Maria Fanelli
Maria Fanelli of 2 New Fane Road in New Fairfield died Monday at Heritage Heights Convalescent Center, Danbury. She was 95.
Mrs. Fanelli was the widow of Augustus Fanelli.
She was born in Viggino, Italy, Dec. 2, 1902, a daughter of Jockmo and Catherine DiRago. She lived in the Bronx, N.Y., until moving to Connecticut in 1952. She was a seamstress for many years and a member of St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Perrone of New Fairfield; three grandchildren, Richard Lamanna of New Fairfield, Mark Lamanna of New Fairfield and Prue Lamanna of Coral Springs, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren.

Margaret Prentice
Margaret Prentice, formerly of 38 Simeon Road in Bethel, died Monday at the Greenery of Cheshire. She was 95.
Mrs. Prentice was the widow of George Prentice.
She was born in Glasow, Scotland, Feb. 26, 1902, and lived in Bethel from 1971 to 1990, when she moved to Cheshire. She was a former supervisor of the laundry department at the former Fairfield Hills Hospital in Newtown.
There are no survivors and no services. Arrangements by The Alderson Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Waterbury.'
Donald Ligos
Donald J. Ligos of Fairview Avenue, Ridgefield, a retired operating engineer, died yesterday at Norwalk Hospital. He was 63.
Mr. Ligos was the husband of Patricia (Girolmetti) Ligos.
He was born in Orange, N.J., Jan. 29, 1935, a son of the late Michael N. and Mary Ellen (Wims) Ligos. Reared and educated in New Jersey, he spent summers in Ridgefield as a child, moving permanently to the town in 1952. He worked for Serfilippi & Con Contractors then the Morganti Construction Co., both of Ridgefield.
He was chief of the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Dept. from 1968 to 1971 and again from 1980 to 1982. He also was a member of the Ridgefield Old Timer's Athletic Association, the former Ridgefield Townies, Local 478 Operating Engineers Union and St. Mary's Church of Ridgefield, and he served on the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Commission.
Besides his wife of 38 years, he is survived by two sons, James Ligos of San Francisco, Calif., and Kevin Ligos of Norwalk; two daughters, Kathleen Ligos of Ridgefield and Karen Ligos of Greenwich; two brothers, the Rev. George A. Ligos of Jersey City, N.J., and John P. Ligos of Long Valley, N.J.

Nora Erb
Nora P. Erb of 462A Heritage Village, Southbury, died yesterday at Danbury Hospital.
She was the widow of August J. Erb.
Mrs. Erb was born in Stamford, a daughter of the late Christopher and Mary (Mitchell) Powers. A Wilton real estate agent and resident for 30 years, Mr. Erb was associated with Country Life Real Estate, Hastings Associates and Wild Associated Real Estate, all of Wilton. She was a member of the Wilton Board of Realtors.
She moved to Southbury four years ago.
She was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Erb-Fawcett of Brookfield and Marilyn E. Cummings of Glastonbury and Boca Raton, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Patricia Ann Corona
Patricia Ann Burke Corona, 58, a Danbury resident before moving to Florida 18 years ago, died January 27 in Homosassa, Fla.
Mrs. Corona, of Homosassa, was the wife of James David Corona.
She was born in New York City on Dec. 11, 1939. She was educated in Danbury schools.
In Florida, Mrs. Corona was an active member of St. Benedict's Church where she taught CCD classes. She was also a member of the Devine Mercy Prayer Group and Bible Study and made Rosary Beads for the sick and imprisoned.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Corona is survived by two sons, James David Corona Jr. and Joseph Corona, both of Homosassa; a daughter, Janice Corona, also of Homosassa; three brothers, John Burke of Bayside, N.Y., and James Burke and David Burke, both of Danbury; two sisters, Mary Palma of Lecanto, Fla., and Margaret Griffen of Danbury; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
SERVICES: Saturday at 10 a.m., a Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Cottage Street, Danbury.
Renee Lindy Fuller
Renee Lindy Fuller, 73, a retired assembler and a former Danbury resident, died Monday at Osceola Regional Medical Center, Kissimmee, Fla.
A resident of Florida since moving from Danbury in 1987, Mrs. Fuller lived at 568 Bar Drive in Poinciana. She was the wife of the late Kenneth F. Fuller.
She was born in France, Nov. 11, 1924, a daughter of William E. and Maria Cobianchi Harriman.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Fuller was employed at Branson Ultrasonics in Danbury.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Poinciana.
Her survivors include a daughter, Lois R. Laczko of Avon, Conn.; two sons, Paul K. Fuller of New Milford and Alan F. Fuller of Danbury; a sister, Francoise M. Jones of Littleton, N.H.; a brother, Robert W. Harriman of Milford, Conn.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorial services will take place at a later date.

