Francis J. Kinkead
Francis J. Kinkead, 89, of Westwood Drive in Danbury, husband of the late Marjorie (Kahn) Kinkead, died on June 24, 1999 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Kinkead was born in Derry, Pa. on March 16, 1910, son of the late Harry and Agnes (Callahan) Kinkead. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier in White Plains, N.Y., retiring in 1970. After his retirement, he was employed by the New Fairfield school system for five years.
Mr. Kinkead is survived by a son, Francis R. Kinkead of Danbury; two daughters, Eileen Scilufo of Danbury and Rosemary Romano of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Agnes Scanlan of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and Anna Mae Drenning of Bedford, Pa.; a brother, Charles Kinkead of Legonier, Pa.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:15 a.m., at St. Peter Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.

Annie Rioux Fournier
Annie Rioux Fournier, 91, died from natural causes on Thursday, June 24, 1999 at the Smith House Health Care Center in Stamford, CT. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Fournier.
She was born Nov. 9, 1907, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late John and Marie La Forge Rioux.
Mrs. Fournier was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria M. Alfano of Oldsmar, Fla., Joecille Saraceno of Watertown, and Colleen Maruscsak of Ridgefield; a sister, Zita Peletier of New Britain; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Carmelle La Boisoniere.
Funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, Stamford. Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 am. Burial in Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Stamford.

Helen L. Rzanca
Helen L. Krupski Rzanca, age 86, of Stratford, Conn. died on Thursday, June 24, 1999 in Bridgeport Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport, she was a resident of Stratford for 48 years. Mrs. Rzanca was a retired salesperson at D.M. Read Company and was the widow of Walter Rzanca.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Carole Bednarik and her husband Allan of Trumbull, Conn.; two grandchildren, Michael Bednarik of Trumbull and Mary Beth Kohlmann and her husband David of Brookfield, Conn.; two sisters, Adele Jarusinsky and her husband John of Stratford, Conn. and Hedy Broccoli of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 10:45 a.m., in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, Conn. and at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
Jeanette Carbonaro
Jeanette (Dziejma) Carbonaro, 80, of Danbury, wife of the late Stanley Dziejma, died Thursday at Mediplex of Stamford.
She was born in New London on Oct. 1, 1918, a daughter of the late Stanley and Stephanie (Luniewski) Tomasziewski.
Mrs. Carbonaro was employed by the State of New York as head seamstress at Kings Park State Hospital until her retirement in 1976.
Her hobbies and interests included travel, crafts, fishing, bowling and cooking. She had been a Daytona Beach resident for 25 years before moving to Danbury a year ago.
She was active with the Senior Center in Florida.
Mrs. Carbonaro is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Janet Carbonaro of Danbury; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Carl Garite of Long Island, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Sandra, David, Peri, Janine and Daniell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.

Elenore I. Lucas
Elenore I. Lucas, 77, wife of Emil L. Lucas, died June 23, 1999, at her home in Garland, Maine, surrounded by her loving family.
A former Newtown resident, she was born in Trumbull on Dec. 4, 1921.
Ellie's courage, strength and optimistic spirit graced her family and all who knew her.
Surviving are five children: three sons, Robert J. Lucas of New Milford, John W. Lucas of Brookfield, and Wayne V. Lucas of Newtown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kate and Jeff Stiles of Benton, Tenn., and Linda and Rob Clewley of Garland, Maine; 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and an uncle, George and his wife Dot Baltovich of Pennsylvania.
Services will be conducted from the Brookings-Smith Funeral Home with calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Garland, Maine, at 11:00 with the Rev. Frank Murray, pastor, presiding. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery, Garland, Maine.

