Thomas F. Faust Jr.
Thomas F. Faust Jr., 17, a high school student, football player and rock and roll drummer, died Monday as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Ridgefield.
Born in Danbury, June 16, 1980, he was a son of Thomas F. and Elizabeth M. Wilinich Faust of 4 Holiday Point Road, Sherman.
He was to enter his senior year at New Milford High School this fall.
Thomas worked at the Rizzo Garage in Sherman.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Sherman and the Danbury Emmaus Family. He played football with the New Milford Bulls and was the drummer for the rock and roll band ``Fulcrum''.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Hilary of Sherman; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Faust of Naples, Fla.; his maternal grandmother, Anna Wilinich of Trumbull; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Frances Pacheco
Frances Medeiros Pacheco, 90, mother of Jose C. Pacheco and Maria E.P. Vidinha of Danbury, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, Mass.
Mrs. Pacheco, of Dartmouth, Mass., was the wife of the late Manuel C. Pacheco.
She was born in New Bedford, Mass., March 18, 1907, a daughter of Manuel V. and Maria C. Santos Medeiros.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in New Bedford.
Besides her children in Danbury, Mrs. Pacheco is survived by two other daughters, Ines P. Medeiros of New Bedford and Mary P. Amaral of Dartmouth; 26 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Manuel Pacheco; two daughters, Ana Resendes and Regina Couto; and a granddaughter, Gail Medeiros Martin.

Thomas A. Cherry
Thomas A. Cherry, 39, a reorder clerk for American Frozen Foods, died Monday at Danbury Hospital.
A resident of Newtown for the past 10 years, he lived at 4 Old Hawleyville Road. Mr. Cherry was the husband of Jill Verrillo Cherry.
He was born in Hudson, Mass., April 8, 1958, a son of Kenneth and Joanne Bullock Cherry of New Milford. He was raised in Wilton and attended Wilton High School.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Cherry enlisted in 1975 and served six years with the Seabees.
For the past 16 years, he was employed by American Frozen Foods in Stratford, Conn.
Besides his wife and parents, his survivors include a son and daughter, Justin and Jessica Cherry, both of Newtown; and two sisters, Lori Enright of Warrenton, Va., and Deborah Roff of Houston, Texas.

Palmarina T. Corona
Palmarina T. Corona, 80, a retired chef and kitchen manager, died Tuesday at Glen Hill Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Corona, of 2 Deer Park Drive, Danbury, was the wife of the late Salvadore Corona.
A lifelong Danbury resident, she lived with her son and daughter-in-law before entering the Glen Hill Convalescent Center.
She was born in Danbury, Sept. 29, 1916, a daughter of Anthony and Eugenia DeJulia Tomanio. She attended Danbury schools.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Corona was in charge of the kitchen operation at the Danbury Pavilion. Prior to that, she had been a chef at the Fox Hill Restaurant when it was located in Ridgefield. She had also worked as a chef at the former Hotel Green in Danbury.
She was a member of St. Peter Church in Danbury.
Her survivors include a son, Anthony J. Corona of Danbury; two daughters, Maria Schmidt and Lorraine Whitlock, both of Danbury; a sister, Genevieve Zacharczyk of Danbury; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred P. Klecha
Fred P. Klecha, 70, a retired automotive parts clerk, died Sunday at Ashlar of Newtown.
Mr. Klecha, of Mill Plain Road, Danbury, was the husband of Shirley Meleda Klecha.
He was born in Havervill, Mass., on Dec. 29, 1926, a son of Joseph and Eva Klecha Klecha. He came to Danbury as a young child and attended Danbury schools including Danbury High School and Henry Abbott Technical School.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he served with the Seabees.
Before his retirement, Mr. Klecha was employed as an automotive parts clerk with Humphrey Brothers, Brady-Stannard, Dan-Ridge Chevrolet and Robert Buick.
Besides his wife, Mr. Klecha is survived by a son, Mark L. Klecha of Danbury; a brother, Max Klecha of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Nellie Nazzaro of Danbury and Millie Mancuso of Plant City, Fla.; and a grandson, Bradley J. Klecha.

Anna G. Mizell
Anna G. Mizell, 92, mother of H.G. ``Jerry'' Mizell of Brookfield Center, died Sunday at the Schuylkill Manor Nursing Home in Pottsville, Pa.
Mrs. Mizell was the wife of the late Israel Mizell.
She was born in Minsk, Russia, on Sept. 26, 1904, a daughter of Abraham and Sophie Mizell Gold.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Mizell was the owner and operator of the Coffee Cup Restaurant in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Mrs. Mizell was a member of the Oheb Zedeck Synagogue in Pottsville. She was also a member of the Pottsille Chapter of Hadassah and was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star of Pine Bluff.
Besides her son, Mrs. Mizell is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Schupak of Pottsville; two brothers, Irving Gold and Aaron Gold, both of Albany, N.Y.; a sister, Toby Gold, also of Albany; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Monroe
Elizabeth Ogilvy Monroe, 64, a resident of Wilton for 12 years, died Sunday at Norwalk Hospital.
Mrs. Monroe was the wife of Stewart Monroe Jr.
She was born in Newark, N.J., on Aug. 2, 1933, a daughter of Robert and Margaret Williamson Ogilvy.
Mrs. Monroe was a homemaker who devoted herself to her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Stewart Monroe of Hillsboro, Ore., Chris Monroe of Appleton, Wis., and Jim Monroe of Wilton; two daughters, Margaret Irwin of Marietta, Ga., and Beth Japchen of North Wales, Penn.; a sister, Margaret Warren of Newport Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren; and two nieces.

