Monday at Fort Logan National Cemetery. He was born March 31, 1932, in Salida. On June 12, 1954, he married Marilynn M. Fisher, in Denver.
He served in the Marines during the Korean War. He was a manufacturer's representative in the auto parts industry. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Kim, Fort Collins, and Tamara, Arvada; a brother, Bud, Northglenn; and three grandchildren.

He was a corporal in the Polish army during World War II.