Rose Marie Samuelson
Rose Marie Samuelson of Danbury died Thursday, June 24, 1999 at the Danbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Emil C. Samuelson of 166 Old Brookfield Road.
Mrs. Samuelson was born in the Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Joseph and Filomina Latronica and received her education there. She came to this community 35 years ago and worked as a salesperson at D.M. Reads department stores for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Gregory Church in Danbury.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Dwayne J. Samuelson of New Milford and her daughter, Donna Marnelakis of Danbury; three grandchildren, Austin and Devin Samuelson and Christine Marnelakis; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Church. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Wilbert L. Ferry
The death of Wilbert L. Ferry, 74, of Old Town Park Road, New Milford, occurred at his home Saturday after a sudden illness. He was the husband of Margaret J. Ferraiolo Ferry.
Born in Danbury, Oct. 23, 1924, he was the son of the late Clarke S. and Marcella Richardson Ferry. He attended Danbury schools and had lived in Danbury on Woodside Ave. before moving to New Milford in 1961.
A veteran of World War 2 he served in the Army participating in the Battle of the Philippine Islands and New Guinea. He was wounded in action at Luzon, Philippines and received the Purple Heart. He also was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge, Philippine Liberation Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the Philippine Combat Medal.
He had been employed as a Driver with the former Danbury Bus Co. and Candlewood Bus Co. and also worked as a Security Guard at Amphenol Corp. and the J.P. Stevens Co. retiring at age 62.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the New Milford Rifle Club. Mr. Ferry was also an avid reader.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Bruce S. Ferry of New Milford and Douglas C. Ferry of Dunedin, Fla., a daughter, Lesa A. Ferry of New Milford, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury, Friday morning at 11:00 with the Rev. Dr. David W. Reinhardt, Pastor of the Baptist Church of Danbury, officiating.
Interment will be in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home Thursday from 6 to 9:00 and Friday morning after 10:00.

Ruth H. Andrews
The death of Ruth H. (Hatch) Andrews, 78, of 377 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield, occurred at her home Sunday. She was the wife of the late Donald W. Andrews.
She was born in New Fairfield, August 30, 1920 daughter of the late Daniel S. and Charlotte E. Kast Hatch, Sr. and had lived most of her life in Brookfield. She attended Wood Creek School, a one room schoolhouse on Kellogg St. which is now Brookfield. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1938.
Her marriage to Mr. Andrews took place in Pawling, N.Y. January 17, 1940 and their marriage lasted 58 years until his death June 1, 1998.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Brookfield and was active in many functions of the church. She was also a member of Friends From Home during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are her son, Richard L. Andrews, a daughter, Donna R. Flye, 4 grandchildren, Laura Jeanne Andrews, Nathan Lee Andrews, Rebecca Lynn Flye and Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Flye, 2 brothers, Daniel S. Hatch, Jr. and Charles R. Hatch, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Wednesday morning at 11:30 with the Rev. George N. Crocker, Rector, officiating.
Internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Brookfield.

John Wiblishauser
John Wiblishauser died June 26, 1999 in Brookfield, Ct. unexpectedly at the age of 72. He lived at 6 Candlewood Park, Danbury and was the husband of the late Elizabeth Layer Wiblishauser. Mr. Wiblishauser was born in Mimmingen, Germany April 14, 1927 and received his education there. He came to this country at the age of 26 and to this community in 1987 from North Salem, NY. He was Golf Course Superintendent at Vails Grove Golf Course in Brewster for 35 years. Upon his retirement from Vails he worked part time at Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield as Groundskeeper. He was a member of St. Gregory Church in Danbury.
He is survived by his four devoted sons: John W. of Glenside, Pa., Michael J. of Williston Park, NY, James of San Francisco, Ca. and Peter C. of Brewster, NY. He is also survived by his loving daughters-in-law; Kathleen and Valerie Wiblishauser, his sister, Maria Wiblishauser of Germany and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Weds. at 10 am at St. Gregory Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Somers, NY.

Helen B. Krafick
Helen B. Krafick, 93. wife of the late John Krafick, of 35 Harrison St., Danbury, died at Glen Hill Convalescent Home on Monday.
Mrs. Krafick was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, Nov. 4, 1905, daughter of the late Andrew & Elizabeth Biscoe. She had been a Danbury resident for more than 60 years and had been employed at the former Lee Hat Co., the Risdon Manufacturing Co. and retired several years ago from Microbest of Danbury. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Danbury.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Tomczyk of Norwalk and a son, John H. Krafick of Brewster, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces & a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home on Thursday morning after 9 a.m.

Clifford E. Sadler
Clifford E. Sadler, 88, died at his home in Stuart, Florida Friday June 25th. He was the husband of Ruth Sadler for 69 years, also of Stuart, Florida.
Mr. Sadler was born in Meriden, CT, April 1, 1911, the son of George F. and Eleanora Sadler. He was a Danbury resident for 60 years, Danbury Airport Manager for 45 years and owner of Sadler Aircraft Services, Danbury Airport.
Mr. Sadler flew with many famous aviators including Charles Lindbergh and Frank Hawks. He was a master mechanic, avid flyer and model train enthusiast.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Dale Sadler and his wife Carole of New Milford and Glenn Sadler and his wife Joan of Palm City, FL. Also, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial gathering will take place at Sadler Aircraft Services, Danbury Airport at 6:00 p.m. Thursday July 8, 1999.