Jack E. Lemay
Jack E. Lemay, 79, a retired employee of the Union Carbide Corporation, died February 9 in Florida.
Mr. Lemay, of Nokomis, Fla., was the husband of Charlotte Lemay. He moved to Nokomis in 1994 from Mt. Kisco, N.Y.
He was born in Sheffield, Ala., on May 27, 1918. He was a 1941 graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.
Mr. Lemay was president and chairman of the Carbide Retiree Corporation.
He was a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and was a recipient of the Clement J. Freund Award from the American Society of Engineering Educators.
In Florida, he was active in the Authentic Research Program which was introduced to the high schools of Sarasota County.
Besides his wife, Mr. Lemay is survived by a daughter, Caroline A. Salvati of Ridgefield; two sons, Douglas Lemay of New Haven, and Lawrence Lemay of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Virginia Adams of Sheffield, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
SERVICES: Sunday, April 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ridgefield Methodist Church.
Teresa M. Zenobia
Teresa M. Zenobia, 92, sister of Concetta Tomanio of Danbury, died Monday in Florida.
Mrs. Zenobia lived in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
She was a member of the Century Village Italian Club and the Connecticut Club of Century Village.
Besides her sister in Danbury, Mrs. Zenobia is survived by two daughters, Marie Painter of Deerfield Beach and Frances R. Perfetto of Old Saybrook; two sons, Stephen Zenobia of Carmel, Ind., and Bernard Zenobia of Trumbull; another sister, Mary Falasca of River Edge, N.J.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her friend and caregiver, Lala Macintosh of Deerfield Beach.

Yoginder Pal Nagpal
Yoginder ``Yogi'' Pal Nagpal, 53, a business executive and a resident of Danbury for the past 17 years, died Monday at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Nagpal was the husband of Pamela Ahuja Nagpal.
He was born in Nakodar, Punjab, India, Feb. 19, 1944, a son of Koshalya Devi and the late Banwari Lal Nagpal.
After receiving his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mr. Nagpal came to the United States where he completed his master's degree in aerospace engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology. He was hired from the IIT campus by the Union Carbide Corporation in 1969.
During his 25 years with Union Carbide, Mr. Nagpal held several positions in the MIS and telecommunication areas.
Following early retirement from Union Carbide, he joined the New York Stock Exchange and then became associated with Joseph Seagram & Sons where he led the team implementing voice/video technologies in the company's day to day operations.
Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Nagpal is survived by two daughters, Deborah Nagpal and Julie Nagpal.

Edward Carroll
Edward Carroll, 89, a retired expedition clerk for Gimbel's of New York, died Wednesday at the Filosa Convalescent Center in Danbury.
A resident of Ridgefield for the past 10 years, Mr. Carroll lived at 27 Topstone Drive. He was the husband of the late Margaret Cahill Carroll.
He was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland, Nov. 24, 1908, a son of Keirn and Mary Carroll. He came to the United States in 1926 and settled in Queens, N.Y. He was educated in Ireland and later in New York.
Mr. Carroll was a member of St. Mary's Church in Ridgefield.
His survivors include a son, John B. Carroll of Ridgefield; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.

Mary G. Hossan
Mary G. Hossan, 79, a retired employee of Danbury Hospital, died Tuesday at Danbury Hospital.
Miss Hossan lived at 24 South St., Danbury.
A lifelong Danbury resident, she was born in Danbury, Oct. 8, 1918, a daughter of Frank M. and Anna McDonald Hossan. She was a graduate of Danbury High School.
Before her retirement in 1990, Miss Hossan was employed for 25 years in the dietary department at Danbury Hospital.
She was a member of St. Peter Church and the Local American Association of Retired Persons.
Her survivors include three sisters, Anne Dachenhausen, Rita Gozzi, and Jeanette Holick, all of Danbury; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and two cousins.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

William R. Harris
William R. Harris, 78, a retired insurance agency executive and the father of Deborah Hennessey of Ridgefield, died Feb. 19 at Somers Manor.
Mr. Harris, of Quaker Hill, Pawling, was the husband of Nancy Stair Harris. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia L. Walsh Harris.
He was born in Beaver, Pa., on March 8, 1919, a son of W. Russell and Marian Isabel Wilson Harris. He was a graduate of Grove City College.
While in college, he attended ground school and obtained his pilot's license. He went on to Parks Air College, Randolph Field and MacDill for B-17 training.
During World War II, he attained the rank of major as a decorated U.S. Air Corps Pilot serving with the 91st Bombardment Group/8th Air Force. He was stationed in Bassingbourn, England, and participated in the initial daylight bombing missions. He was awarded a Purple Heart in 1943.
Following his military service, Mr. Harris lived in Pawling.
He was vice president of the Charles R. Daniels Insurance Agency from 1949 until his 1984 retirement. He was then employed at the Pawling Savings Bank.
An active member of the Pawling community, Mr. Harris was a longstanding member and president of the Pawling Rotary Club. He was also a member of Christ Church on Quaker Hill, the Methodist Church, the P.T.A., and the Quaker Lake Association. He also served as chairman of trustees for The Anderson School.
Besides his wife and daughter, Mr. Harris is survived by seven grandchildren.

Christine V. Keating
Christine V. Trocola Keating, 78, a native of Danbury, died Sunday at the Mediplex Health Care Center in Danbury.
Mrs. Keating, of 19 Main St., Danbury, was the wife of the late John F. Keating.
Born in Danbury on Aug. 9, 1918, she was a daughter of Alphonso and Susan DeLucca Trocola.
Mrs. Keating is survived by two daughters, Joyce Carbone of Brewster and Charlene Lee of Danbury; a son, Joseph Tomascak of Danbury; a sister, Mary Zenobia; four brothers, Tony, Al, Jimmy and Pat Trocola; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
