Rosemarie Justino
Rosemarie Justino, 48, of Danbury, died Thursday at Westchester Medical Center. She was the wife of Joseph Justino.
She was born in Mount Vernon, New York, September 12, 1951, a daughter of Anthony and Rose (Manna) Barletta.
Mrs. Justino graduated from the Academy of the Resurrection in Rye, New York. She received a B.A. in Education from Iona College and a Master's Degree in Special Education from the College of New Rochelle.
Mrs. Justino taught second grade for eight years at St. Catherine's Elementary School in Pelham, New York, and also worked as a relocation coordinator for Cendant Mobility in Danbury.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Rose Barletta, and her brother, Anthony Barletta.

Josephine Magurn
Josephine Simon Magurn, of Hamilton, VA, died April 13, in Loudoun Hospital Center at age 86.
Mrs. Magurn was born on January 24, 1914 to Daniel and Julia Simon in Milford, Massachusetts. She was the widow of the late William C. Magurn who died in 1976. She attended schools in Upton, Massachusetts, graduating from Upton Him School in 1930 and Becker Business College in 1932. She was employed for many years in the office of William Knowlton & Sons Hat Factory in West Upton, Massachusetts until marriage in 1944. Her family moved to Amesbury, Massachusetts in 1949 and then to Danbury, Connecticut in 1956 where she was employed for several years by Stone Paint Co. an a bookkeeper and later as a secretary for the First Congregational Church. In 1987, she moved to Hamilton, VA and became a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, George D. Magurn of Hamilton, VA and Richard C. Magurn of Danbury, Connecticut, two grandchildren Brian W. Magurn and Erin E. Magurn; her step-grandsons Thomas M. Harvey and Anthony J. Harvey; several nieces and nephews; and one cousin.
Services took place in Virginia and Massachusetts. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.

Margaret Hultgren
Margaret Agnes Hultgren, 78, a resident of Leisure City Florida since 1970, passed away April 20, 2000 at Homestead Hospital.
Margaret was born June 25, 1921, in Bridgeport, CT to Jeremiah A. and Mary E. O'Conner. In 1950 she moved to Bethel CT with her husband and children where she was a member of the Women's Auxiliary.
She moved to Florida in 1970 where she worked and retired from Arnold Cellophane Company in 1982.
She was a member of Jesus Fellowship Church in Kendall.
Her husband Albin T. Hultgren; children Albin T. Jr., Raymond, Carol Hobbs, and Ellen Pacca; brother George O'Conner, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren survive her.
Aldace Treat Walker Jr.
Aldace Treat Walker, Jr., 63, of 70 Sarah Bishop Road, Ridgefield, husband of Judy (Hackett) Walker, died on Friday, April 21, 2000, at Danbury Hospital.
Treat was born in Richmond, Indiana, August 8, 1936, a son of the late Aldace Treat, Sr., and Sarah Fitzgerrell Jessup Walker.
At the age of six months, he moved with his family to Riverside, CT.
He attended Riverside schools, the Kent School and Lehigh University. He was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served from 1956 to 1959.
A resident of Ridgefield since 1978, coming from Greenwich, he was employed by Georgetown Jeep Dealership of Wilton as a quality control specialist.
At the time of his death, Mr. Walker was serving as chairman of the Ridgefield Police Commission. He was a member of the Ridgefield Marine Corps League and a former Ridgefield Pop Warner football coach.
In early years, Mr. Walker played semi-professional football for the Stamford Golden Bears.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, he is survived by a son, Aldace Treat Walker, III, of Ridgefield; two daughters, Whitney F. Walker of Ridgefield and Courtney M. Walker of Atlanta, GA; as well as three sisters, Melissa Wolfe of New Carlisle, IN, Kitty Lakey of Sarasota, FL, and Phoebe McKamey of Bradenton, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the First Congregational Church, Ridgefield.
Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.

