Guy Branstetter Withers of Arvada, a mechanical engineer, died Friday in Denver. He was 71.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Episcopal Church, 1320 Arapahoe St., Golden. There will be cremation.
He was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Denver. He attended East High School and graduated from University of Arizona in 1949. On Feb. 14, 1959, he married Katharine Grether in Kansas City, Mo.
He was a registered professional mechanical engineer. He was a member of the Emulation Lodge and the Society of Professional Engineers.
His interests included fishing, gardening and computers.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Allison, Arvada; and two grandchildren.

Delbert A. Withers
Business owner, 90
Delbert A. Withers of Littleton, a business owner, died Monday. He was 90.
Services were Wednesday at Littleton First Presbyterian Church. There was cremation.
He was born June 11, 1910, in Pawnee, Okla. On Aug. 15, 1932, he married Vivian Combs Withers in Louviers.
He owned Majestic Furniture in Littleton.
He was a volunteer fireman and a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Masons and the Elks Club No. 1650. He was an avid golfer.
He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton.
He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Isabelle Fetterhoff and Iva Danford, both of Tucson; and two grandchildren.

Educator, 72
Daniel Grier "Dan" Wisotzkey of Lafayette, a retired educator, died Tuesday at Boulder Community Hospital. He was 72.
Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. today at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14th St., Boulder. There will be cremation.
He was born July 13, 1928, in Wrightsville, Pa. He earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Millersville University in Pennsylvania and a master's degree in education administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
On May 31, 1951, he married Dee M. Strevig in Columbia, Pa.
In 1950, he began teaching in Sawpit and from 1952-55 taught seventh and eighth grades and was principal in Wattenburg. He was an elementary school principal in Platteville from 1955-58 and in Akron from 1958 to 1962.
He became a supervisor of transportation for the Boulder Valley School District in 1962. In 1969 he joined the Colorado Department of Education, where he was a supervisor of food services, child nutrition and school transportation, retiring in 1991.
He was national chairman of the school transportation section for the National Safety Council in 1968 and 1969, a member of the Colorado Food Service Association, and a former member of the National Education Association.
In 1986, he received the Thomas P. O'Hearn Massachusetts School Food Service Association legislative award.
He was a Catholic.
He was active with the Flatirons Country Club and was a former member of Boulder Elks Lodge No. 566. His interests included golf.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Theresa M. Hostler, Arlington, Texas, and Lucy K. Mack, Farson, Wyo.; three sons, Daniel G., Lafayette, Robert G., San Francisco, and Richard J., Longmont; and five grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathie Burton and Karen Solawetz, both of Golden, and Melanie Saylor, Lakewood; four sisters, Sunny Beard, Arvada, Vera Best and Judy White, both of Gypsum, and Terry Hansen, Denver; two brothers, Wayne Halligan, Arvada, and Jerry Halligan, Denver; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Fairchance, Pa. He was a technical sergeant in the Marines during World War II. On July 18, 1946, he married Anne E. McKee in Tucson. He attended the University of Arizona. He was a sales manager for building products. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Society and Hope United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Talitha McKay, Eugene, Ore., Sandra Lorber, El Macero, Calif., Barbara Smith, Parker, and Kelly Maloney, Mequon, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born April 26, 1924, in Marietta, Ohio. On Nov. 29, 1986, he married Dorothy Glock in Denver. He ministered at churches in London, Nevada, California and Colorado.
