WATERBURY - Mrs. Priscilla M. (King) Agnello, 73, of 41 Southmayd Road, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Roland J. Agnello.
Priscilla was born in Waterbury on Jan. 20, 1938, daughter of the late Raymond H. and Mary (Cantara) King. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and was employed at the Bradlees Department Store for over 25 years until her retirement. She lived her life for her family, especially for her grandchildren, for they were the reason she retired so that she would be able to spend more time with them and help to raise them. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.
She leaves five daughters, Norma J. Agnello and her fiance, Victor Rivera, Gloria J. Quinones and Lisa M. Danna and her husband, Thomas, all of Waterbury, Gina M. Barlow and her husband, Jeff, of Terryville and Tina M. Terry and her fiance, James Bradley, of Naugatuck; one sister, Margaret Remokitis of Waterbury; nine grandchildren, Angelo, Thomas, Anthony, Christopher, Gino, Alicia, Brittany, Nicole and Scott; and one great-grandson, Johnathan Jr.
Arrangements: Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

WATERTOWN - Eugene A. Murphy Jr., age 56, of Cherry Avenue, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain.
Eugene was born Jan. 27, 1955, in Waterbury, a son of the late Eugene A. and Loretta Frances (Galvin) Murphy, and was a lifelong Watertown resident. Eugene was a graduate of Watertown High School and the University of Connecticut with a degree in political science. Eugene was a commercial real estate agent and a justice of the peace. He was an avid reader and a member of Saint John the Evangelist Church.
He leaves a brother, Michael T. Murphy of Bedford, N.H.; a sister, Janet A. Herrington of Blairstown, N.J.; and two nephews, Kevin D. Harrington and Patrick Michael Harrington.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary Magdalen School, 140 Buckingham St., Oakville 06779.
Ms. Camillus C. Quinn

BRADENTON, Fla. - Camillus C. "Kay" Quinn, 88, died Feb. 22, 2011.
Born in Waterbury, Conn., she moved to Bradenton in 1975. She was a retired Waterbury, Conn., school teacher for many years. She was a past member of SS. Peter & Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, where she served on various church committees. She was an active member of Respect Life Committee and was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
She was predeceased by sister, Sara T. Quinn.
A Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel, 3100 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205.
William H. Peterson
Raised in Woodbury
HARTFORD, Kan. - William H. "Bill" Peterson, 78, of Hartford passed away Saturday night, Feb. 19, 2011, at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
He was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Waterbury, Conn., the son of Frank and Ann (Stickles) Peterson. He grew up in Woodbury, Conn., and attended Woodbury schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He returned to Connecticut, where he lived until 1972, before moving to Wichita, and upon his retirement to Hartford, Kan.
He leaves his wife, Reba; a son, Michael Peterson and his wife, Alayne, of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Kathy and her husband, Gary Vitiello, of Watertown; a son, Rick, of Naugatuck; and a granddaughter, Alyson Vitiello of Los Angeles, Calif. He also leaves a stepdaughter, Sheila Nicholson Gridley, and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of Kansas. He was predeceased by his brother, Alexander Peterson of Bethlehem, and a stepdaughter, Sandy Stone, and three step grandchildren, all of Kansas.
Memorial services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, Kan. Burial followed in Hartford Cemetery.
LeRoy K. Hatfield

SOUTHBURY - Mr. LeRoy "Roy" K. Hatfield, 83, of Southbury, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Klesitz) Hatfield.
Mr. Hatfield was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Huntington, Long Island, son of the late Daniel and Alice Hatfield. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He had worked at Greene Electrical Supply in Danbury for 27 years and later served as assistant building inspector for the town of Southbury. He was a past coach for Southbury Youth Baseball and played in the Southbury horseshoe league for many years. He was a longtime resident of Southbury and a devoted husband and father.
Besides his wife, Dolly, of 56 years, he leaves two sons, Michael Hatfield and Edward Hatfield, both of Southbury; one daughter, Denise Hatfield and her husband, Brian Bechtolt, of Woodbury; his granddaughter, Eva Bechtolt; one brother, Daniel Hatfield and his wife, Arlene, of Southbury; three sisters, Mary Brezak of Middlebury, Helen Hatfield of Woodbury and Ruth Turcotte of West Haven; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
Ms. Dolly Cosme
Devoted to her family
WATERBURY - Dolly Cosme, 52, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Waterbury Hospital. She was born Aug. 25, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Aida Pinero and the late Arturo Burgos.
Dolly's family was always central to her life and most important to her. She is survived by a son, Lito Cosme; daughters, Rosaida, Christina and Crystal Cosme, all of Waterbury; six grandchildren; and a brother. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jesenia.
Memorial service 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011, at Petteway Funeral Home, 116 East Farm St., Waterbury. The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m.