Gordon Loren King
Gordon Loren King, 54, a Ridgefield resident for the past 30 years, died Monday at his home at 2 Nutmeg Court.
Mr. King was the husband of Patricia Ann Sessa King.
He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., on July 29, 1943, a son of Gordon J. and Sarah Platt King. He was a 1960 graduate of John Jay High School in Cross River, N.Y., and attended Tulane University in New Orleans.
Before moving to Ridgefield, he lived in South Salem, N.Y.
During his career, Mr. King had been employed for many years with NYNEX of New York York City before his retirement in 1994. He was most recently associated with Southern New England Telephone in New Haven.
Besides his wife, Mr. King is survived by two sons, Matthew G. King of New London, Conn., and Mark R. King of Bellingham, Wash.; a daughter, Gillian F. King of Ridgefield; and a grandson, Dakota G. King.

Dawson Henry Jr.
Dawson Henry Jr., 76, a retired airline mechanic, died Monday at Putnam Hospital Center.
Mr. Henry was the husband of Anna Bailey Henry.
A summer resident of Pietsch Gardens, North Salem, N.Y., since 1958, he became a permanent resident in 1984. He previously lived in Sunnyside, Queens, N.Y.
Mr. Henry was born in Louisiana, Mo., Sept. 9, 1920, a son of Doss and Ethel Esterbrook Henry.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he served on active duty from 1941 to 1947 and in the Naval Reserves until 1963.
Before his retirement in 1984, Mr. Henry was employed for 37 years as a mechanic with American Airlines at LaGuardia Airport, New York, N.Y.
Mr. Henry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, bird watching, hunting and trapping.
He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 2101, in Brewster, the Royal Order of the Moose in Danbury, and the American Legion in Louisiana, Mo. He was also a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster.
Besides his wife of 52 years, Mr. Henry is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ingebretsen of New Milford, Deborah Bieglecki of Brewster, and Donna Hayes of Patterson, N.Y.; a brother, Oscar ``Babe'' Henry of Louisiana, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma Flansburg of Independence, Mo., and Kathryn Henry of Louisiana, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

Helen E. Waterbury
Helen ``Chickie'' E. Waterbury, 59, an artist and collector of vintage dolls, died Saturday at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Waterbury, of 80 Silver Spring Lane, Ridgefield, was the wife of Calvin H. Waterbury.
She was born in Norwalk on May 27, 1938, a daughter of Helen Kiba Bailwitz of Pike, N.H., and the late Louis Tingets. Mrs. Waterbury lived in Norwalk until moving to Ridgefield 30 years ago.
As an artist, she enjoyed working with oils and natural objects. She also designed fabrics and collected vintage dolls.
Besides her husband and mother, her survivors include a daughter, Shawna Lee Waterbury-Kwashnak of Danbury; and two sons, Lance A. and Daniel B. Waterbury, both of Ridgefield.

Anna A. Tasco
Anna A. Tasco, 64, of Norwalk, mother of Carol Johnson of Bethel, died Friday at her home.
Mrs. Tasco, was the wife of Jerry C. Tasco. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Christiano Annase and has been a lifelong Norwalk resident.
She was also a retired office manager for the Warrenton Refining Company in New Canaan.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Lynn Bertsch of Aiken, S.C., Carol Johnson of Bethel, Paula Bedore of Elmsford, N.Y.; two brothers, John Annase of Norwalk, Nicholas Annase of Norfolk, Va.; one sister, Marie Cicala of Norwalk; and two grandsons.

Chet Piascik
Chet Piascik, 69, of Hope Valley, R.I., a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and former Ridgefield resident, died Sunday at South County Hospital in Wakefield, R.I.
Mr. Piascik was the husband of Winifred (McElroy) Piascik.
Born in Hopkinton on October 13, 1927, he was the son of the late Chester and Stella Piascik.
Before he retired, Mr. Piascik was employed with General Dynamics Electric Boat and the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a partner in D&P Shells in Wilton and Norwalk, and the manager of Ridgefield Texaco for several years.
A member of the American Legion, Mr. Piascik served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was also a member of the Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire Department and the Micco Fire Department in Micco, Fla. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, he served as an usher and also enjoyed playing golf as a member of the Lindhbrook Golf Club in Hope Valley.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Rogers of Bethel, Barbara Holly Valentino of Hope Valley, R.I.; a sister, Celia Fisk of Salem, Ore.; four granddaughters and one grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by another daughter, Donna Morlen.
Funeral services were held in Hope Valley, and burial was in St. Sebastian Cemetery in Westerly, R.I.