Robert D. Lynch
Robert Daniel Lynch, 67, of 15 Dogwood Drive, New Milford, husband of Anna (Strelez) Lynch, died Friday at New Milford Hospital.
Mr. Lynch was born in New Milford, May 14, 1932, a son of the late Martin and Marion (Garvey) Lynch. He graduated from New Milford High School and was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church in New Milford.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War.
Gardening and sports were among his favorite pastimes.
Mr. Lynch was the owner and operator of Lynch Insulation, Co. for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife, Mr. Lynch is survived by four daughters, Karen A. Fumal of New Milford, Kathleen L. Chapman of Watertown, Nancy L. Dominello of Southington and Maureen L. Shively of Louisville, Colo.; three brothers, M. James Lynch of New Milford, Richard H. Lynch of Bridgewater and Eugene Lynch of Kent; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted Monday at 9 a.m. from the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford, to a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, New Milford.
Friends may call at the Lillis Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Francis E. Brill
Francis E. Brill, a Brookfield native, passed away on April 20, 2000.
Born and raised in Brookfield, Mr. Brill worked for the New Haven Railroad for 13 years, retiring due to illness.
He was a World War II veteran who had served in the Pacific Theatre as a Combat Engineer with the 82nd Airborne Division. He received the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Brill of Danbury; his brother, Archie Brill of Florida; his sister, Rita Render of Danbury; his two sons and step-son, Michael F. Brill, Sr., Patrick R. Brill of Danbury and Eric E Del of Danbury; his four daughters and two step-daughters, Linda Shepard of Florida, Loretta Hoffman of Bethel, Wendy Hill of Danbury, Cindy Brill of Georgia, Peggy Sacrider of Danbury and Linda Hayes of Danbury; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceasing Mr. Brill were his first wife, Mable G. O Del; and two daughters, Martha Klein of Danbury and Tina L. Brill of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, Wednesday morning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport, CT.
Friends will be received at the Green Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
Patrick A. Walsh
Patrick A. Walsh of Heritage Village, husband of Gilda (Varlese) Walsh died Sunday morning at home. He was 77 years old.
Patrick was born June 1, 1922, in Newark, NJ, son of the late Patrick A. Walsh, Sr., and Anna (Aron) Walsh. He attended local schools and Rutgers University before entering the Army Air Force in World War II. He was a Tech. Sgt. of the 367th Bombing Squad, 306th Bombing Group, where he served as an AM Gunner on a B-17 Bomber. He fought in the Air Offensive in Europe, where he was shot down in October 1943, being captured by the Germans and spending 22 months as a P.O.W. in Stalag 17-B in Germany. He was discharged at the end of the war in 1945 from the Army Air Force Hospital at Cochran Field, Macon, Georgia.
After his illustrious military career, he worked as an Engineering Supervisor for Continental Insurance in Newark for 30 years, before moving to Heritage Village last May.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, John Walsh of Richmond, VA; a daughter, Soo Walsh of Danbury; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsey Berdan of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 25 at 3:30 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, routes 6/67, Southbury. There will be one hour of calling prior to the services. Burial will follow with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Dante J. Rose
The death of Dante J. Rose, 72, of Stadley Rough Road, Danbury, occurred at the Danbury Hospital Friday after a sudden illness. He was the husband of Frances M. O'Callahan Rose.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., May 26, 1927, the son of the late Anthony and Caesarina Casalena Rose, he received his education in Bronx schools. He had lived in Massapequa, L.I., N.Y., for 10 years before moving to Danbury in 1970.
Mr. Rose was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
He had been employed as a computer operator for the U.S. Tobacco Company for 42 years, of which the last five he was manager of that department. He retired in 1989. He attended St. Mary Magdalene Church in Tarrytown, N.Y., and was a member of the Danbury Bowling League at Brookfield Lanes.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas M. Rose of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Linda R. Willis of Jacksonville and Catherine M. Rose of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, George Rose of Wappinger Falls, N.Y.; one sister, Agatha Puleo of York, Pa; his companion Dog, Bruno; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Rose.
Funeral services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Wednesday morning at 10:00 with the Rev. John Timothy Pfeiffer of St. Ignatius Retreat House, Ridgefield, as Celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.

Josephine Vasaturo
Josephine C. (Carofano) Vasaturo, 74, of 5 Simeon Road, Bethel, wife of Salvatore R. Vasaturo, died Saturday at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Vasaturo was born, in Brooklyn, N.Y., April 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Patrick and Louise (Izzo) Carofano. She attended schools in Brooklyn.
She moved to Bethel from Carmel, NY, in 1989, and she was a member of St. Mary's Church in Bethel.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael T. Vasaturo of Lake Carmel, NY; and three daughters: Anna Pristera of Central Islip, NY, Louise Winters of Lake Carmel, NY, and Josephine Yeager of East Fishkill, NY; as well as two sisters, Jean Dymerski of Toms River, NJ, and Margaret Iddings of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, at a time to be announced.
Burial will be in St. Anastasia Cemetery, Harriman, NY.
