Arnold G. Bessinger of Lakewood, a retired AT&T worker, died Feb. 23. He was 80.
Services were Tuesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
He was born June 2, 1919, in Reese, Mich. He married Mary Virginia Ryan. Bessinger served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from AT&T after 37 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 50, USS Boxer Veterans Association and Telephone Pioneers.
He is survived by his wife; a son, James, Littleton; a daughter, Karen Kolb, Seguin, Texas; two brothers, Donald, Florida, and Roland, Michigan; a sister, Violet Whitmore, Michigan; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Ruth Blandford of Denver, a homemaker, died Saturday. She was 92.
Services and entombment were Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church.
She was born Nov. 13, 1907, in Silver City, N.M. On April 16, 1931, she married Sidney E. Blandford in Indianapolis.
She graduated from Smith College.
She was a member of the University Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Hempel, Denver; a son, Sidney III, Vail; and eight grandchildren.

Emil Berube of Thornton, a retired Air Force master sergeant, died Sept. 10. He was 90.
Graveside services were Sept. 16 in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 25, 1909, in Soldier Pond, Maine. On March 3, 1935, he married Ellen Cronin in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He served for 26 years in the Air Force before retiring.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Elaine A. Myers, Thornton, and Carol E. Lee, Burlington, N.C.; two sisters, Regina Collins, Broomville, N.Y.; a brother, Harmidas, Quebec; seven grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

Major Guy Bliss of Aurora, a civil engineer, died Sept. 24. He was 89.
Memorial services were Friday at St. Michael and All Angels Church. There was cremation.
He was born April 17, 1910, in Minneapolis, Kan. In 1936, he married Wilma Cowdery. She preceded him in death. On April 15, 1978, he married Marie Hummel.
He was employed by the Kansas Highway Commission, Tennessee Valley Authority and Bureau of Reclamation.
He retired from the Stearns Roger Corp.
His interests were fly-fishing, tying flies and golf.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Carol Meldrum, Fayetteville, Ark., and Mary Cella, Aurora; eight grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.

She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Blackwell. She married Howard Chase.
She served as the director of music for Jobs Daughters and was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Beta Sigma Phi and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Karen and Kathy; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Blythedale, Mo. On Feb. 24, 1945, he married Paula Annette Kinsinger. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors, Mile High Chapter, and of Northwest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert, San Diego; a daughter, Brenda Evans, Westminster; a brother, Ernest, Colorado Springs; and four grandsons.

He was born March 23, 1917, in Denver. On Oct. 14, 1944, he married Helen Loney.
He served in the Army.
He was a deckhand for Rio Grande Motorway, and a retired Teamster.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Jack D., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; a daughter, Janelle Taylor, Thornton; four grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

He was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Denver. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He then served in the Army from 1951 to 1954. On Aug. 2, 1969, he married Peggy Hewitt.
He received the American Defense Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal with Silver Service Star, and an Army Occupation Medal. He was a member of the VFW.