WATERBURY - Mrs. Terri J. (Lockwood) Calabro, 65, of Waterbury, peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by her husband and sons on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Saint Mary's Hospital. She shared 40 years of love and devotion as wife of Roger T. Calabro Sr.
Mrs. Calabro was born Jan. 18, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of the late Leonard and Doris Lockwood. Terri was both a loving mother and an adoring Nonna. Her family will always remember her beautiful, quiet way, her love of flowers and craft making. She was a retired floral designer and former owner of Park Florist & Gifts in Waterbury. Her floral designs were revered by all her customers. She was an avid UConn basketball fan as well as a Yankees baseball fan. Mrs. Calabro was a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Horticulture and Post University.
Besides her husband, Terri is survived by her sons, Roger Calabro Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Burlington and Daniel Calabro of Waterbury. She also leaves her two grandsons, Derek and Aiden Calabro, with whom she shared special memories; brother-in-law, Richard Calabro and his wife, Rhonda, of Prospect; sister-in-law, Helene Calabro of Debary, Fla; and dear friends, Benny and Diane Ortloff of Mays Landing, N.J. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George Richard Lockwood; sister-in-law, Diana Gereski and her husband, Jack; and brother-in-law, Salvatore Calabro Jr.

NEW MILFORD - Daniel Vern Allen, 53, came off the mountain in peace to meet Tucker on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife, Teresa, two sons, Steven and Daniel Allen and their families, a stepdaughter, Leslie Quammie, and two brothers, Dusty and Curtis Allen, all of Waterbury; his parents, Dolores Allen and Norman Allen of Florida; and many friends and acquaintances. Thanks to all of you.

John H. Wertsching

NEWINGTON - John H. Wertsching, 86, beloved husband of the late Evelyn L. (Lofstrom) Wertsching, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Alzheimer's Resource Center in Southington.
Born in Hartford to the late Mathias and Agnes (Goritschnig) Wertsching, John lived in Newington for more than 40 years. He was an underwriting director for Aetna Insurance Co., and served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He especially enjoyed the summers that he spent with his family at Hammonasset State Park.
John's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Alzheimer's Resource Center for the care given to John during his time there.
John leaves his sons, John H. Wertsching Jr. of Shelton, Richard P. Wertsching and his wife, Betsy, of Winter Garden, Fla., and Peter J. Wertsching and his wife, Brenda, of South Glastonbury; his daughters, Janet Kanca and her husband, Dr. John Kanca, of Middlebury, and Lisa Vitarelli and her husband, Richard, of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, John, Jeffrey and Jaimie Kanca, Scott, Keith and Megan Wertsching, Michael, Lauren and Thomas Vitarelli, and Jenna and Sara Wertsching; his sister, Pauline Saunders of Manchester; and his sister-in-law, Betty Smith of Glastonbury.
Miss Lily H. DiAngelis

WATERTOWN - Lily Helen DiAngelis, 8, of Beach Avenue, passed away on March 9, 2011.
Lily was born in Watertown April 11, 2002, daughter of Keith and Victoria (Kazlauskas) DiAngelis. She lived in Watertown and was a third grade student at Judson School. Lily liked cooking and watching the Food Network. She thought maybe she'd be a chef.
Lily enjoyed family vacations at the beach, playing with the family's dog, Paddy, singing and playing computer games.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her three sisters, whom she loved very much, Emily C. DiAngelis, Eve E. DiAngelis, and her twin, Bonnie L. DiAngelis, with whom she shared a very special bond. She also leaves her paternal grandparents, Peter and Julia DiAngelis of Watertown; her maternal grandparents, Vitas and Catherine Kazlauskas of Waterbury; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
